We stopped in here for MN Burger week for their $10 burger. It was two smash burgers, topped with American cheese, grilled onions, and a pickle. This place was a fun find; it has a neighborhood bar feel serving up the locals. The food was good, too. The burger was served piping hot and tasted like it used fresh, quality ingredients. Since breakfast is one of my favorite meals, I was pleased to see they serve breakfast until 5PM. They have happy hour prices, including a $4 beer. For fun, they have trivia and karaoke nights. We look forward to a return visit!

This place is a slice of heaven. Breakfast was amazing and I have been here many times and it always puts out wonderful food. This is a dive bar with a really good menu. My wife got the Eggs Benedict. Chefs kiss.

Saw a food guy on IG give them top 5 wings in Minnesota so I had to check them out. Walked in, seems like a fun dive bar in the middle of a neighborhood. Sat at the bar, ordered some wings and water. Staff was friendly and served me pretty quick. Wings didnt take very long and when they cane out they were super hot temp wise, so A+ from me and good flavor. Overall great experience and would definitely go back if I was in the area.

I saw great reviews for this place and had to check it out! I came in late (around 8pm) on the day before a holiday and was surprised to see they had patio seating and space inside the restaurant. It seems to be a seat yourself kind of place! So no host, just find a good place and take a seat! The menu is straightforward, standard cocktails, appetizers and burger options. I asked for a single patty burger but forgot to ask to upgrade to a basket of fries so don't forget to let them know otherwise you will be given a bag of chips! (I was also satisfied with the single patty but could've eaten more) The burger was great! The pickles on it were unique and crunchy. Will definitely be coming back to try the burger with no modifications!

We've eaten here a few times and have never had a bad meal. We got the wedge burger this time, perfectly balanced and delicious. The deviled eggs were good but heavy handed on the salt. My complaint is about the 8.5 nothing special onion rings that were $11. We eat out often, I realize prices need to go up because of costs but more than a dollar for what tastes like frozen onion rings isn't an expense I think is worth it. Spiced mule was good. Server was attentive but food was really slow coming out of the kitchen which isn't the norm here.

I love Burger Dive! They have some fun specials, & their food always hits. They also have a massive drink selection, including THC seltzers, which is nice. The bar itself is not huge, but there's a tons of seating & a very large bar. There really isn't a bad seat in the house! Their servers are always great, they're attentive & fun. We came for the Vikings game for the first time, & they had some insane deals ($3 pitchers?!), along with plenty of TVs. I got their breakfast for the first time, & the huevos rancheros whipped. It was the perfect portion with super tasty, crispy tostadas & lots of salsa. They also have karaoke on the weekends, which is super fun. This place rocks & I'll keep coming back!

We tried this place this weekend because they had good yelp reviews. I will say they had some good and some bad moments. First, this is a dive bar as titled and so it had a fun feel to it. We were able to sit right away and order. The food took a decent amount of time to come out (about 25 minutes). We weren't in a hurry so we were ok with that. When the food came the tots and fries were cold. Flavor was good but for sure done well before the burgers and sat for a bit. Burgers however were good. They were great flavor, hot and made up for the fact the fries and tots were cold. We did the house burger and wedge burger. We would recommend both. The burger is why I will give 4 stars instead of 3. Service was friendly but not attentive. The server took our order, brought our food and then much later brought our check. No check-ins while we ate and no offers for refills on drinks. She was very busy so I attribute it to that. Again, the burger was good and it's a cute dive bar. I think we had a few off things but the burger made up for it (that's why we went in the first place).

This might be the perfect neighborhood dive bar. Great food, not great bar food, just great food. Seriously good burgers and the breakfast menu is solid. The House burger with it's two beautifully smashed patties is just about perfect. On my most recent trip I got the Dry Rub Wings with house made ranch and blue cheese.....loved them! My go to breakfast is the Huevos Rancheros but the Breakfast Burrito is seriously good. The diamond in the rough on this menu is the Lobster Roll! If you're in the mood for a Lobster Roll do not skip it! The drinks are solid, good pour and are at a fair price. Always good service and a decent patio is definitely worth a mention. Parking is neighborhood street parking but I've never walked more than a block. From Pull Tabs to Trivia and Karaoke Burger Dive has it.

