Chili cheese dog with fries
Todd R.

It inside the Valero gas station. I seem to remember it was a steak in the rough. Don't know how long this location has been a Laguna Burger but staff here are as rude as the 12 st. Location. There are TVs on the wall and music playing, it makes the experience better. Fries were very good dog was okay. I don't know if I'll come back to this location but I wind give up in Laguna Burger.

I don't know what it is about this place but I absolutely loved it, everything is so great here. I remember the first time going here, the food is amazing the customer service was absolutely spectacular. All around this place is one of my favorite, from the location at Route 66 casino to the one off of the 40 and the one at ladditutes and to the ones I've never been to before. Spectacular food definitely recommend any of the burgers from there, don't even get me started on the fries.

The Laguna Burger - half-pound, green chile and cheese
Tommy P.

Good burger, as expected at an outlet of Laguna Burger. Not the greatest green chile cheeseburger I've ever had, but solidly good. Prices are what you expect for a half-pound specialty burger by an upscale mass fast food outlet these days. Chile had some piquancy and burger was cooked a little more well than I like but was not dry. It's an order-at-the-counter/tip/they-bring-it-to-you-after-giving-you-a-number place. The woman who took my order was polite and the woman who delivered my food was friendly. Drinks are "get your own from the soda fountain" (they also have shakes). Fries look cut on site and were not crispy enough to tempt me when my friend offered me some of his. The room is weird: it's a gas station - honestly, it's a remarkable gas station - more of a rest stop, with decent rest rooms, all manner of things to eat for sale and a pretty well stocked liquor store. And Rio Rancho Laguna Burger is one corner of it, a couple little pen/corrals staked out with some low and high tables (and there's also a burger bar). Parking is kind of a bear, but you'll find some - it's weird to see a popular (and it IS popular) rest stop right in the middle of a city. Trash (bus yourself, but they do come through and clean every once in a while - not instantly upon a party's departure, though) is convenient but the tables are kinda squashed together; you have to watch out for tripping over your neighbor's chair or the stuff he has piled next to it. So . . . Rio Rancho Laguna Burger is good. It's not great - the room and service are perhaps on the lower side of good, but the burger and its value are solidly good.

Little egg that is burnt and non existent sausage or cheese

This location doesn't make the breakfast burritos cook to order. Which was a shock and is very problematic. They get put under a heat lamp to rot where the tortilla gets soggy and gross! $8 for essentially a gas station premade warmed up burrito is not worth it! The i40 location is always spot on! Please have their cooks train this location as the burrito filling is just sad. There is little to no egg or meat .

Big Bad Bacon Cheddar Burger, fries, and Dr.Pepper.
Robert H.

Having tried all Laguna Burger locations, I was excited to give them a try! Ordered the Big Bad Bacon Cheddar burger meal and was disappointed in the whole experience! From the long wait times, uncomfortable crammed space, quality of food, and pricing. I would not and could not recommend! Review based on the following: 1. Front menus were difficult to read 2. Self serve drink station was in an inconvenient location in front of line(felt rushed) 3. Long wait time for food 4. Burger was overcooked, dry, and tasteless. Fries barely undercooked and had starchy taste. 5. Pricing high for such low quality food. Would not recommend at this time.

It's not the same Laguna burger as in Laguna. They need more management oversight for quality control.

Nothing impressive. Go to Lotaburger, it's still local and cheaper and more unique. Laguna tastes like something I can make at home.

If you know where Hot Tamales is, go behind it and hit Upscale Rio! First of all, this place has so many options of what I'd call comfort food and everything is good! They have shakes, desserts, yummy starters, mac and cheese, burgers and much more! What's my favorite thing? So many items are gluten free!! Hallelujah!! Even the burgers can be ordered with a gluten free bun! We also had a super sweet waitress! I had to go gluten free last fall and it really cut down on us eating out as most places have little to no options. Here, MOST things are gluten free!! Like what you may ask? Well, today I had chicken fried chicken, green chile gravy, mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables- a medley of corn, Lima beans ,bell peppers and red onions. They use a gluten free rice flour and the batter on the chicken was crispy and delicious!! They are also super generous with their portions so I took half of my food home and can't wait for dinner! I also had a double chocolate shake and a cold brew. They proudly brew Whispering Bean Coffee which is super tasty! My husband had the Green Chile Chicken Pot Pie and really enjoyed it and ate every bite! My mother in law had the Basic Cheddar Burger with fresh cut fries and raved about it. She also had a Key Lime Pie Shake. No photo of this, sorry! They normally have a gluten free fruit cobbler but they were out. I'll be back to try that for sure! All I know is I found a place that has super tasty gluten free options that I can't find anywhere else. I love you Upscale Rio! I'll be sharing this with all my gluten free friends! See you soon!! XOXO

He walked away as I approached the counter. I was confused as I wasn't aware I had to order on the tablet on the counter. When I began using the tablet I was in search of the new mushroom burger they sent me an email yesterday about. Of course you know it's what I wanted to try. Sadly it wasn't on the menu on the tablet. When I called the employee for help I basically got the vibe he didn't want to be there and he was hesitant to approach. When he did come to the counter I asked about the burger even showed him the email to get told it's not out yet and it was coming soon. I found myself wondering why I even got the email if this was true. Needless to say the food came out really fast. I thought well that's good at least. The presentation was better than the experience. The cheese on the queso fries was pretty skimpy. There were way more fries than cheese which was disappointing. The burger I wasn't a fan of either. It needed more cheese and the stackers sauce tasted strange like it a chipotle sauce it wasn't the same as I recalled. I'm sad to say this is the second location I've had a bad experience with. It's really disappointing because I really loved this place. I guess I'll have to stick to the central food hall because so far that's the only location that hasn't disappointed me like this yet.

