Customer service horrible! Trinty has an attitude of you have questions regarding food. She act like the customers are bothering her to dinner job! We were in the area and hungry, so we went through the drive thru and ordered a double cheeseburger and a mushroom cheeseburger plate. The hamburgers were handmade and cooked to perfection, and the buns were slightly toasted. Yum. Honestly, I may never have had a better hamburger. Service was friendly and timed well. The owner or manager was very rude. I ordered about 32 dollars worth of food. I order 2 salad that they put bacon on. So I called and ask if the bacon was pork. He said yes. I then informed him that my family is Muslim and we don't eat pork. He told us no we couldn't exchange our salad. As a business owner myself, I would make sure to inform my customer of the kind of meat we serve. It's nowhere online, his menu that says pork bacon. You can't assume everyone eats pork. I had a terrible experience last night at The Burger Inn. I lived in Greenwood for 51 years and moved to Lexington 17 years ago. When I lived in Greenwood I loved the burgers at The Burger Inn. Last night we had friends from Lousiania visiting and I had been telling them about the burgers at The Burger Inn. We decided to go and get one. We left about 6:50 and decided to call in our order about 7:15 so our order would be ready when we arrived just before 8:00, which is when they close. We tried to call in many times but the phone rang busy.....finally realized it was off the hook. Got there just before 8:00, which is their closing time, and the door was locked. Tapped on the window and asked to see the owner. After a minute he came around the corner and asked "What do you want?" I explained that we had come all the way from Lexington with friends from Lousiania to get his burgers and the door was locked before 8:00. He said very rudely, "We are closed". I explained that we had been trying to call in our order since 7:15 but the phone was off the hook. He didn't deny it at all and said. "I was busy, we are closed." He then turned around and walked off like I was dirt under his shoe, even though we had traveled an hour to eat his burgers. It was clear that his customers mean nothing to him. read more

The food was amazing. I got the cheeseburger and house salad. It was all good. The staff for the most part was friendly. I will definitely be coming back. My ranch cup had a big piece of hair in it and when I called they told me to come back to the store once I got there the women asked what I wanted and I told her I had called. Place is nasty although I was pleasantly surprised that they've recently replaced the disgusting carpet with tile flooring. Is it weird that I won't use the bathroom in the place but I'll eat there? Also, I found a toothpick in my slaw during lunch yesterday. The cheeseburger was so good though, that the toothpick really didn't even matter. The burgers are ok seeing them cooked on the grill with the wax paper still on was concerning. Called to get delivery for lunch due to being busy at work. The burger was okay not as good as the girl made them out to be. She was a bit cocky about how impressed we would be. They had a good deal and the price was good the burger was large. The restaurant was dated and not so nice inside. The worse part and the reason I will never return is because of the manager...he sat in his office chain smoking like a stove the whole restaurant smelled of cigarettes and i wasn't even close to him but my clothes smelled of smoke when we left! This is is a regular burger joint, the burgers are a little better than normal, fries are a little less than normal. But, this is the only burger joint in town that delivers.
