Conveniently located 5min or less from my house this little burger joint is perfect for my "there's no dinner made, I just got off work, we need something on the way home" stops. We had a cheeseburger with cheese fries and sweet potato fries both were good, the food is made to order so don't expect McDonalds quickness, this is fresh stuff (sauces made in house too) and the food is hot off the grill. I'm definitely going to try to carne asada fries or tacos next time, the meat in the burger was great quality none of that fatty stuff so I'm almost certain that I'll enjoy. Til next time!!! Okay, so I was a bit skeptical of this place as I walked in the door. It doesn't look like your topical burger joint with lime green walls, cartoon looking cutouts of ice cream cones and these crazy looking lava lamp looking light fixtures hanging from the ceiling. The was also completely empty as I went in and took my time at the menu board. Turns out I'm glad I went in and ordered food. I got a hot dog, fries and a coke and it was quite good!! They fries were seasoned which made them even better. Also, as I was sitting there eating my food several customers can in ordering different items like fried zucchini, burgers and hit fudge Sundays. They all looked good and everyone seemed happy with their orders. This place was a delightful surprise!! I don't get to Glendale much but I would be happy to come back and try something else. This place is a good local spot if you're craving burgers, which also doubles as a Mexican spot. Staff is friendly and food was done and ready on time from when I called in my order. I got the pastrami burger combo for myself and a mushroom burger for my girlfriend. They were up to expectations: solid, juicy and tasty. We thought the mushroom burger was better of the 2 but they were both great. I also like the fact that there were many options for dipping sauces for the fries. The burger was also a good size and very filling. In fact, the burger and fries together were a little too much. I was so full and couldn't finish it all. The fries were typical diner style fries and tasty as well. My friend got a beef burger and he enjoyed it as well. The service was average but you expect that when theres only a couple of people working in an establishment. The food didn't take too long, about 10 minutes. This place has really great food and excellent service. They have good quality burgers, salads, Mexican food and an ice cream bar. I got the Kobe burger and my wife got the mushroom burger and we both loved them. The fries were nicely seasoned. We didn't have any ice cream but it's Dreyers and looked good. Not sure how Burger Bun has 4.5 stars... I always think that places are stacking their reviews with not the most accurate reviews. My Dad is a real deal cheeseburger connoisseur, we try at least one new burger place every week. BB was good, not spectacular or special. Tried this place today based on the 4.5 stars it currently has and I must say I was utterly disappointed. It definitely does not live up to the 4.5 stars and I'm shocked that Yelp has it wrong after 300+ reviews. This place is no different from any local "burger" place that uses frozen patties. FOOD: I got their gourmet "wagyu" beef burger combo and got a regular cheeseburger for my kids. The cheeseburger was just your regular frozen patty that you can get a Jim's Burger or the likes. Their gourmet beef wasn't any better. A quarter pounder from McDonald's or a cheeseburger from In-N-Out are way better burgers and much tastier as well. The seasoned fries were just whatever, nothing special. I seriously do understand why this place has so many good reviews based on the food I ate. SERVICE: Service was great. Just had the triple decker mushroom burger with bacon... It's HUGE! I could barely bite into it. Easily weighed over a pound and it was delicious. The patties were very thick. For example, three patties here are equivalent to about 6-7 patties at in n out if you were to stack them up next to eachother lol. Sorry, I crack myself up with my weird comparisons sometimes. I never knew this place was here but Yelp saved the day again and pointed me to the plaza it's located at we agreed to try it out. The prices were decent; a burger, fries and drink for a reasonable amount and in the end it was more satisfying than if we had gone to a fast food joint down the street. The burger was probably a frozen patty, but didn't care at all, I'm not a big fan of these artisan "custom" burger places popping up all over. Fries were nice, crispy, and seasoned well.
