STAY AWAY FROM THEM. I literally purchased over $10K in an assortment of 15 Silver Dollars from the Philadelphia, San Fransisco and Denver mints (for various different prices from $195 to $595 each), a $20 Gold Saint Gaudens-P (paid $2,975), a $5 Gold Classic Head 1835-P (paid $2,250), and (1) Silver Eagle 1986-P ICG-70 (paid $950) over the course of two years from July 2021 to March 2023.
Each time I trusted the salesman Dave Lennon that I was making a good purchase and that if anytime I wanted to sell them that they would easily help me with that. I didn't know any better and liked the concept of collecting old coins. What I didn't realize is that I was taken to the cleaners by them.
What I've learned the hard way is that they only are interested in making a fast profit using their slick history bio sales method and are nowhere to be found with assistance in re-selling them. Don't trust them. They will do whatever they can to make the sale and WILL NOT help you move the product later. I left several messages with David, only to finally get a response that a different department handles selling them for you.
So I finally got through to the "right area" and they won't return my calls because obviously I paid too much for them in the first place, so shame on me for not knowing any better and trusting salesman David. David used to call me virtually every month trying to sell coins. Ironically, he hasn't called me in over a year now. Obviously he knows better now. But shame on them and shame on David Lennon... Though I've never met him in person, my vision of David IS THE PROTOTYPICAL SLEEZY USED CAR SALESMAN type.
So I guess I'll hold on to my coins with a hard lesson learned to never buy from them again. Someday, I'll just pass them on to my kids at this point. They're neat to look at, but that's the only positive I can relay.
