Jalapeno bacon burger and curly fries
    Michael B.

Had a bacon jalapeno burger and curly fries. Both were excellent. It was too warm and stuffing inside, but outdoor seating was available, although it's right along highway 14 so you get all the road noise.

3 stars = A-OKAY We were in the area and decided to try their green chile cheeseburger. It was okay. I wouldn't recommend driving all the way from ABQ to get a burger here when there at such solid spots in ABQ (Eg: Santiago's on Eubank). There's sitting inside and outside. You order at the counter, take a number, and they bring you your food. Private parking lot available.

    Regular burger and large meal

I would definitely make a trip back here for a burger and fries!! The food was great and very tasty, i was starving and this definitely satisfied me and my partner! I ordered the regular cheese burger large meal and my partner ordered the jalapeño and bacon cheeseburger with fries. Both were so delicious and satisfied our hunger!! We stopped due to the construction but I am very happy we made the stop!! The customer service was great! The young male cashier was very friendly and helpful and the young lady that served our food was also very friendly and attentive! We will definitely be making a stop here every time!!! Thank you for the delicious food and the amazing service!!

We were looking for a local places to eat. This place completely filled the bill. It's the typical local place. The food was good and hit the spot. We had French toast, a wet burrito and some eggs. Everything tasted good. The sauce on the wet burrito was very good.

I don't know where to start if it was the outstanding customer service or the cook behind the grill making the delicious hamburger. The scenery is very beautiful out there and it is a nice family business but all I gotta say is that was the best green chili burger ever. !!!!! I highly recommend anyone driving past it. Stop and try it.

    BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger w/ fries

Little local diner outside of Albuquerque with some friendly kids running the place (and bathrooms if you need them.) Here's the menu showdown: BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger vs. Chile Relleno Burger Winner: BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger - its flavor edged out the Chile Relleno with a sauce that had a nice little kick and a couple of onion rings for crunch. Plus bacon, lettuce, American cheese, pickles, and fresh tomatoes. Fries vs. Fries Winner: Neither. We both ordered fries and I had immediate regrets when I saw someone else's onion rings. The fries had a texture problem and we weren't quite sure why. Summary: Burgers weren't the best - the patties were really dry - but the flavor was there. We would definitely give them another go but try something else...maybe breakfast?

We were headed back home from a hike and stopped by this little spot off the side of the road. My girlfriend has been here before, so she knew about restaurant beforehand. We got a BLT and a Chile Cheeseburger with green chilies. We sat behind the building where they had picnic tables, which was nice because our dobermam was with us. My girlfriend loved her BLT and my burger hit the spot after our hike. The BLT had enough bacon and I would say this is one of the better green chilie burgers I've had in a while. The fries were also super good, they were nice and thick, crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. The staff was super nice. We would definitely recommend this spot.

I remember hearing about this place long before Covid was a thing. The funny thing is I rarely find myself on that side of the mountain. Today I decided to head up to the crest and stopped in for some lunch before taking the long winding road up there. The staff was very welcoming. I will be honest I did not expect it to be busy. Needless to say I was in for a surprise. I settled with a double chili burger with a drink and fries. 20 bucks was the damage. After a long 30 min wait I was greeted by a mammoth slapped between two buns. I took my first bite and I was mesmerized by the cheese and juiciness of the patties. That burger packs a punch. It was the 4th of July in my mouth exploding with deliciousness! The fries weren't bad either. You know at first I wasn't sure what to expect. Although the price seemed steep at first, I will say it was worth it! I heard they had a mushroom burger so you can bet I'll definitely be returning! Thanks Burger Boy!

This has to be my favorite burger spot so far in the Albuquerque/Sandia mountain area. The service was good and super friendly, and the barbershop is a small restaurant that caters to a quick bite if it is not busy. I got both the relleno burger and the green chile burger with double meat meat. The green chili burger has to be my favorite burger. I have had in Albuquerque. The relleno is a close second as it it was super cheesy and tasty. I will most definitely come here again!

Great burger and onion rings. Definitely worth the drive from Placitas. There's a reason why it gets so busy

Yo, my people I have return. I know it's been a while since I've done review, but there hasn't been anything worth writing about! Then I come across this little in the rough. With crispy cheese with melted burger was cooked, medium rare all the fixing on it we're good very polite staff. I'm super happy to have finally been able to try this establishment. I spent nine dollars. I open my bag expecting only a burger into my surprise a bag of chips too!

Wanted to love this family run business. We understand good food takes time, but 40 min for 2 burgers is just too long. They were large and looked great but we're dry. Not juicy at all. Maybe use a fattier meat! They looked beautiful and we're huge. One Chili, cheese burger (not too many chilies) and one chili relleno burger which had huge potential. Only a small slice of relleno with cheese not the whole thing which was way disappointing. Onion rings standard with a tempura style breading vs bread crumb. Fries standard. Friendly service and owner on-site which is always nice to see. Lunch was on the expensive at $35. Wife's combo onion ring / drink addition was $6.70 xtra. Cashier gave the impression there was no up charge for o-rings. I am rooting for this place because it is Patriotic, Americana with hard working people. Give them a shot.

The venue boasts this incredibly charming, traditional Mexican exterior, but inside lies the most brilliant, high-concept fusion of Mediterranean and Mexican influences. The design choices are utterly inspired, creating a space that feels both vibrant and beautifully curated. Now, let's talk about the concept because it is a total masterclass in bespoke dining. They feature an exquisite display of fresh meats, artisanal sausages, and meatballs you simply select your precise desires and hand them over to be cooked to order! The level of attentive, personalized service was nothing short of magnificent. Frankly, the only other place I've experienced this caliber of hospitality is the legendary Red Rock Deli. It was such a refreshing, novel treat! I selected a gorgeous array of meatballs and premium ham. The kitchen absolutely transformed them, pairing the meatballs with beautifully prepared eggplant. By the time they presented it alongside two divine Stuffed Cabbage Rolls and warm, artisanal bread, I was entirely enchanted.

There are no fountain drinks only cans/bottles. All that said, like I said, the meats were delicious. The potato salad with dill was delicious. The Eastern European market stuff was fun and I saw a lot of things I want to go back and get. There's a lot of cool polish stuff on the walls.
