Stopped in on way home from Seattle to Portland based on rating. Ordered the peanut butter burger and added jalapeño. Tasty, well cooked, good bun. Would get again. Had onion rings that became soggy after several minutes. Don't think they were homemade so maybe being frozen and not fried long enough? Washed down with a smooth chocolate malt. Overall I would come back Update: 2nd trip was not as good as first but not so bad that I'd lower the rating. We tried the Jalapeño popper burger I rate it a very high 9 out of 10, it was tasty and the poppers were Spot on!!! The Bacon cheeseburger I rated an 8 out of 10. Good but I've had better. I'd love to give this place 5 stars but the chili cheese fries were NOT good. The fries were baked and a snidge undercooked and the chili tasted like can chili. I didn't like them. This location is right next door to Great Wolf Lodge and they really do a nice job. My family and I were visiting for my son's birthday, and Great Wolf is really only suitable for larger groups. Burger Claim saved the day. I messaged Alisha about options knowing nothing about this chain and never having seen or been to one- we found them on Google. We were told they have a separate room for events and that they would set it aside for us. While the outside of the space was not awe inspiring the restaurant was clean, the staff was kind, accommodating some challenging dietary needs, and the event room was great- lots of tables, seating and options for setup. They even let us come and decorate- and bring our own cake! 100% would recommend. They even have separate plating for those with a gluten intolerance. A far better dining experience than Great Wolf, whether you're on a budget or not. read more

We pulled up and ordered a double cheese burger, no tomatoes, no side. We ordered a second regular cheeseburger with a veggie patty and side of fries, 2 tarter sauces. She said 'so do you want one veggie Patty and one meat Patty on the burger?' I said no, we want to separate burgers and repeated the order slowly. She giggled "oh oh oh got it". We wait 8 minutes and we asked if she got both burgers when she opened the window since it was $13 and some change. She said no, just one burger. ‍ She said if we want to wait for another one we can pull around front and they'll get us one. We didn't have time to wait so I said no thanks. She was super rude about it. She hands us the container and shut the window before we even pulled out and so we head off. We pull out to the street and realize she hadn't handed us our card back. We open the container and the burger isn't even right. She didn't have tomatoes on it... there was no tomatoes on the first burger we never got, not the second. There was no tarter sauce either. We turn around the get the card and a different woman was very polite, but then a man said "oh those are the people that left their card?" Nope. We're the people that didn't get their card back. HORRIBLE service. We went here when Great Wolf Lodge first opened and had a super bad experience, said we'd never go back... but thought enough time has passed. The food. Gross. The food is great,BUT was not happy with the order i understand the busy part of the business but there really has to be some kind of Organisation . When we got our order the order was messed up and missing part of our order,then come to realize we added bacon to the double burger and there was no bacon. This actually hurts to post...but it's necessary. I'm head over heels for their burgers and fries! While waiting for our phone order, a man walked in with his 2 sons, none of whom were wearing mask. None of the staff seemed to be bothered by this. The sign on the tent in front of the restaurant, on the front door, on the wall leading up to the front counter and in the plexiglass at the front counter said masks are required. Thank you for posting notices, now all that needs to be done is enforcement. I feel as if there is fear that if customers are turned away for this they won't return. Delish!!! (Other than the onion rings) Came across the parking lot on a whim from over at great wolf lodge after hearing the food in the lodge wasn't great. Our group had a mix of dishes. Kids enjoyed the crispy chicken burgers and cheese burger. Adults really enjoyed various burgers, Cesar salad and taco salad. Points of feedback: - yam fries should automatically come with an aioli/dipping sauce. We had to go back up to the till and ask. They gave us their house burger sauce to dip in which was incredible. - onion rings were inedible. They were hot as lava when they first came out and by the time they were safe to eat, they were a strange texture and way too greasy. I think they were double or triple fried to end up like this. FYI - you walk in, order at the till like fast food, and go find your table. There are no servers out in the restaurant area, so it's self serve, but ingredients are fresh and it's a good value. Skip the food inside Great Wolf Lodge and go here for your burger needs!! It's just next to the gas station, that's next to GWL. They share the same parking lot so it's a matter of getting yourself dried up after that water rides or swimming sesh at the wave pool, cuz they do not allow wet swimming gears inside their restaurant. However, they do have a drive thru if you're soaked and want food, you can just hop in your rental car and order thru the window, ha! Word of advice, please only order one order of fries for a family of five, cuz they are freaken huge order! Garlic parm fries is the way to go! Both of our burgers are good. Before heading home with my family from Great Wolf Lodge (which is literally right next door to Burger Claim) we decided we needed to get some food. Based off of the outside, I couldn't tell if this was a sit-down kind of place, or your regular "order at the counter" deal. I guess you could say it was a mix of both, but you do have the option to-go. They even have a drive-thru, but