They were very helpful and respectful as we laid our loved ones to permanent rest with a massive stone memorial this week, and stood by quietly and solemnly as our family stood together to memorialize those we had lost. If I could give this place zero stars, I would!!! These people and this place have NO idea what they are doing with your loved one after they pass. This place claimed they submitted all the licenses and claims of my mother's passing and THEY NEVER DID!!! My father who is 77 has had to go back and forth to the SS office, bunker never submitted the proper paperwork so funds have still been deposited as if our loved one is still alive. The SS office told my dad bunker dropped the ball totally. NOTHING and I mean NOTHING was turned into the SS office about her passing. And today; my father found out if Bunker submitted the proper paperwork LIKE THEY CLAIMED and knew what they were doing - my mom's hard work would've been given back to her in a SS lump sum. There is No respect for your loved ones here! Our family has been in talks with them for over 5yrs & turn over rate is terrible. The grounds are not kept up no matter the season. Death is a difficult subject for many. The fact is we will all deal with it eventually. I am going to share the struggle my family went through in hopes it will help another grieving family. When my sister died unexpectedly, our family had no idea what the costs were, where to start and who to call. I turned to Google the day after her death to try to determine our families best course of action and I was disappointed at the information I found. Additionally, when she died at the hospital, we were told by an employee (15 minutes after we were told of her passing) that we needed to tell them where to send her body. Still in shock, I told them to call the only place in town that I knew of... the largest burial company in Las Vegas. My sister did not have any insurance, so all of her funeral expenses would be out of our pockets. The County does offer assistance, but only for cremation services. My family does not believe in cremation and we needed to find a place QUICKLY to start the burial process. My grieving had to halt to deal with the business side of death. My elderly parents were devastated and in no way equipped to even try to decide where to have their daughter transported. We met with the largest burial company soon after my sisters death and were given the grand tour of the cemetery. They offered us coffee, told us they had a new Asian themed area and gave us beautiful brochures. The employees then left my inconsolable deceased sisters daughter, my living sister and myself to mull over the options. It was like a timeshare presentation. When the employees returned they brought the pricing packet. We looked it over and got sticker shocked. We told the employees we had to pay out of pocket and were surprised at the prices. After 2 hours in their office, they referred us to a different company. We called Bunkers and were able to make an appointment for the following day. The lady who worked with us was no nonsense with available options and pricing. She advised us she works closely with the funeral home we did choose and it would be a smooth process going forward. We were relieved, picked out a plot and restarted our grieving process. Bunkers and their staff made our family feel like they understood what we were going though and were there to help us bury our loved one. Within the first 15 minutes of our initial meeting, we provided our budget and then shown plot locations. They removed a large amount of stress from our family and gave us exactly what we needed without any games. We were given the opportunity to take our time with ordering a headstone and were advised it could be taken care of through their company or we could order one on our own. My sister is not in the fanciest, Asian themed area, in a double silk platinum casket, but she she had a proper burial in a location where her elderly parents can visit. Actually, we visit every week and my parents are happy with where my sister has been laid to rest. I highly recommend Bunkers if you want to be treated like a person and not like a dollar sign. read more

I contacted them to discuss a single plot that was purchased by my mother in-law in 1985 for my husband before we married. I recently came across the paperwork and contacted the park to discuss selling the plot. I spoke with Stephanie and she could not have been more helpful. She was able to quickly locate the appropriate documents and sent me an email with a copy of the contract, instructions on selling the plot along with a detailed map of where the plot is located. Do not bury your loved ones here. We had a service for a family member here and when it came to the actual burial, we were told the burial permit wasn't completed. This "business" completely dropped the ball and now we have to postpone until whenever the employee returns with the permit that needs to be signed off by the department of health. We were told the SOONEST it can happen is two HOURS. This is completely unacceptable and avoidable; when the service is paid for the expectation is the funeral home completed all necessary paperwork on time so there are no disturbances. You caused unnecessary additional grief during our already difficult time. Shame on you. read more

They only had a record of the payment and it fell upon family to provide them with my copies. Their excuse was their employee that handled the transaction was no longer employed. I have nothing but good comments for the way Sergio and his staff handled everything with my pop pops funeral service. They made all the arrangements after his passing and showed a lot of care and respect for us. my pop pop had his arrangements taken care of for him and my grandmom ahead of time, so there were no extra costs for us to take care of. I declined the guest book but they provided one anyway at the memorial service. That was really beautiful thank you. They also made arrangements for his military honors. Thank You for making this difficult time in our lives a little easier by taking care of the funeral arrangements in such a courteous manner. read more

