I was very skeptical on this place. it's a neat little restaurant, order at the counter kinda place. we had breakfast. the eggs were cooked very well, hasbrowns are unseasoned, pancakes were decent, and the bacon is salty. the sausage is good. the prices are cheap and if you're staying at great wolf it's an additional 5%off. only thing I did not like way that they use american cheese on the breakfast sandwich. bit that's my deal. i don't like that cheese just because I'm an adult now, and I know what real cheese tastes like. As we sat there swatting flies away at the table, listening to modern country music, our number was called. The fries were not on the order even though they were ordered. The food: Greasy buns, dry and way overcooked meat, (maybe that was necessary) not so tasty and they were stingy with what goes inside. 75 % of our food was left, GREAT WAY TO DIET! Y'all, this place is great. My family and I stopped in here for lunch before heading home from our stay at the nearby family-oriented hotel experience. It's literally across the parking lot, definitely walking distance (please note, they request no wet swim suits inside!). I have a lot of food sensitivities, and normally I'm great at asking about ingredients. This time I wasn't, but they noticed that I ordered my burger without a bun and came to ask me about it since something else I had ordered also contained gluten. I am blown away by that level of customer service! All that aside, the prices are very reasonable, the portion sizes are great, and the food is delicious. We had to stop by Great Wolf Lodge because I had to get a gift card for my organization. Anyways my son in the car with me saw the pickaxes out front and just had to touch them being a huge fan of Minecraft. It was around Lunch time so we decided to give this place a go. First off the place is not bad! The prices were good and the food was pretty good. The booths were clean and the staff was polite and fast. All in all, it's a burger joint that is good. If you're staying at Great Wolf Lodge, it is definitely a better deal and arguably better food than you'll get at the water park. They do have a first responder and military discount so that's nice. Burger claim is conveniently located right next to Great Wolf Lodge, so if you want a great meal without paying hotel prices, this is an easy walk across the parking lot. I went for breakfast with the kiddo and we really enjoyed the miner's mountain - a delicious pile of hash browns, eggs, ham, and cheese. On my way to Portland and all I wanted was a good burger. My family and I stopped here based on good reviews. We went through the Drive Thru. My advice is to not even bother going through the Drive Thru as it seems that the service is slower this way. The moment I pulled up to the drive-thru intercom, the employee asked to take my order. When I was halfway giving her my order, she immediately interrupt and tells (not ask) me to wait. I sat in front of the intercom in silence for at least 5 minutes and had to repeat all of my orders again. Then, I waited an additional 15 minutes at the Drive-thru window for my food. I drove off and realized they left out my daughters kid's meal. I didn't even bother turning the car around due to the long wait time and I was already on the freeway. I love bar food -- where everything is a tad salty and a tad greasy. However, every burger we had today at Burger Claim was overly salty. I'm sure whoever was in the kitchen today "let the salt shaker loose." The food was decent, but the slow and little-to-no service is not worth returning. I came here based off the reviews on yelp. First they have a pretty extensive menu and some pretty interesting combinations for burger creations so that's a plus. The prices are pretty steep and the portions are pretty decent. The food was ok. My regular cheese burger was very very greasy. The fries are normal fries although they have a variety of fries and other sides. My wife had the chili cheese burger and it was good as well. This place is located in the same parking lot of the great wolf lodge so be prepared to pay tourist prices. Overall the place was decent. I give it two stars because it is simply just too expensive and the taste is only mediocre at best. It's not bad but it's nothing to write home about. Affordable, filling, and delicious. On a mini-vacation at Great Wolf Lodge in Centralia, WA and nearly fainted at the cost of food in the lodge. Fortunately we had overheard of (and noticed on our way in) Burger Claim right next door. In our rooms we also found a menu for Burger Claim and the food they offfered. It was simply calling to us to try it out. We walked in for breakfast and quickly realized this little roadside stop was more than it appeared. From the entry, you're greated by a welcoming simple design - late western town, during a gold rush. From the imitation shotgun shell lights, to the bubbled lamp fixtures, the whole place felt like it was designed with passion and stuck tk the core theme. The menu... oh, the menu... so many good options. My wife and I ordered the Breakfast Burritos (on special), while we got each of our kids the Chuck Wagon Meals (ordered as full or 1/2 plate). The options for breakfast were simple, but full of flavor. Our breakfast burritos were ordered with sausage and bacon, mixed with eggs, hash browns, and bell peppers. An absolute mouthful of flavor! Our kids each received a sausage patty, eggs, bisket, and either hash browns or pancakes (one had hash, other had pancakes) The pankcakes were warm and fluffy, the eggs served by request (one child wanted scrambled, the other wanted over-medium) and the sausage was warm and juicy. Drinks were your typical fountain style, but made things easy to decide between soda, tea, milk, tea, coffee or water. The key element that sold me on this place, was that everything was made fresh to order, right in front of you. By far, a better meal than your traditional microwaved (made fresh) stops. Overall, the entire meal cost us $40 (including tax and tip)... which was $30 cheaper than the overall cost of similar smaller meals at the lodge. They take fresh dates, grind them up, freeze them and mix them in vanilla ice cream. It was kind of spendy and hard to taste the dates. You do get 5% off if you're staying at Great Wolf Lodge. Not sure why I'm only just finding about this spectacular burger joint!!! This place is a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back! I think it's neat they have a drive-thru. Definitely a smart move especially if you are on the road and don't have time to sit and dine. That was the case with me and my boyfriend.
