Yes I highly recommend anybody to go eat breakfast and lunch here the food is so delicious you can't move you have to sit there for a minute B4 you can get up it makes you sleepy but you have to keep pushing to make it to your next destination me and my princess eat here all the time the food is delicious and the food is affordable and on a budget the stAff is top notch and the the restaurant is clean and immaculate in my honest opinions it's a quiet ministry we enjoy eating at in my opinion)if you haven't been here I invite, request, suggest and reccommend you to go and eat there and the place is nice and clean)) read more

Most of the food seemed premade. Food was not great, but for the cost can't expect much more. If you want subpar food that's quick this your place, otherwise I'd choose somewhere else. read more

Lunchbox has some amazing spicy chicken fingers. Their fries cut in the restaurant. Their ranch is very good and it is homemade!

Good for breakfast! I wouldn't listen to the 3 stars they have when we ate there. I had a croissant sandwich and small grits. Hubby had tenderloin breakfast and liked it! Coffee could have been hotter. I would come again, though. No other breakfast nook near the downtown area. read more

Whoa! I was truly expecting this place to be amazing, considering its location. We are from out of town. We love southern cooking and we are from southern GA. However, the food here was very bland.... The potato soup, still haunts my dreams. Has to be the worst potato soup I have ever tasted in my life. The chicken strips were so bad.... Our 8 year old would NOT eat them. We were not expecting a 5 star restaurant, but a nice hole in the wall place that uses seasoning. Unfortunately we did not find it, or the seasoning. The people who run the place are very nice and we had good service. The inside of the building is not like the outside, don't be fooled. The inside has really cool decorative aspects. If you are looking for a quick place to grab a below mediocre tasting meal, this is the spot! Personally, will never recommend it or come back. This place could be good with a little work. The service is kinda poor. Upon last visit, our waitress left in the middle of our visit. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but she was the only waitress in the place. Aside from that the food is good. Not great, mind you. Kinda tastes a little old. If you are starving when you pop in the electric company, stop in. But just don't expect much. They do always have soaps on though, if you need to catch up on your "stories". read more

This place is a joke the worst cheese burger I've ever had. I've literally had microwaveable dinners and school lunches that tasted better. I really wasn't impressed with the service either seeing how they screwed up my order. It looks like a little quaint dive but it's not the burgers aren't even hand patties McDonald's taste better. read more

If you want to eat like your in your old high school cafeteria, this is your place. They are super nice people and owners but it's bland food and that's being generous with the word bland. The burger taste just like a government issued burger and the only thing you taste in the chicken strips is the batter. I will say they know how to make a damn good baked potato. We drove through BG super-hungry on a Monday, the day the town seemed to be pretty closed. However, we found the lunch box open and settled in. We found the waitress lovely and attentive, topping up the sodas and bringing extra condiments, checking we were ok. I had the catfish sandwich. It was really good, I could hasve eaten it all over again. I also ordered the garlic mushrooms which were pretty good, but I was hankering after mushrooms as I hadn't had any for over a week of my trip. We also ordered onion rings. These were the best of all trip. Even as they cooled down the batter still shatteringly crisp. I had onion rings at least daily on visiting the area and these took the top spot. Thanks! Boyf ordered the chicken fingers and fries that he said we only "ok" not spectacular in anyway, and he suspected this had all come out of a packet. That said the pricing was good, service good and quick and the lady who served us ( i suspect the owner) was super nice. Tip: Lots of golfing mags to read, if you want to read about something else while you wait, maybe take your own reading material! read more

A true hole in the wall gem near downtown Bowling Green area. Everything else in the area was closed at 2pm on a Monday and we were hungry after touring the National Corvette Museum so we took a chance and stopped in. So glad we did!! My boyfriend ordered the catfish sandwich--it was fried to perfection and they allowed him to substitute an order of hush puppies as a side. Those were also delicious. I got the chicken fingers with a stuffed baked potato., both of which were great. A couple of locals recommended the spicy chicken fingers with buffalo sauce -- didn't have that but I'm sure it's also good. Friendly service, good food. Give it a try! read more
