I almost did not give my business at all after the people in front of me were upset that they thought they ordered meals and only received ribs. Instead of the employee trying to rectify the situation she laughed at them and told them "what do you want me to do? I know what you ordered, you ordered ribs" the customer pointed out the special on the sign she thought she was getting and just got laughed at again by a bunch of teenagers working the counter. I've never seen anything like it and if I didn't have three hungry kids I wouldn't have stayed. My in-laws also had a poor experience, my mother in law's burger was missing ingredients and when my father in law brought it to their attention the girl at the register told him they would give him the missing ingredients and they could put it on themselves. When he asked for ketchup and fry sauce they didn't hand it to him, they threw it at him. Our order was correct and our food was ok but the customer service was severely lacking and definitely will deter me from returning when we visit again. read more

Best food over 8000 feet elevation(and lower) Love this place and the folks that run it, we live an hour and half away but will sometimes make the drive just for the great food. (The scenery ain't bad either.) I always have a burger with everything including jalapeños, my grandsons always gets a Mountain Burger, my wife is more adventurous and has explored more of the menu and has NEVER been disappointed....outstanding onion rings and shakes too. Went in 2013 but this gem was closed to what I was told was a family emergency. Planned a trip this year and this place was the first place I wanted to go to. Well, when I arrived I was happy to see them open and very busy. They sell everything From burgers, ribs, smoked pork sandwiches, ice cream and many other goodies. I ordered the Barn Burger which was a 1/3lb Patty with cheese topped with smoked pulled pork and slaw. After tasting everything individualy(all were great by the way) I decided to take my first bite of the burger and the flavors of everything together worked very well and I couldn't stop eating. You know it's good food when you don't touch your drink or side item while eating. Banana Shake was pretty good, fries were ok and the onion rings were decent. Giving 4 out of 5 due to the cost of the combo(Burger, side and drink costs were high...18). This place must make a killing! read more

Wow. Small place near panguitch lake with great burgers. They use fresh patties. My husband had the mountain Burger and loved it. I had the Jake burger which was really good. They used quality buns and the cheese on the burger was excellent. It was raining so we took our food to go. The photos was took doesn't do the food justice. I also got the white chocolate oreo shake. So delicious my two year old drank most of it. He also had a corn dog. They are also the only place they offers WiFi in the area. We will be coming back next year when we visit the lake. read more

Beautiful, quaint and CLEAN setting around a beautiful small red building built to resemble a barn. They have music playing at the perfect level. This is about all I have to say that's positive. Food is ordered by walking up to a window and they call your name and bring it to you when ready. A younger gal with straight long dark hair took our order but before doing so, we could hear staff behind her complaining about an order she took all the while she ignored a young girl in front of us who was waiting on a to-go box after politely asking for such. Her attitude toward the staff behind her was truly, "Oh well", as that's exactly what she said while shrugging her shoulders. When she did take our order, she acted like she was doing us a favor. We had to ask questions several times and her attitude while answering questions was next to horrible. Once we did get our food, we had to return to the front stand to get ketchup. When I inquired about its sudden disappearance, the same gal rather nastily said, "They're refilling it now." There was no offer to bring any to us or let me know how long it would be before the ketchup returned. There was no line behind us while ordering. Further, there was never a line to order. As for the food, it was mediocre if that. The special of the night was brisket and apparently they change daily. I ordered the BBQ sandwich & chili cheese fries. The BBQ was covered in so much sauce that I could not taste the meat. Now a good idea would be to have the BBQ sauce on the side so people can add it to their taste. The chili cheese fries were also mediocre. My husband ordered a plain cheeseburger and a LARGE French fry. He said the burger was "blah". As for the LARGE fries, I highly recommend ordering it for one person as it certainly was for one person. I can only imagine the maybe 5-8 or so (shoestring) fries that come on a small. We had high hopes for Burger Barn's food. Unfortunately, the food taste/quality did not make up for the poor customer service. read more

We were camping at a place called White Bridge Campground and decided to drive up by the lake. After walking thru the General Store (amazing), we walked right next door to the Burger Barn for a shake. But after noticing the Burger, Fries and Drink for $8.50, decided to give it a try. Wow! Honestly one of the best burgers that I've ever had. Nothing real special, just put together with fresh veggies and the right amount of everything....yummy! I also tried the real raspberry shake and it was delicious! We sat down under an awning in the shade and loved the hummingbirds that were all over the place and even fed some friendly chipmunks that came up to us. The scenery around the Burger Barn is amazing. If you ever find yourself by Panguitch Lake, Utah, do yourself a favor and stop at the Burger Barn and enjoy the experience, you won't regret it. read more

We stopped in with a big group of family and were super happy with our lunch! My daughter said it was the best pulled pork sandwich she had ever had. And she has had many! The mountain burgers were delicious, sweet potato fries were crispy, shakes were thick and yummy, and it was all reasonably priced for an out of the way location. Been coming here for many years. The place used to have tremendous burgers and Tri-tip sandwiches and a great reputation. . Then it closed last year and has since been reopened with new owners. These new folks must be having financial problems, because they have cut the sandwich content to the bare bones. The $9 tri-tip sandwich, that used to be on a hoagie roll with loads of tri-tip, now comes on a hot dog bun with about a dozen little pieces of tri-tip. not good. Lunch for 2 adults and a teenager, (one Tri-tip sandwich, a small pizza about 5 Inches in diameter with some cheese and a few slices of pepperoni, a chili-dog, with 3 cokes) was over $29. A rip-off and a shame. Additionally, we had to wait 45 minutes for the order. We wont be coming back., The few recent "great" reviews must be from FOF. read more

Wow! After a long trip of hiking this place seriously filled us up and the burgers and ribs were AMAZING! The Barn burger was the best tri tip burger/western burger I've EVER TASTED. After enjoying our meal, we got a visit for the owner to check up on how our food was. To experience the owner checking up on how his food was an amazing thing to see.
