"Yay! I'm a fan" and being the "duchess" of a mortuary/cemetery (after 2 check-ins) are both strange but I'm comfortable enough to talk about death. In case you didn't know, people die everyday. I've lost the most important people in my life. For some odd reason, I just can't cry at funerals. Well, I cried once and it was horrible. I was 4 years old and it was my first time to attend a funeral. "Why is grandma in a box while we're eating?" I've associated funerals with eating lasagna after and staying up late. All of a sudden, everyone's crying - I was not sure what was going on so, I copied everyone and started crying too. The staff members at Palm are very professional. The place is clean. There were boxes of tissue on every pew and a basket of bottled water at the entrance. They have a projector screen so we can watch a video to commemorate the life of the person that just passed away. They listen to all requests for services and execute them well. Everyone deals with death differently. I can empathize with those who experience death of a loved one but crying is just not my way of expressing it. Sometimes I've already cried my heart out that by the time of the funeral, I'm already emotionally exhausted to shed another tear...that or I think about the lasagna I'm about to eat after the funeral. I could only imagine what employees at Palm deal with everyday. read more

At a Difficult time, when a loved one has passed, they were so kind and understanding and did everything they possibly could to help me get everything I needed together for the service. They listened to my concerns and their advice was very comforting and helpful. The day of the service went exceptionally well, everything in their Chapel was clean and beautiful, right down to the smallest details. Their staff was very professional and extremely helpful and courteous. I Highly Recommend Using Their Services, you will not be disappointed. John Horton was the speaking clergy at our service and he did an exceptional job. He added a little humor to a very solemn eulogy and most people came up to me afterwards and complimented how wonderful his presentation was. I would highly recommend him also. read more

Conveniently located less that 10 mins from my house. Death is never an easy subject to tackle and I was very fortunate that the friend who passed prearranged their funeral wishes years ago with Palm. We weren't left waiting long and the entire staff was very accommodating and friendly. My mom and I only had to make a few decisions because everything was pretty much prearranged but what decisions we did make went smoothly and not pressured. This review is so overdue and my apologies to the management and staff for the delay. One year ago yesterday my mom passed away and we used Palm Mortuary on Cheyenne. We had used Palm services for my dad 28 years ago and my brother 6 years ago. I cannot say enough about the team at Palm on Cheyenne. Tim Zrelak was our arranger and I cannot say enough about the compassion, empathy, kindness and professionalism he provided during this incredibly difficult time. From the moment we walked in, we were provided with exceptional service which continued through finalizing the arrangements, the service and even follow up information with memorial events. We never once felt any pressure in making decisions as to what services to purchase and Tim walked us through every decision with patience and empathy. David the manager was so helpful when he reviewed all of the final paperwork and how to notify credit bureaus, social security and all of those things we never think of and if we needed anything to contact him or his staff. Our family felt cared for through the entire process. The service was so beautiful my mom would have absolutely loved it. We can't thank Arthur and Derrel enough for their support guiding us at the church and then the cemetery. No one ever wants to go through this process, but it is inevitable that we will many times trough our life. I highly recommend the team at Palm on Cheyenne and am so grateful for all of their kindness, compassion, empathy and support through this incredibly difficult time. read more

It's not the cheapest option but they performed flawlessly and professionally. My mom unexpectedly passed away while visiting my sister in Vegas. Palm Cheyenne staff was friendly and caring. They listen and accommodated our wishes. Their place is immaculate. We checked out another place and was grateful to find Palm Cheyenne. They took care of handling the times with the church and the cemetery and they made sure that everything came together. On the day of the funeral, everything went smoothly. We had no problems or disappointments. They allowed us to have the procession go by my parents home and that was an added special touch to our grief. Arrived at 2:25pm on 4/9/16 for a friend that passed away with my family. I was informed that this place was chosen by the family because of the service that they provided and the size of the facility since there was a gathering of 200 people. However the area was clean and well kept including the parking lot which can accommodate a large gathering. It was nice and comforting to witness a facility with a friendly and caring staff that accommodate every guest needs in times of grief and sorrow. My uncle passed away and I came in from California. I expected the mortuary to try to take advantage of the family because there was no pre need planning. I was pleasantly shocked by their reasonable approach to the arrangements. Phil the director went way above and beyond to make sure that everything went exactly as we had planned. I had spent 3 days preparing a PowerPoint presentation and tried everything to get it to work but couldn't. I was devastated. Phil to the rescue he had their media person put it in the proper medium. Very limited and expensive 'packages' with no flexibility. Personable staff but lots of miscommunication, organist was at service but didn't play (they refunded) without a reason, confusion with flowers. Nice little touches and everything did look impressive and was done quickly. read more
