I had two choices to get a burger and I decided on this local spot. I'm not impressed. The burger alone was $9.99 & is lacking in size. I ended up paying a little over $14 with fries & the fries aren't that great either. The serving size is alright, but there isn't any seasoning on them. This place also has hot dogs. I'd like to try that next time, but the burger was a bust. And that makes me sad bc I love burgers! read more

After a messy life as BurgerIM and a hard stumble following it's collapse, the decision to hire an experienced manager and completely rebrand was and still is by and far the best decision they have made. If you had any concerns or misgivings about their previous iterations, now would be the time to give them another chance. Service here is leagues better than it's ever been, with a clean menu, changing specials and well trained staff making sure your experience goes as smoothly as possible. They're happy to fix orders, add some extra sauce or modify within reason. There's no concerns here. Now if food was your primary, or only, concern previously, this is definitely where you're gonna see changes. They've started scratch making a lot of items, with new items being tested and added to the menu as the days roll by. The addition of a proper loaded fries with spicy tenders is my favorite by far, but the regular sized, well dressed burgers actually stand on their own two feet. It's a world of difference that anyone can taste. If you're like me and there were plenty of things stopping you from coming before, now is the time to give it another chance. Burger Hut is near one of my working areas, decided to give it a try. Wylie HS is right in front and it was lunch time some students there but not bad. One thing I did notice is the customer service, as far as greeting was kit there. Idk, to me I chose to come to u you our establishment and I would hope a decent welcome to any customer. Did not get that vibe from gentleman at the counter. So I ordered the cowboy burger with domes with a onion ring and bbq sauce. I have to say there was little to seasoning on that patty, bbq sauce was ehh which is not bad, just nothing special. I really like this burger place right across from Wylie High school. I got a mushroom, Swiss onion burger with jalapeños on a lettuce wrap with a side of fries. The burger was healthy and phenomenal. I got there right when they opened. The owner is really nice, although when taking my order he was on the phone talking to his health insurance, and was messing up my order. That is why I gave 4 stars. The food is amazing. I would definitely come back, as the burger was not greasy and everything was clean cut and superb! read more

I hate Yelp because I know what they do to small businesses--previous employee...but wanted to jump on Yelp too because people tend to be overly harsh here for whatever reason. We drove 30 minutes to try Burger Hut and it didn't disappoint! I got the Nashville with a side of waffle fries while my husband got the cowboy with a side of regular fries. 100/10 and would absolutely recommend! Nashville hot chicken sandwich if you like spicy food is great. They put Cole slaw on it it Balance the heat and it's great. I hate Cole slaw but this stuff was fresh and good. While the chicken has heat its not insane crazy if you can handle spicy. If McDonald's spicy chicken is to spicy for you, just turn around and leave... actually they have wings and things so you prob find other stuff.... the loaded Nashville fries were great as well but at that point I was all chickened out...added ranch to the fries and they were great the chopped up chicken tenders on top will have to wait till tomorrow... read more

I came here yesterday and ordered a pick up order of their fried chicken (dark) and updated it to a meal with waffle fries and a drink. I believe the value you can get for the price they charge is very fair for the chicken. I got 4 large dark meat pieces for about $6 which I felt was very fair if ordered on its own! However, the part that keeps the rating at a 4/5 is because of the value of the other aspects of the meal. The portion of fries looked laughably small next to the chicken, and the drink cup size just as much. The total with the meal is over $11, so I did not feel proportionally it was worth it as opposed to just grabbing the chicken. Overall, I think the quality of the food was great. Chicken stayed crunchy, fries were well seasoned (there is more seasoning than just salt on these), and they have the nifty, high tech soda machine. Food also came out very fresh and was given to me the moment it was done. Just know that you're not getting tremendous value when upgrading to a meal. I would highly suggest getting their entrees, and I may be back to try their hot dogs and burgers next time! read more

Date Night and the mother of Cashew liked this place yet it had a name change. You have easy parking since it's located in a big Kroger Grocery parking lot. It's located on the corner of the strip mall. You enter the establishment and place your order at the main counter. The top choices are burgers, hot dogs and children. Mother of Cashew had hot dog and I had one of their specialty burgers with wings. The burger is the size of a Big Mac so the wings are a good filler. The food is brought to you. In the meantime you can wash your hands in the bathroom located behind the kitchen The soda machine is the kind that will give you 10,000 flavors but in this case the machine didn't have any sweetener. The cashier knew it had no sweetener yet didn't take away the cost of drink or offer a substitute. The hot dog was liked by Mother of Cashew. The burger had grilled onions but they weren't fully cooked and were the outer edge of the onion. The habanero wings had ok flavor but warm so it took away from the taste. Since we were the only guests, I expected better customer service and meal especially for $30. I'd say for a gourmet burger place, they need to do a better job. Tried it twice and both times.gave me heart burn and I dont get that too often. I notice I only get that with Mcdonalds and it was the same feeling, probably something with their frying oil. And the hot sauce was not nashville hot standards at all, and I have had the famous hatties from Nashville, does not even come close. I had to order fries seperately but im glad i did they were good and crispy and soft o. The inside. The second time i tried the fried chicken, i will say the fry on it was good and crispy and stayed that way until I picked up and ate it. It was lacking major flavor no salt at all. Very poor management. Since Taking over for Burger IM they have gone way down a hill. They broadcast Burger IMs Wi-Fi but yet will not let you connect to it. The owner doesn't seem to care what you Order he will just force you to buy the most expensive thing on the menu. For instance I ordered a cowboy instead of asking me if I wanted the Burger or the hot dog he just rang me up for the Burger which is $3 more expensive. When I said no I wanted the hot dog he said oh they already made it how on the hell could they have already have made it? If I haven't even paid for my order yet? So he proceeds to make me seem like a horrible person for making them change it so I just went ahead and said fine I'll take the Burger. Then he refuses to let you connect to the Wi-Fi telling you spectrum has a free Wi-Fi give them all your personal information and you can use that for free. New Years eve 2021 went in with my husband for a burger. I got the classic with onion rings, and he got the cowboy with fries. We were very pleased. The burgers were made fresh, with a real meat patty that fit the bun and had plenty of lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. I loved the onion rings. We will definitely be back. read more
