I have recently acquired a very scary anaphylactic allergy later in life. I went in today and asked if I could have a burger with only salt and pepper. The young lady was so kind and said absolutely! She asked what allergies I had and had the cook clean the grill prior to preparing my burger!! Not only was the burger delicious but the way they went the extra mile for my safety was amazing! Great staff, relaxing Shore ambiance, and pretty good food. Convenient location in town, perfect for a quick bite. The combo that I ordered only took a couple of minutes to come out, served piping hot. The fries embody the homemade nature of the menu, with the crisp and freshness that's to be expected from a natural-cut style of fries. Bam Bam's Chicken Bites were interesting: they almost tasted like a typical style of chicken nuggets using some sort of product other than simply a cut-up piece of chicken breast. These were fine, with solid seasoning on the breadcrumb. The chicken was moist, if not a tiny bit stringy. The Bam Bam sauce took it to the next level, as a typical mayo-based "Animal Style" sauce with a little bit of heat. I've heard varying opinions on the burgers, and I would be curious to try them even if they are on the pricey Five Guys side in my opinion. I particularly like the way that they emboss their logo onto each bun. I am curious to return and try more Bam with the Bam. read more

Came in for a burger, and not leave disappointed. Friendly staff took my order, and although it did take a while to come up, it was clear my cheeseburger was cooked to order. I got a single with cheese for around $11, which is fair pricing. Inside, the nice mural brings the beach feeling. This was legitimately the Best food I've ever had in my life. It can't get more simple than that. The order I got was the Mac and cheese burger and it was immaculate. It filled me up quickly. I also got a side of fries Wich were shocking because they were freshly seasoned unlike normal restaurants where it's just frozen fries that are just crinkly golden. The service was nice. There was a young polite man that served me he was very friendly. And on the outside the place didn't look so big. But when I got inside it was really cool. They had a mural that caught my eye. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. It is not worthy of even half a star. This restaurant came highly recommended to us, as being an awesome restaurant with great food and great staff. I also wish I didn't have to write a negative review, but unfortunately it is very warranted. So to start out, we waited for 10 minutes for anyone to even come take our order at the counter. We could see employees in the back, but no one noticed we were standing there. Meanwhile a line was starting to add up behind us. I looked around and saw about 8 people in the restaurant eating. Only one person was waiting for food, and the rest of the customers were about to leave. The remaining tables were dirty and just had half eaten food on them. Finally an older blonde lady came up and took our order, she seemed very agitated, and any question we asked seemed like she was being bothered to answer. She then starts looking at our small child, who is touching the menu. He had bent up the corner of the menu to look underneath. The blonde lady, then reprimanded my child and reached out and snatched the menu from his hand almost hitting him. In which I looked at her in shock, I then told my son not to touch the menu again. And you can clearly see she's not happy at all at this point. And neither was I at the point, if the food had not been paid for I would've have left. There is always a way to talk to small children with a kind of language they can understand. So we sat down to wait for the food, we had to find a area that was clean. Which has hard to find because the place was filthy. We finally get our order, we then begin to walk towards the door, she stares at us mean. Which is uncalled for considering, she is the one in the wrong. We get back home, and start giving everyone food. We open up my child's food, and the employee literally sabotages my child's order, to the point that it's inedible. Someone at that restaurant squirted ketchup, all over the bun the whole inside of the burger it was literally dripping and oozing all over the table. I'm only writing this review to show the petty behavior or a grown adult over a 6 year old child touching a menu. What's sad is we ordered $75.00 of food, everyone loved the food accept for our child who I had to go out and buy new food for. I also forgot to add my child cried and asked what he did to make that lady so angry. I told him sometimes people have bad days, and todays was the blonde lady bad day. And now for Bam Bam Burgers, I hope you can understand why I wrote a negative review. Good Day! read more

First of all. I wanted to like it. I really did....for what it is, I believe it is a little pricey. $12 "Bam Bam" burger and $7 for fries. I could have gone to another restaurant and been waited on for that. A Thin beef patty similar to "wendy's" in my opinion. The cheese was not even melted on the burger. We went here today for a late lunch. The older lady behind the counter was rude and yelled at my child for looking at their cheap laminated menu. The burger was soaked in ketchup and the bun was soggy. place is under staffed as tables were full of customer's dirty plates, cups, and napkins. Price is a bit high for what you get but it's the food and customer service that is the worst. Do not recommend this place. read more

Knowing that the price is a little more than we would normally spend on a burger, my fiancé and I decided to split one. The very nice employee told us about their lunch special that includes a drink and fries, so we split a double BBQ cheeseburger lunch special. The food came out very quickly. The mountain of fries were hot, fresh, and coated with bay seasoning which paired well with the BBQ. The thin burger patties were fresh and cooked perfectly. It's left wing, full of disingenuous Steve Abubato stories, and for some reason it's sent free to my office. Anyway, they mentioned some chef (no disrespect) has opened up a new burger joint in Point Beach. Well, we were feeling like overspending for a cheeseburger, so we tested it out last night. We shared, to go, one average sized burger and fries, over 18 bucks. Oh yeah, they did that "do you want to add a tip for counter service before we make your food" thing. No thank you. As I get older, I compare everything to our favorite Greek diner. 18 bucks gets me bread, slaw, pickle, soup or salad, entree, 2 vegetables, potato and dessert. Yup, I turned into my father. The cheeseburger was OK but way overpriced. The fries however were terrible. Burned. See picture. Nothing at this address ever makes it. So many restaurants in this building have come and gone, and they were all overpriced. I don't think Bam Bam is going to make it. The high school is a block away and the kids all go out for lunch because it's not cool to eat in school. Kids are looking for a $5, 2 slice and a soda student special, not $18 for lunch.
