Joe is honest , helpful and a very special guy. I can honestly say 99% of my jewelry and the same for my husband has come from Bonafine Jewelers. Most of my rings and all of my bracelets Joe has designed and are custom made. Joe's Mom Phyllis was my friend for several years and that is how Bonafine Jewelers began. Phyllis would be very proud of him and I am sure she has been looking down checking what he has done all these years ! I believe they were training a new person and as we walked by we were still not greeted (it did not bother us, unfortunately we are quite used to this in these suburban towns). We took our time browsing the store as they had a selection of baby related items towards the very back of the store that we found cute yet (albeit very expensive). We spent about 10 mins. As we were leaving we see one of the (presumably new) employee with green hair walk towards the section we were in. He went past us and awkwardly followed us without uttering a word, made us feel like shoplifters. We were deeply offended and and felt disgusted as we exited the store. Apparently we are not the only ones who experienced this, I attached a screenshot of a 56 year old woman who was also followed. This store really needs to reduce their hubris, there is literally nothing of great value to steal from in this store. An apology to this review would be nice, however we do not plan on returning ever and the lack of accountability based on other replies does not provide us with much hope. TLDR; we went in this store and without any verbal interaction, was followed by an awkward employee. We felt offended and disgusted. It's 2024 and I would hate to imagine what the chain of events would be, if we were of a darker skin color.

I wasn't particularly impressed with the website but since the reviews were good I thought I'd give them a chance. This place exceeded my wildest expectations! First of all, I love that it is a family owned business. There are two brothers that own and operate the place. I worked with Brahim on the design of my custom engagement ring. I had been shopping with my girlfriend a few places but she could never seem to find a ring that she totally loved. I went to Brahim with a number of ideas for what I wanted to include in a ring. Brahim was completely professional as he worked with the ideas that I wanted creating sketches and even offering a few ideas for stuff that I hadn't even thought of. He also wasn't pushy about me getting anything too expensive and even suggested that if I wanted to buy the diamond from someone else and bring it to him that would be fine. He's not in the diamond business but did a search for me and in the end actually found a perfect diamond at a great price from someone he knew in the industry. Not to mention the fact that his prices are extremely fair! Having looked at plenty of ring settings and prices his quote was almost equivalent to those at other places that aren't custom made! Once we had agreed on a design in just 3 weeks he was done! The ring came out absolutely perfect and exactly as he had described it would. He actually ended up adding 4 extra diamonds in the band and he didn't even charge me extra for them! Not to mention, every time I went back to him he would even remember my name. Needless to say my fiancé completely loved the ring! She said it was the most beautiful ring she had ever seen. I have already recommended Brahim to a friend who's getting engaged soon and would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the market for custom jewelry. All I can say is that I was pretty distraught at the time because I never thought that I would be able to replace it exactly. Then I remembered great experience I had A few years ago when I had to resize some jewelry at this jewelry store. Luckily, my wife's rang was the same as mine so we took a few pictures And sent them to this jeweler and magically they were able to replace the ring with an even better model. All I can say is there is one word that tells all about this jeweler and that word is quality. All I can say is the ring that they made for me is better than the original and when they say they make custom jewelry, they don't just make regular custom jewelry. I brought it here to get resized and an updated appraisal. Once there, Ali talked me through ways to improve how the center diamond was set in the ring. We worked together and came up with a personalized frame and chose to add some side baguette diamonds to make the appearance of the center stone look bigger than it is. After a lot of back and forth, we came up with the perfect vision for the ring. Ali, Hagop and their whole team worked so hard in bringing my vision to life. I wanted to keep the integrity of my grandmother's ring while enhancing it slightly. I can't say enough good things about all of them. Trust them with your family heirlooms.
