    Beer selection is top notch!
    John T.

Man what a find! Was in town and just walking to our hotel room from Little Italy when we stumbled upon this gem. Great beer selection and the Birria tacos were probably the best I've had, and I'm from LA! The service by the bartender was also very, very good. Try this place if you are craving good beer and good food!!!!

Cool and hip spot in Little Italy! I had the Cloud 9 Draft and a Carlsberg Draft. The Philly Cheesesteak and the Biria Tacos were awesome! Friendly service and cool vibes. Definitely a nice spot when in San Diego.

Cute space (check out the "clouds" on the ceiling!) with good quality menu items, but the kitchen is still working out some kinks and the wait staff makes itself a little too scarce for optimal service. Our Falling Panzanella Salad (roasted butternut squash, brussels sprouts, baby kale, shaved onion, ciabatta croutons, toasted pepitas, goat cheese, pomegranate, and mango vinaigrette) came with the pork belly we opted to add, but sans the advertised mango vinaigrette. Easy fix, right? Except our server never checked on us again after dropping off our food so we had to wait until we could get someone's - anyone's - attention. By the time the dressing (which, funnily enough, didn't actually taste anything like mango but was certainly preferable to having a dry salad!) finally arrived, we were halfway done eating. To the restaurant's credit, the server whose attention we managed to get (not the one who originally took and delivered our order) did offer to bring us another complete salad, and when we politely declined, proactively discounted the dish by 50% on our final bill. An unexpected but appreciated service recovery gesture!

This place was amazing, the location is easy to find and the beers and food are delicious here. We ordered a fruited sour and a refreshing pilsner. We enjoyed our beers with their big Bavarian pretzel, it was fresh out of the oven and hot. It came with a spicy mustard and cheese dip and was very filling. The service was great, they were very attentive to the group we were with. The ambiance was casual and nice, it wasn't too crowded. We will definitely come back here.

Airy beer bar downtown with two TVs. Nice selection of pub quality foods. Tried their salad with fried pork belly. Decent, very fresh, but not the greatest dressing. Was supposed to be mango vinaigrette but there was no mango flavor. Really friendly and great service though. I'm sure some of the other food on the menu is great. Five stars for the space and ambience, four stars for the food.

We stopped in here after the No Kings protest. The place was packed full of people. They did the best they could to serve everyone as quickly as possible. We tried a pretzel and had root beer. The servers remained calm, cool and collected, despite the chaos within their establishment in terms of the number of people. I can't help but wonder what ambiance is like on a normal day.

Beer and pub food by downtown! I didn't have beer but my friends did and enjoyed that you can try different ones in a flight or various sizes of choice. I had the burger and I got it medium rare but it was quite pink. The pink itself I liked fine but what I didn't Ike was that the bun was also pink and essentially soaked with the pink meat juice. My tomato was also a huge slice which made it hard to take bites decently. The fries were good, the wings were good (though quite spicy), the shrimp tacos were smaller than expected for the price but my friends seemed to enjoy them. Overall, we enjoyed it and my kids inhaled their medium cooked burgers! We walked over from the USS Midway so totally walkable so you don't have to find additional parking!

Great variety of beers and wine. Open and spacious bar set up. Great place to watch any sports games. Service was great. Lots of unique wing flavors. The truffle fries were a great option for sharing, a little on the saltier side. I ordered the KFC sando, good first few flavorful bites but I noticed the chicken was dry, the slaw helped balance some of the dryness, and the bread was light and fluffy became a little soggy towards the end.

This place was beautiful. Clean, open space, beautiful artwork and overall design. The server was attentive and professional. We sat at the high top section facing the open views of the street and passersby. I had the shrimp tacos and the truffle shuffle fries. My friend had a chicken Caesar salad. The fresh corn tortillas smelled and tasted so good with the veggies and well-seasoned shrimp. The fries were a huge portion and tasted so clean, crisp, and soft. I had some kind of IPA that was a suggested pairing for the fries and it was a great complement to the food. It was overall a perfect lunch.

Checking out the chef and his facial hair outgrown, not covered or tidy like the back of his hair.

Came here for the first time after work and walked into a open ambiance kind of restaurant and their menu is kind of small in size, you would have to get up to order from bartender and no wait service. We wanted light beers, ordered their blonde beer and some else we gobbled... while hanging out at the bar, we could look into the kitchen and I noticed the carefully tied long hair of the chef and how his beard was grown out to his sternum and untethered. With the food and safety classes I've taken and chefs I've worked with, facial hair is to be covered or kept tidy and his beard was not. Yeah I'm here to drink beer, yeah I ordered food and the thought of his curly beard hairs crossed my mind. I survived, and may have gotten grossed out of a potential cross contamination situa... I'm giving them a 3 stars for the negligence.

I appreciate yall saving us a table so that way we can grab some food and drink away at our second spot during my 4th annual fake but real beer walk festival. We got to try a little of everything and it was such a great way to enjoy my event. Nice selection on beer and the staff was also super friendly and helpful.

Nice brewery space with restaurant food available. The scenario is not favorable if you cannot get a seat at the small bar. Tables are server serviced. It took awhile to get service and to cash out. Kia Ora: New Zealand hops. Very bitter. Not for me. Lei Up: Citrus tang of the pineapple, orange and guava really come through. More on the tart side. Juice Press: Really hoppy. Delta Sequence: Dry hopped. Meh. Not for me. Pistil: Smooth, but bitter. Kiwi Breeze: Really bitter. New Zealand. Meh. A pretty big menu of beer for a lot to try.

Top notch beer. The food was tasty and perfect for knocking back some brews. The service was friendly and helpful. Nice interior, bright, airy and clean with some outdoor. Parking is super easy across the street.

We needed a place to have a quick snack and this place called us over with its big outdoor patio and open air seating. We walked in and could not believe the revolving tap list. They definitely have a beer for everyone's choice. The pretzel menu was also a pleasure to peruse and we knew we had to try one. This is their specialty as these pretzels are hand rolled with influences from Germany, Philadelphia and NY. They serve them with your choice of beer dipping sauce and cheese. We decided on the Jumbo Bavarian Pretzel. It was huge and by far the best tasting pretzel I think I have ever tasted. Soft and great texture. You could tell great care was taken in the creation of this pretzel and so yummy with the cheese. They also offer signature pretzel pizzas, pretzel sandwiches and other pub grub. Service was helpful and the restaurant is very clean. Happy Hour is offered daily M-F 3:00 - 6:00pm. Great place to watch a game too as lots of big screens. Always remember "Life is a pretzel so enjoy the twists and turns."