I have tried to locate a grave site on three occasions at this facility, the staff will not assist. They have everyone on their computer system but refuse to look up the location of a grave site. I volunteer for Find-a-Grave to photo tombstones for family members whom live out of State and wish to have a photo of their relative's gravestone. This staff is in the wrong business as they couldn't care less about someone who is buried in their cemetery. Come in the door with new business, well now that's a different story. I agree with all the one star reviews, the property is not maintained. If I could give them a negative star rating I would. I feel sad for anyone who has family buried at this site. These people will prey on your sorrow, grief and distress and will rarely provide anything near positive results unless you shell out thousands of dollars and even then they'll try to milk you for a few thousand more to sell you a lack luster mediocre tombstone priced at 50% or more the original cost. They are predators. Buyer Beware. They couldn't care less about the grounds or it's conditions. I'm sorry I buried my loved one here but, you can at least learn from my mistake and go somewhere else. It is very traumatic for the whole family when a Father you love very, very, very dearly passed away. Words cannot express the painful feeling inside, but I'm grateful for the help of Daryl Conn (Family Service Counselor at the Bunker's Memory Gardens Memorial Park) He is compassionate ,patient, understanding, and kind nature can help you to make the process of burial better and a very memorable experience. He took me on the tour of the place, and he help found the perfect Plot for my Dad near Lord Jesus, and he also help us pick out the tombstone. He was also there the whole time at the graveside service to make sure the ceremonies run smoothly, but most of all he provided me with emotional support. At least 30% of the grounds do not have grass anymore, and now your loved ones are there in graves covered with wonderful southern Nevada desert soil. The grass looks horrible all the time and is never manicured,the graves all around are sunken in and not filled with dirt or sod unless you constantly complain about it and the decorations my family,friends and I put down have been consistantly destroyed by the staff time and time again!!!! My mom Deborah Lynn Sanchez passed away November 2016, and our family is still awaiting her headstone to be placed at her grave. Numerous calls have been made with an excuse everytime. I just went on Easter hoping the headstone would be there and of course it was not. The grounds were horrible, dead grass, weeds, and puddles of standing water throughout. I called again today 4-24-17 at 4:30 and yet another "call back tomorrow" excuse. I will be going down there in person in the morning. read more

The grounds at this cemetery are so disgusting. The dead grass is everywhere and what little of it is green is crunchy it's so dry. There are weeds and dirt patches where grass should be. I am so sorry my loved ones are buried there. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. When I inquired over the phone to Rosemary that I was coming from out of state to place flowers I ask how the grounds look because three years ago I stated they needed care. Her response was her crew does the best they can. Well Rosemary I have news for you, if I was in charge of that place that crew that does the best that can would be replaced immediately. If that's the best they can do get rid of them and hire somebody who can take pride in their work. Or just maybe you should be the one replaced with someone who knows how to run a business. RUN away!! I went in today to get some information and pricing for a memorial service I am planning for my father. The outside of the building is old and looks run down. When I opened the door, I could immediately hear two employees talking loudly to each other. An older woman with an accent saw me come in but did not stop talking with the other employee to greet me. The other employee was apparently leaving for the day as the older woman said "I'm stuck here for a couple more hours unfortunately." I've been waiting unacknowledged for almost 10 minutes now. There also was another customer in a room off to the side waiting for the woman's help. Finally, the woman comes out of her office and tells me "I'm gonna be a while" and walks away. No "hi", "I'll be with you soon", no sort of greeting at all. I was completely in shock for being spoken to like that especially in a funeral home. I turned around and walked out. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I never received any of the information that I went in for. I wouldn't have paid them a dime for anything after being treated like that. The woman working there needs some serious lessons in customer service and compassion if she's going to be in that line of work. Or better yet, just retire as she seems to hate her job anyway. We buried my grandfather at this cemetery last week. It was a terrible time for our family but the people there were so helpful and compassionate they helped us get through this difficult time. From the people on the grounds Blue and Tyler and the office staff was phenomenal. The Cemetery grounds here are nice. I hope that my wife and I will be buried here,, it's apparent that the grounds are taken care of. My grandmother was so heartbroken and everyone there put her and our family at ease. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to go through. Update: Took my mother back to visit my brother's grave in September, had not visited since last review. They fixed and painted the gate and wall, they started to water the grass which is turning green, finally. But when we got to my brothers grave there was dead grass and dirt. Now the headstones on her row have been moved and put back crooked. They give all kinds of excuses. I go frequently to clean up and care for my grandmother's grave and those around her. My husband and i purchased a plot at the Bunkers Memory garden when it was first being built. At that time there was to be lake in the center. So the sales man didn't give me a plot number, just wrote lake side on the contract. 27 years later, Aug 25 2013 my husband is killed. I am at Bunkers and find that i have an assigned plot since no lake was ever put in. Ok. A little pissed but i guess we can deal with it. But then when we went to pay for the opening and closing of the plot the lady with the accent ( don't remember the name) was extremely rude. Wanted me to pay in advance for my open and closing when i die too and i said no. I also 27 years ago bought a head stone. The lady said they will have to try to contact the warehouse to fine it. In the mean time a temporary marker will be used. We asked for extra chairs for the elderly and was told no we could only have 8 chairs for a grave side service. We asked if we could bring our own. Was also told no. Day of service was told someone from Bunker would be outside to help us with anything we needed. Never saw any one. After the service now we see that my husband was sent flowers but they are on the outside of the open grave away from where all the people were and no one could see them. I went back to my husbands grave 11 days later only to find no name tag and tire tracks across his grave. HE IS NOT A NOBODY. HE WAS MY HUSBAND, A FATHER , A SON , A BROTHER,.. MY daughter in law called the next working day and was told a temperary marker would be put in. She went the following day only to be told again by a totally different person, This makes like 4 different people and none tell us the same story, that it will cost $50.00 for the temporary marker. why weren't we told when we were there paying for the opening and closing and we asked about a temp marker. My daughter in law got into a very heated arguement with some of the staff at Bunkers while other grieving families were present. She later apologized to the innocent people there. Not one person has had any compassion or been nice. It seemed that since i had already bought the plot they knew i was going to use it so they didn't have to be nice. I would bury my family anywhere but here .......worst experience of our lives made only worse. read more

The location is great!! The people who visit are great!! The management & or the owners are less than POOR. At present, there is no green grass...& you know that would be okay if they wouldn't constantly remove your loved one's personally placed items from either you or others. The ppl here, Rick and Cira are so WONDERFUL!! They get my highest praise!!They couldn't have been more sweet, pleasant, welcoming and accommodating. I felt so relaxed and comfortable and felt they cared about doing whatever they could to meet my needs, not only financially, but the burial needs as well.
