    "Curly Seasoned" Waffle Fries
    Sal C.

I tried both the Bun cheeseburger and the Big Boss burger, along with waffle fries and jalapeño poppers. The waffle fries were actually really good, crispy, flavorful, and well seasoned, which stood out more than expected. The Big Boss burger was the highlight of the meal. It came with a quarter pound Angus beef patty, two slices of bacon, homemade Thousand Island style burger sauce, crispy fried onion rings, all on a soft buttery golden bun. Everything came together really well, and both the meat and the toppings were packed with flavor. The burger was honestly really delicious and super satisfying. The Bun cheeseburger was simple and solid with great flavor and a good bun that held everything together nicely. The jalapeño poppers were fine, but nothing too special. They were average compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, the burgers were the main reason to come here and they were good in size for the price!

Well from the start the staff is above and beyond! As you come in your greeted and recommended various options depending your mood. They had burgers, fries, wings, Mexican & Greek and I was like wow that's awesome cause variety of options is a good thing. I forgot the burger I ordered but they recently won an award for it and boy was it delicious, juicy thick fresh homemade patties with sting fries that are fried in that old school beef tallow oil cooked & seasoned to perfection! The dining area was so nice with their neon lights and the place was super clean and very calm with good tunes playing. Just know you'll pay a pretty penny but you're paying for amazing quality food, and good service well worth it! I shall return soon thank you

Big burgers with a nice secret sauce. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. My kids are super picky eaters and they ate up their burgers. Fries were solid and were hot and crispy. Loved the hot honey ketchup. The ambiance was fun with plant and birds decor. Parking was super easy too.

I really love walking into this place and being greeted with a genuine smile and a how are you! The owner(?) always treats us well, checks in on us and makes us feel welcomed. But lemme talk about the burgers for a sec. they're absolutely Phenomenal. nothing pretentious or try hard, just quality meat, fresh crisp produce and that first burger bite that makes you slink back into your seat. come by and be taken in by the good vibes, lush greenery, friendly folks and burgers you won't forget.

This is a small and cozy place for a little lunch. The cashier greeted us helped us choose our burger. He was very nice and friendly. The burger was good could have had a little bit more seasoning on it. They did have pepper and seasoning salt at the table. Sweet potato fries and drinks were good

Absolute hidden gem! Small and quaint place in a small strip mall. You would honestly miss it if you weren't looking for it. Can't help but notice the forest decor with the birds on the wall too. After a strenuous hike, there's nothing like getting a delicious burger. Finding this place was a perfect match. Zac had great energy and personable customer service. Attentive and respectful. Convinced me to get the Triple Chef burger; after all, he said that was their award winning burger. Freshly grounded, packed, and seasoned wagyu patties, double cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato's, and pickles. Glorified In N Out, but homemade. Definitely recommend this anytime you go. You bet I will be back here to try more!

Whenever I want a really nice hefty cheeseburger, I find myself ordering from Burger Bun. Their angus beef patties are made with premium quality. The bacon is also nice and thick and doesn't crumble when you take your bites as some other places do. You absolutely have to try the Supreme Carne Asada Fries - it's loaded with topping and they definitely don't hold back with their ingredients. Tonight tho I just felt like regular fries and onion rings - both nice and crispy. They've been my go to burger joint for probably last 10 years! Give them a try. Won't be disappointed.

The food was absolutely delicious. If you're wondering whether to get the pastrami burger or the sandwich.. I say get the sandwich. The burger patty does overpower its flavor from the pastrami. To get the full pastrami flavor you must get the sandwich. Pastrami was flavorful. Other burgers were delicious. Service was fast. The employees went above and beyond. Gave us an assortment of sauces to try. The homemade buttermilk ranch was delicious as was the thousand island sauce. Ambiance was nice. Beautiful back drop and the music wasn't too loud. Would definitely come back.

Is their whole menu Halal or partially it's Halal? If partially, do we need to specify we are eating Halal? Thank you!

It's partly halal - my experience with the halal begins and ends with the meat, but they add more options all the time. They're really friendly in the shop, I'm sure they could answer your question better!

