When you arrive, you go through the restaurant first and you are able to seat yourselves then wait until a server notices to drop off menus and take your order. The menu can be a bit confusing as they have some drink items on the regular menu and a secret menu and limited menu with food or dessert on the drink menu. It took a little bit to get noticed but we got a Hogwash potion and a Yoshi's Island for drinks as we had just had dinner elsewhere as the food prices here a bit much and not worth price but their video game or other nerdy themed drinks which some can be mocktails are fantastic. My boyfriend's Hogwash potion didn't take long and it was cool to see it opened with vapors coming out. My drink took much more time but it felt like it was more ice than anything as I felt like I had maybe four sips before it was all good. The trivia was great but they were having mic issues but it was also just hard to hear the host as we were sitting on the opposite end of where the host was. There are TVs that have the questions so that was very helpful. The service here is friendly but it would have been nice to be checked on more as I wanted to order another drink but their loss, I suppose. My boyfriend and I ended up getting first place but I'm also a little sad cause I didn't see a way to get points for our order today as I know they have a Toast reward system.

The parking lot was completely full, so after circling around and eventually finding street parking, we figured the place must be popular. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the high point of the experience. The main restaurant was fairly full, so we were seated in a large, dark bar area in the back. And then... nothing happened. For more than 30 minutes. Eventually, a waiter appeared and took our order. Then another 30+ minutes passed before the food arrived. Somehow, even our iced tea didn't make it to the table until the food did. All told, we spent roughly an hour sitting at an empty table without so much as a beverage, and about 90 minutes from the time we arrived until we actually had food in front of us. At that point, the whole experience was becoming almost comical. We ordered a cod burger with fries, a Caesar salad, onion rings and an iced tea. The cod burger was okay. Nothing memorable, but edible. The Caesar salad was actually good. The fries, however, arrived cold, soggy and thoroughly greasy -- quite an accomplishment considering how long we waited for them. The onion rings apparently embarked on a separate journey altogether, because they never arrived. By then, we'd lost the will to ask about them and just gave up. The grand total for one cod burger with cold fries, a small Caesar salad and an iced tea? $40.00! We mentioned the long wait, forgotten food and other problems to our waiter. He was sympathetic and explained that they were short staffed, which we understand can make things difficult. But being short staffed doesn't make a 90-minute lunch, no drinks for an hour, cold soggy fries and forgotten food any less disappointing -- especially at those prices. By the end, we weren't even angry. The whole thing had crossed over into comedy. Needless to say, on future drives between Oregon and Seattle, we'll be finding a different midway lunch stop.

Great service, great burgers, I mean really great burgers and great prices!!! So well worth the walk across the parking lot from Great Wolf Lodge. The burgers and breakfast are ultra fresh, non greasy and the prices are good! Staff super friendly, especially the managers, they remember you and give you 5% discount when staying at GWL. The place is very, very clean, contrary to another review I read. These guys even wipe out the INSIDE of their garbage bins, talk about being freaking clean! The washrooms are SPOTLESS and the atmosphere is homey and relaxed. We ate there twice a day during our 4 day GWL stay and we highly recommend it compared to the overpriced, mediocre food you get at GWL. Joe had the 1 pound Shaft Burger and could of easily ate another...tasty! I recommend the Bacon and Mushroom Burger, best burger I evah had...really! The only thing is that they do not serve are more veggie options but hey, they are called Burger Claim and their burgers are their fame. Try these guys, you will not be disappointed!!! read more

All of our orders and requests came out correct, and she still stopped by to check on us in a timely manner. We never felt forgotten even though she was clearly busy. We ordered a basket of fries for everyone to share while waiting for our food and OMG THE RANCH. We don't know what they do to their ranch here but it was SO GOOD. You have to try it!! Everyone at the table agreed that their food was delicious. Ironically, I didn't even order breakfast lol. I got the fish & chips and they were spectacular! The batter was nice and crispy while the fish inside was perfectly flaky. The tartar sauce was really good with it too. And the portions are HUGE. I couldn't even finish mine and ended up taking the rest home to eat for dinner later, so I basically got two meals out of it. When we first walked in, it felt like a classic diner. And it is! In all the good ways. The diner is clean, the coffee is hot and flavorful, and the portions are generous. The bacon was crisp, just how I had ordered it, not limp, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Our server was Shawna, and she was personable and perfectly attentive. An added bonus: there are glass partitions between the booths. It really helps keep the noise level down. This was much appreciated and I wish more restaurants would do this. Huge parking lot since this looks to be an up and coming event center considering the business also does catering. We were quickly greeted by a very friendly and informative lady. It is nice to have the to go containers as most people might have leftovers, but we would have liked to seen reusable tableware. The Taco Salad was different than most others I have had. The chicken was nicely grilled. The tortilla strips were very thin and appeared to be hand cut then fried, making for a nice crunch. The cheese was grated farmhouse style. I did kind of expect that the housemade salsa would be served with this, but it had a cream lime dressing. The salad was a good size. Addition of avocado would have been divine. The Thai noodles were non traditional. The lemon grass was a bit on the heavy side. They have some alcoholic beverages that are sold by the can. Hopefully this can be addressed for future customers. I'm seeing some other reviews below that seem to be referencing negative experiences with the same person at the counter. The service is always friendly and attentive Ambiance is comfortable and relaxed And the restaurant is clean. They are always busy, which speaks to their excellence. (parties of 6 or more would do well to call ahead, just to be safe) This is a family owned business, and it feels like it. The pride, dedication, and effort that is put in every single day. It is commendable. Being a small business owner is not easy day in and day out, but they make it look easy. Like they say, love what you do, and you will never work a day in your life. I think the folks at Shipwreck truly love what they do. They are always smiling, always have a friendly greeting. We have never had the pleasure of enjoying their dinners, but their lunch and breakfasts are delicious, and you will never leave hungry. The place was bustling but not packed, yet it took an HOUR to get our burgers. Burgers. If you're cooking on a flat top they should be pumping out a dozen at a time. They were being cooked *two* at a time. The fries had clearly not been timed correctly because although the burgers were nice and hot, the fries were rock hard and cold. Overall the burgers were good but not even remotely worth the wait. I won't be back. (I *will* go back to The Bus Stop, but will stick to their pizza which was very yummy and came out quickly)