Chicken Strip Basket ($13). Hot and juicy chicken, nice dill-y ranch, and very fresh fries!

Came here for the first time for trivia tonight, and will definitely be back! It's a smaller space (very much dive-bar style--maybe 15 or so tables plus the bar) which I personally love for trivia. It was pretty busy when we went but our server Amy was super attentive and had great recommendations! We got the jalapeño cheese curds ($11) which were super fresh and delicious--I *personally* would've liked a bit more jalapeño on there because I'm a pepper fiend and their pickled jalapeños were delicious, but it was still excellent as-is. We also got the chicken strip basket ($13) which was just as hot and fresh as the curds--and they use a nice lighter batter so you really get the seasoning and the juiciness of the chicken rather than just a mouthful of breading in every bite. I thought the fries tasted particularly fresh and potato-y in a way that I've only ever tasted when I make fries at home, and you could really taste the dill in the house ranch, which I love. Some of the most solid bar food I've had in the cities--if you're looking for a hot, fresh, and pleasantly greasy bar meal, this place is literally perfect.

Is it family friendly, can I bring my teen?

Yes. Almost each time we'd been in for burgers there have been families with kids of all ages. We've seen no behavior that would cause us concern.

We walked in for a pretty late dinner, slightly past 8PM and this place was still crowded. Ten minute wait for a table, the concierge said, but there were free seats at the bar either downstairs or up. We decided to walk down to the bowling alley (a fully functioning, retro alley might I add), and order at the bar. Nook Curds ($13.75) - It's a big basket of battered and fried cheese curds. There's bacon mixed in the batter, giving that smoky and salty, meaty element, and then drizzled honey for some very complementary sweetness. The batter is lightly crisp and the cheese curds inside are completely softened, to the point of being gooey and stretchy. Definitely no squeak here, but these were so delicious that I didn't particularly care. (5/5) Juicy Nookie Burger ($15.95) - Now that's a burger. Huge patty, completely filled with a large pocket of hot, melty, gooey, stretchy American cheese that gushes out while biting through the patty. It's decadent and rich, and that patty - charred so well, giving a robustly smoky charred flavor along with a strong natural beefiness, a result of the patty only being cooked until medium pink. Somehow even with so much cheese stuffed inside, it doesn't leak out at all. It's a pretty simple burger, with just that patty, three pickle rounds on the side, and a bun. The bun is buttered and barely toasted, just enough to give a hint of toastiness and hold up to the massive patty. It cradles the beef like a baby and sucks up all the patty juices and cheese. The burger comes with fresh homemade fries, fried heavily until dark brown, making them similar in both look and taste to my secret craving for Better Made Rainbow Chips, which has a heavily caramelized almost slightly burnt flavor. And yet somehow they aren't over fried in terms of texture. The outside isn't super crisp like commercial battered fries, instead the clear homemade nature leaves some softer areas interspersed with the crunch. The insides, of course, are still perfectly fluffy, and there are little crumbs spread out all along the bottom for an extra crunch. These fries are the height of deliciousness. (5/5) Yes, I've been missing this kind of fatty, unctuous, filling, greasy, rich food after moving away from the Midwest to Seattle. You simply can't get this kind of food anywhere in the PNW. What a great start to our week long trip! The food was classic - great wings, great fries, great ranch, and awesome Jucy Lucy burgers. The ambiance here is top notch, especially in the basement. You get west coast mid century modern that feels cozy and hip. The band played from 3-5 which I admit I originally thought was weird. But quickly realized why. This place was created for three reasons: good food, vibes, and family fun. You look around the room and EVERYONE is having a great time. Someone's Grandpa and grandma are having a blast on the Dance floor, kids are laughing, and everyone eating and truly having a wonderful time. The food was SO SO SO good. My husband got the pastrami ribs and I wish I had taken a photo because HOT DAYUM they were fire. And the coolest part about this place is they don't accept tip. Instead there is a surcharge so all employees can have a livable wage and that's so appreciated and you can tell by the service. Everyone we encountered had a genuine smile on their face. For the owners- my husband and I weren't sure if we wanted children and have been going back and forth about it for so long... but being in a safe family environment where fun and good vibes and inclusivity is possible- it hit us like a ton of bricks. Thanks Animales. We will be sure to bring our family here for the years to come