The sunrise burger is still one of hubby's favorites in the city, and the fries are incredible. I tried the High Point Mac & cheese (green chile mac w/steak sliced on top) and yowza. So much flavor, and the steak was perfectly tender. The restaurant has food nailed. And our server was amazing. Unfortunately, th manager did a poor job estimating how busy they'd be on a Friday night, so the two servers were running ragged. The manager pitched in, but they were playing catch up with the silverware and we had to wait for it when the food arrived. Which, no biggie, but it was a fork when I had steak and my husband had a messy burger. So we right away asked for knives. I pointed out my steak, and the manager got snarky with us like she got it. But then she brought us butter knives. When I got up and went to the bar to ask for a steak knife, her attitude was even faker. I don't abide fake when someone's eyes and mouth clearly say they think you're stupid or annoying or both. As a manager, you learn how to school your face and keep people happy or you don't last in management long. Also, if she miscalculated staffing, then it should have been her job to get into the bathrooms and keep them presentable. They weren't. Paper everywhere, and the walls need some serious touch ups. It's hard for people to trust the food safety if the job-food public areas aren't kept clean and well-maintained, you know? We'll be back because the food IS awesome and we always have an enjoyable meal. But they definitely need to turn an eye toward building upkeep and service.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND BREKKI BREKKI!!!…read more My colleague and I stopped in for a business breakfast this morning, and what a great decision that turned out to be. The food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Honestly, it couldn't have been any better. What elevated the experience to another level was our server, Taz. I've been in countless restaurants over the years, and every once in a while you come across someone who is simply exceptional at what they do. Taz was one of those people. She was warm, attentive, professional, engaging, and very cool. She seemed to genuinely enjoy taking care of her guests. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down and played a huge role in making our breakfast meeting such a great experience. Before leaving, I actually sought out the manager, Shelby, and asked who hired Taz because I was that impressed. Shelby told me she did, and I told her it was a fantastic hiring decision. Then I got to thinking, whoever hired Shelby deserves some credit too. It's clear there's a great team and culture here. The food brought us in, but Taz is the reason we'll be back. We'll absolutely be recommending Brekki Brekki to our friends, family, clients, and colleagues, and we're already looking forward to our next business breakfast here. THANK YOU SO MUCH TAZ!

I've tried some of the burger variations and they're delicious when you'd like a change. Salads are basic and the green chile stew is thin. The worst thing I can say is that one of the cashiers is way too assertive about soliciting tips at the register. Unprofessional, and rude when I finally decided not to tip her. That was a first for me! Especially since everyone else on staff is amazing! So Do give it a try. I've returned many times and am usually happy if I order only my favorite burger! One final note: the wait for a meal can be long at lunchtime, more than 30 minutes for a burger. The patio's gorgeous, though, so if you're socializing and not on a tight schedule, it's worth it!

My boyfriend said his fries weren't bad but nothing to write home about. We both enjoyed our burgers. Now I sent my boyfriend to go do a take out order. For my bacon burger I wanted the burger only, add mayo on the side and add red onion to the burger. When he comes back, I am missing the red onion and the mayo. I had to walk back to the location, stand at the register while being ignored by 4 employees, 3 "cooks" and 1 other employee seemed to be a plain front of house worker/waiter, until another 5th employee comes to the register. I had the take out bag on the counter so they could see I wasn't ordering anything new, just wanted to fix an incorrect order but no one greeted or acknowledged me. No one said one moment either. The girl who came to the register was sweet and asked the cooks for my onion on the side. When she joked with them about not putting onion on my burger the older woman cook blamed a new girl employee for the mistake. I then got 3 thin slices of red onion and the mayo packets and went on my way. I took a screenshot of the online prices for this location for some of the burgers because they are actually incorrect- by $2! Not very nice to see especially if a family is on a trip and let's say only had cash. Just be careful and check your orders and wait until you're IN the restaurant for pricing. (Completely forgot to take a photo of the menu put up in there.)

I knew Burger Boy from back in the Days of the great Bella Vista, Tinkertown, and etc., etc., along North 14 where I had lived back then. We were told, as we stepped in at 5:40 pm, by a clearly tired, grumpy counter girl, that: 'We are only doing Take Out," to us and the four people that came in behind us. I said, okay, I guess, and went on to order a double hamburger, and a regular burger with fries and drinks. She pointed at the cooler where their canned soda pop was, without another word. We got our 'drinks' and sat down to wait. The staff in the back was clearly miffed that people had shown up for service, too, as we heard stuff getting slammed around along with foul-mouthed whining from them, as we sat there watching and listening to the counter girl picking up and banging the chairs up onto the tables around us. Eighteen minutes later, we got the 35 dollar bag of food from her. The 'sandwiches' were garnished with chopped up lettuce, tomatoes, and onion mixed up in a goopy slather of mayo and ketchup. There was no salt on the fries or anything else on those bland over microwaved burger patties served on un-grilled hamburger buns. Exactly the Opposite of what I had known Burger Boy to be in the past. When I went up to try and return that stuff, the door was locked, and I was completely ignored even with the other four people still in there waiting. We were hungry, and I was done with that stupid place, so we left, and yes, we did eat that wretched meal. Obviously, I will never stop there again, and I will heep scorn upon that cruddy place any every chance I get for the rest of my days.