knowing their process and knowing how long it takes to get everybody's food, I'm not sure that would be the best option for the impatient. Burger Claim grinds all of their meat, and makes all of their patties fresh. They also give you the option to do chicken burgers instead of beef. They have lots of things that you can add to your burgers, like avocados, jalapenos, etc. Ordering is definitely not easy for the indecisive. Not only does everything on their menu sound great, but it's a la carte style, so you have to order your side separate as well (all of their sides sound amazing, I was lucky enough to try four of them). I ended up being boring and just getting a 1/4 lb cheeseburger with no tomatoes, no lettuce, extra pickles. Note for those who like pickles: the pickles here are THIIICK. They're amazing. Get them. Get extra. Even though I started this off saying it was a boring order, it WASN'T. It was amazing. Better than any Dick's burger I'v ever had. It didn't leave me feeling like a greaseball and it satisfied my very American craving for that perfect cheeseburger. My family ordered: French Beef Dip, Bacon Mushroom Burger, and another cheeseburger. Everybody loved what they got and there were no complaints - which is rare. For sides, we tried the tater tots, loaded fries, onion rings, and regular fries. The tater tots were perfectly crispy but almost a little too salty for me. The onion rings were perfect as well, and I loved the batter they used. The regular fries were pretty good, but the loaded fries? Holy shit. The biggest order of loaded fries I've EVER SEEN. It was a meal in itself. It's slathered in cheese, bacon, green onions, and like a ranch/sour cream sauce. They were amazing. The service provided at Burger Claim is pretty great as well, and they are genuinely interested in making conversation with you rather than just taking your order and shooing you on. In talking, we learned that Burger Claim just got voted #5 Best Burger in Washington, which is pretty cool! This is definitely a place to come if you want hot delicious freshly made burgers and get away from the Great Wolf Lodge (trust me, after while you do). It's so close to the water park so no need to get into your car. They give you a 5% discount if you tell them that you're staying at Great Wolf. So you order at the counter and pick up there too. There's pretty limited seating but when we went, it wasn't too busy for lunchtime so we had an easy time finding seating. They have a kids menu and your kidling will be able to find something on it. You can order a sandwich only or a meal combo for a couple bucks more. The adults had the Sirarcha burger and the mushroom swiss burger. The burgers come in 1/4 lb and 1/2 lb, 1/4 lb was plenty for me. I like things spicy but actually liked the mushroom burger more. The jalapeno, sauteed onion and the pepper sauce seemed too messy for me and was actually not as spicy as I was hoping. The burgers come solo so we added sweet potato fries and onion rings. The onion rings were a bit too greasy for me, but the sweet potato fries were on point. I definitely recommend getting those as a side. This place is pretty awesome... yeah it's kitschy inside but if you want hot, fresh food with delicious flavor, reasonably priced, friendly staff and clean interior, you have to come here. read more

This place is da'bomb!!! It's right next to Great Wolf Lodge which is where we are staying. The parking lots are connected so you can walk there. In my photo is the 1 lb shaft burger (no bun) plus sautéed mushrooms. I mean wow! Yes after an entire day at the water park I ate that entire bad boy! This place is good. It's greasy but good! Our party had both of the main salads and they were yummy. I can only review the burger but I can tell you that the service here is top notch! Super friendly workers!!! Clean place!!! We took a chance on Burger Claim because the Yelp reviews looked decent, and we wanted a burger. We were pleasantly surprised. We placed our order with the fun and friendly "Private Dancer" and took a seat in a less-populated, kid-free room in the restaurant. The place is next door to Great Wolf Lodge, so there WILL be kids around...being that we were kid-free, it was nice that there was a quieter place to be. We decided on a couple of burgers and a shared order of tots. The burgers were good. Solid, beefy tasting burgers. The other stuff that makes the burger good was abundant and there are a lot of choices, so no complaints there. Prices are below average for this quality of a burger. Freshly cut fries in a large cup was unexpected. Of course my wife talked me into the "Shaft" burger that is a huge 4-patty with cheese and condiments. We went through the drive-thru due to the COVID-19 limitations, but enjoyed our meals in the parking lot. What a well placed burger spot. Being the only food within walking distance of Great Wolf has got to have its perks. I think that may explain the slightly exaggerated prices for the area. But they make up for it with a great burger and friendly service. I got the 3/4 lb burger not realizing that it was 3 patties. Wow a lot of food but you can tell its made fresh. The quality of the ingredients shows through. The only thing keeping me from that last star here is the fries. We got the loaded fries. I don't know what the previous reviews had but for us it was an OK portion of fries with a small amount of onions, cheese and overcooked bacon. This restaurant is located right next to the great wolf lodge and we ate here several times while we were staying there. The fish and chips is outstanding. Huge pieces of fish and freshly fried. Also tried a chicken sandwich and was not impressed at all. The chicken patty was very small, thin and dry. I finally tried Burger Claim yesterday, and was impressed with the friendly employee at the drive-thru window. She was very helpful and ensured she switched out a fry sauce that the lid was loose on.
