The staff were wonderful and very helpful. They explained the menu, offer great suggestions and shared all the specials. They even changed the TV channels on 2 different TVs...one to football, and the other to a movie. Food was fantastic. Onion rings were the best I have had anywhere in a long time. Tater tots were very good too. The macaroni burger was unique. I would order it again. Bacon cheese burger was enjoyed by the kids and my wife enjoyed the philly burger. Top knot burgers!!!!! And where else can you get 2lbs of Tater tots? Kids sized fish sandwich was delicious! Walking distance from the Great Wolf for even the most worn out kid and you get a discount for staying at the lodge. The kids loved having the leftover tots late at night. The food was great! Don't be fooled by it being next to the gas station. Very clean, portions are large, prices are great, I say try it even with People with food restrictions!! Really great place to eat. Good food and lots of it. It was my sons 6th birthday and they treated him to an ice cream and dressed it all up for him. They were also very friendly at the register and patient with us while we ordered food for our 4 kids. The food came out quickly and the fry sauce was quite tasty. Thanks for the good experience. Good food but holy shit I have been in the drive through line for 45 minutes and they just now took my money. No one was in the drive through when I came I have been the only one here for over 20 minutes. And I don't think there are many people inside. This was my first visit here and was ecstatic they offer gluten free hamburger buns. I ordered the gluten free chicken burger with mushrooms & bacon, but stressed no Swiss cheese for my lactose issues 2 times and order taker repeated correct order twice, but waited over 10 minutes, got order and burger had the cheese on it. They were quick to remake sandwich and it was done correctly. The folks were apologetic for the error. The sandwich was AMAZING though, good size, great taste and very filling. Walked over from Great Wolf, it's very close and an easy walk. I have to Peanut Allergic kids. I asked the cook if they used any peanut oil, his response was allergy friendly "no way, to many allergies out there". Then after we ordered I seen their peanut butter burger, which alarmed me, and upon asking for it I got a very good response about the separate way they store and prepare them, due to allergies! Nothing impressive! Upon arrival the decor was decked out with a mining theme cabin, where the menu is placed on top by of the cashier. I ordered the fish burger, and I asked for tarter sauce on the side. The cashier failed. My fish burger was smothered in it. A simple task seems impossible with this place. Everyone around us face some kind of mishap from rotten apple juice to cheese on a hamburger and missing items. So if you have the patience to deal with this kind if BS then head on over to Burger Claim, where the chances of them getting your order right is slim, with a side of greasy food. Kinda torn here. We are on spring break with the kids, and we decided to do a short visit at the grand Wolf Lodge next-door to this establishment. You walk in, and noticed that it's a good feel of a minor's cave, which is great. They have a pretty easy selection of burgers and salads, and more than just a handful of menu items for the kids. We ordered and took a seat at a corner booth. Later did we realize that there was no power except for the necessities which was probably ran by generators. It wasn't too bad, however looking for the bathroom was a little bit more challenging. By the time we were finishing our last few bites, one of the staff members handed us a lantern. All of our food came with french fries, but you are able to substitute with a few other things as well if you wish. The sweet potato fries weren't amazing, and I felt that our burger was a little bit dry. I will have to say though, that I gave this establishment at three, merely because of the food. This staff felt more as if they were trying to rush us, and Stacy, seemed as if she was a robot and not someone of customer service. At the end, my has been thought the milkshake they made was probably the only thing he really truly enjoyed about the food. read more