That's not all, tip will also be requested when checking out. Our Visit: My family and I have visited Elena's before and had a good experience, which is why this visit was so disappointing. This time, we noticed a clear drop in food quality, portion sizes, overall service and an unexpected new surprise on the bill. I came in with my wife, our two young children (10month old and 2 year old), and my mom. Unfortunately, the pita bread was stale, a portion of my wife's chicken was undercooked, the portions were noticeably smaller than before, and the server completely forgot my mom's drink. Those issues alone were frustrating, but what really stood out were the added fees at the end, fees that were not charged in the past. We were charged a 20% "large party fee", along with an additional "service fee". When I spoke with the owner, he explained that their system automatically applies a large party charge to any group of 4 or more people, including babies who don't even order food. That threshold seems unusually low, especially since most places consider 6 or more a "large party" and from my experience typically don't consider babies 2 years and younger as occupants. Even more concerning, none of these fees were clearly communicated to us beforehand. Being surprised with multiple charges at the end of a meal feels misleading and leaves a bad impression. To add to that, after already including these fees, the payment process still prompts customers to leave an additional tip. I've only seen this type of fee structure at higher-end restaurants and for more people, not at a casual spot like this, and even then it's usually disclosed upfront. If a business is going to charge extra, the service and overall experience should reflect that. My recommendation for Elena's, if you want to make more money, just raise your food prices so your customers at least know how much they're going to spend at the end. Not slap surprise charges at the end and force your customers to pay. On a positive note, at least they were playing Fast and the Furious on their TV. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL. Please be aware of their shady business practices.

But it is without question the most important Armenian restaurant in the world. Armenians are simultaneously a diaspora people, a people of the book, and an old country people. Therefore, odd as it may seem, it is entirely appropriate that the most important Armenian restaurant in the world should not be located in Armenia at all, but should serve a diaspora community in a way that makes them feel connected to home, both interns of cuisine and in terms of communal warmth. Technically, this is more of a Lebanese restaurant than an Armenian restaurant, but that hardly matters. It's a place of celebration, merriment, laughter, and tears. In short, it is THE gathering place for Armenians in Southern California. Because of its fame and importance, the thing that is consistently overlooked about this restaurant is just how excellent the food is. Bring a Lebanese expat here and you will invariably hear them say after the first bite of hummus that it doesn't compare to the hummus they used to enjoy in Beirut. By the middle of the bowl, they will say that it actually is not as bad as they first thought. By the end of the bowl they will declare that this hummus ranks among the greatest they have ever tasted. Carousel does not overwhelm you. It seduces you. And you'll be back.

Found Salt and Olive down the street and we really enjoyed our meals. The restaurant is very nice and comfortable. We sat on the patio and got our menus right away. Water came right after that. It was between lunch and dinner time and there was just one person taking orders. It took a while to get our order placed, but the food came out shortly after that. The restaurant is very comfortable with a good amount of tables. The menu is pretty thorough and offers a lot of options. We went with a chicken wrap and a chicken kabob plate. Both dishes were cooked correctly, lots of flavor and presented well. The chicken was flavorful, and were good size pieces. The rice was very fluffy and had a nice flavor as well. The salad was basically just a salad. Not a lot to say about it. We were both full and happy when we were done with the meal. There is a parking lot that you can get your ticket validated for 90 minutes. We were lucky and found street parking very nearby. For the price, this is a good place. Not very pricey, it is a pretty good value. I did not get around to ordering any Baklava, but I saw a plate come out and I need to be sure to order it next time. It looked so good.

TLDR: Hear me out, if you have any doubt about chicken being less superior to beef or other meat. TRY the chicken thigh here. It makes justice for chickens (I still need to try their beef or lamb tho) I was running errands in Glendale today and I was starving and looking for lunch spots around. Turns out Mini Kabob was 3 mins walk away, it was a no brainer, my feet just took me there. Didn't expect to go there, so didn't order ahead but I'm fine with waiting. After last time's magnificent chicken thigh, I was determined to try their other entrees. However, Armen said the chicken thigh is the best seller out of their entrees- well, time for a round 2 I guess? This time I'm eating the entree at the spot and I just gotta say- IT SLAPS!! I'm genuinely not a big fan of chicken, because when you can choose beef why chicken? But this chicken is so juicy, so tender, so heavenly. Yummy!! The garlic sauce is great but the hummus and the fresh lavash, h o l y - f. Last time it was already so good even as a leftover, and eating it right at the spot is just transcending. I also tried their Armenian pear soda, it's delicious and refreshing with the heat right now in summer. I left with my tummy happy and their service is always great, they get busy but still no attitude, no bs, gives the right recommendations. Even this is like a take out restaurant, it still surpasses most of the kabob restaurant. Without doubt I'm coming back again after their break, please be there. I love you mini kabob
