The blackened catfish is packed with flavor, the blackened salmon is excellent, and the chicken fried steak is absolutely amazing -- classic comfort food done right. Honestly, we haven't had a single thing we didn't enjoy. Beyond the food, the people there are extraordinarily nice. The staff is welcoming and genuinely seems to work hard to create an environment that's enjoyable for everyone who walks in. It has a great diner-like atmosphere that just feels comfortable and relaxed -- the kind of place where you want to sit, enjoy a good meal, and come back again. I would honestly ignore the poor reviews because they just don't match our experience at all. Every time we've been there the food has been excellent, the service has been friendly, and the overall experience has been great. Railway Depot has definitely become our go-to spot in the area, and we're glad we found it.
