not great not good either the burgers aren't great and my daughter got chicken fingers that they opened? and then gave them to us like that, I get down the shore is weird and food is mostly bad to average here but how hard is it to cook chicken tenders or make a juicy burger that's flame broiled and not cooked on a flat top, also whats up with the shredded lettuce? I live a few blocks away, and I have frequented here ever since they opened a few years ago. The food was awesome with the previous owners, but now with the new ones, I can't say enough how they seriously kicked their game up. The food has such flavor and appeal that I seriously become saddened when I am too full to finish it all! They engage with their customers on their Facebook page, and ask for suggestions and comments often. I suggested they put more BBQ sauce on their pulled pork and sure enough, next time around I got one, it was exactly how I had hoped! The prices are reasonable, the serving sizes are huge, and the staff is extremely friendly. Whether we decide to pull up a seat and eat inside, or get it to go, always a smile on the staff's faces and always greeting us nicely. That goes a long way! On Saturday 2/27/21 we decided to try Burger 25 (my sons choice as it was his birthday) we were excited because we are new to Ocean County and have been wanting to try this place out. Well... So glad we did! It was busy which is understandable for a Saturday. When we went to the counter to order we were told immediately it would be about a 35-40 min wait for food. We didn't mind it. We ordered 2 Mac Daddy's, Chicken Avocado Club, a cheeseburger kids meal, Nashville wings, Jack Daniel wings, Fries, A chocolate milk shake and the chocolate covered strawberry (flavor of the month) the boy who took our order was very nice and had a mask and gloves on, as well as the rest of the staff. He told one of the workers to seat us when a table began available. We got our milkshakes within 10 minutes. The chocolate covered strawberry shake was absolutely delicious. My son loved his chocolate shake as well. The boy was on the lookout for us and when he saw a table he cleaned it well for us and called us over. When we got our food wow we were shocked at how big the burgers were even my daughters kids meal cheeseburger was big. The portion of fries were good and thick. The dipping sauce for the fries is a garlic ranch sauce holy moly GENIUS! The same boy who took care of us came over to our table and asked how everything was and if we needed anything else. I didn't catch his name but he was very attentive. The food was incredible to say the least. I couldn't stop thinking about the Chocolate covered strawberry milkshake i had to have another one yesterday. It was just as delicious, the best milkshake I've ever had. I usually get the Mac daddy or the (retired) chili burger and the Nash Chicken was awesome this month, secretly hoping they make it a permanent item!!! Tried Burger 25 for the second time, really wanted to like the burger. Ordered Mushroom swiss off the menu. Bun, is excellent, toppings had nice flavor, but the burger was so overdone. I live right down the street from this "restaurant." I sent my daughter to pick up dinner for the family and the staff was extremely rude. We order from here rather frequently and this hasn't been the first time that the staff has given an attitude. I suggest they be trained on customer service. I work in retail and attitude toward customers is a top priority. If these employees don't like their jobs maybe they should find employment elsewhere. It's taking every ounce of my energy to not go in there and cause a scene. If it happens again, trust that I will. read more

To Toms River residents, Burger 25 is nothing less than a local legend. I consider myself a foodie, i've dined in some high-end NYC Americana joints, and have been treated to 3-course-meals in some of Israel's finest hotels, and of course at these extravagant places, you can usually find me munching on a burger. But even after experiencing truly high end burgers, I still regard Burger 25 as one of the finest meat patties around. Time and time again, I end up at this vibrant Route 37 hole in the wall, choosing a new burger to sink my teeth into this time. The "New Jersey" burger with pork roll is truly something to behold. The iconic 'Boardwalk Fries' are something like i've never had before, spiced to perfection and consistently crispy. The 'garlic ranch' is also really great, served with every order of fries. I love sauce, and it's definitely in my Top 5 sauces. Everything is priced really fairly, and definitely bang for your buck. Next time you're looking to clog your arteries, put the Burger King coupons down, and drive your fat ass over to Burger 25. I'm out ! read more

Ate here twice recently. Both times me and my wife were very happy with everything. The service was really fast. We called ahead and went there about 10 minutes later and they had it ready a minute or two later. The girl up front was very nice and even let me use a coupon on my phone even though it was probably supposed to be printed. I get the classic cheeseburger, the #1. Both times I thought it was a great burger. My wife gets the bbq bacon burger, the #2. This one is also really good. She loves it and i like it very much. The fries are a little different and not exactly my favorite, but she loves them. They are kind of thick fries with a seasoning on them. I get the onion rings which are really good. I had a strawberry shake each time and it was amazing. Normally if i get a milkshake from a fast food place i will get some sort of upset stomach but i had no problems after downing the shake very quickly. Im guessing they just use better ingredients. We also got the kids meal with a grilled cheese and fries. The grilled cheese was great. I think they just use a bun upside down. For 5 bucks its a nice little meal. This will be our burger place now. It can get a little expensive but its definitely a step up from fast food and well worth it in my opinion. In order to cut the cost down ill probably just make my own fries to go with it in the future. But the burger is well worth the price. The shake is almost 5 bucks too but it was really good. Hard to say no to that one. I recommend just trying the classic before moving on to all the different variations of burgers. Overall I definitely recommend this place. read more

If you can't find a burger here to suit your desire, then you just can't be satisfied. The original owners didn't really take care of the business, letting customers be ignored, the dining area was dirty, and the food always took a long time. The new owners have seen the issues and addressed them. The food is awesome, the menu can keep you in an ordering dilemma for a while, and the desserts and sides well make you come back again to try the next one. read more
