Updating my review. I gave Burger Jim another shot and I'm happy to say the food was great and was prepared on time. The sesame chicken is a little different than what I'm used to, but in a good way. This hole in the wall place has surprisingly good food! It's generally clean, and service is pretty quick if they aren't busy. Very spartan interior, but you're not going to a Chinese/burger place for atmosphere right? The burgers are excellent, and actually handmade, not frozen Costco crap like RW sells down the road. The fries are battered, and the house fries rival any 'delicious but deadly' food at the fair. Prices are not cheap, but it's great food compared to other fast food. Sometimes it gets a little weird, like my Ptown burger having pickles and tomato on it, but that's expected when it's all kids running a place. Really tasty dishes, we've tried a few. The Mongolian Beef is our favorite. Lots of steamed rice. Every dish is a big dish.

The young lady wouldn't deliver food to my residence because it was too much work to take down directions to my house. Because she couldn't find my address in her GPS, she said it was too much work. I will gladly take my business elsewhere if you're employees are too lazy to write down simple directions consisting of "left and right". It's my first time ever calling this place and it will be my last. Such a shame. read more

Best burger in the Valley. The one detractor to this place is a big one in my book. The seating area is *filthy*. The floors and walls haven't been cleaned in years. The windows are covered over in a dozen xerox'd menus. Burger-Jim, if you're reading this, a night with a floor scrubber and a weekend with a paintbrush would push this review to 5-stars. Also, it won't effect my rating any, but you could up the atmosphere a little if you took down the menus, washed the windows, and put up some fun tissue paper art - kind of like stained glass - any designs would do - it would be a huge improvement over the menus. We've eaten here a couple times now. The Jim Birger is very good. You can always think of little improvements (fresh jalapeño!) - but the flavors are all good and I have no complaints. The kiddos love the curly fries. All the food is hot off the grill. The couple next to us today had some of the Chinese food. The Mongolian Beef looked and smelled amazing. Will try that next time. Update: Tried the Mongolian beef. It's ok but I was done after three bites. Very sweet and no depth of flavor. Delivery is a nice to have - but as with any delivered food, the moisture build-up makes the fries and burger buns a lil soggy. Delivery time was reasonable - about 30 min. Went there for the first time tonight. My co-workers keep recommending them, so I tried it tonight. They have some interesting burgers on their menu, but they are good. I got the "P-Town". BJs has thee best pork fried rice in the valley, their crab rangoon is good too (I wish they added more filling) (the ones at Wild Ginger in Billings, Montana are still the best I ever had). Horrible customer service and environment. Ok food if you get what you ordered. One of our shared plates of food was brought out, but no plates were provided to eat off of. Will go the extra couple of miles to another place next time. Good customer service goes a long way. read more

If you are going to trash your body with a big, heart clogging, humburger, forget Red Robin; go to Burger Jim - best in the Valley by far! They have a mean sauce that is scrumptious to the last lick. Super disappointed. We have ordered Burger Jim every couple weeks for delivery for over a year. My last order they forgot a part of the order..I call and spoke to a very nice lady and explained the situation and she in turn spoke to the manager (heard in the background). She agreed they forgot that portion of the order and said they could send it out or we could have credit on our next order. I said no problem please give us a credit for the next order ($15). We have always been super satisfied with the delivery and the food..I asked her if I needed to leave any information and she said she had the receipt and just call next time and explain. (I should have insisted on leaving more information) So..I call the next time and the gentleman who answered told me they had no record of this and he said he spoke to the manager/owner and they don't remember. Mind you...our orders are always $50+....seriously? They didn't believe me..wouldn't honor it and in turn lost our families business. Unfortunate.. read more

The first time I went there the food was the bomb.. everything was great and the orders were perfect and flavorful... but the other day I went back the food quality as fallen waaaaay down.. salt less and I didn't even get the right burgers we ordered. Ok thought maybe they were just having a bad.. so I order a couple more time and it was still crappy.. I don't know if they got a new cook or whatever.. all I know is that their quality is falling. read more

Ordered House Fried Rice and Teriyaki Chicken. Seating inside is bar style and is clean. Opposed to what a previous review stated, it's nots dirty, the floor is white cafeteria style tile and needs to be refinished. read more

I have order the same thing now for 15 or 20 times and i always get mongolian beef with white rice for $13. I tasted the fries when my bf got them and they werent bad but i wouldnt order them. But i was soopp up set when last week i ordered my usual and got home and allllll the meat was pink now i dont care if its beef and people says its okay i dont like it that way i dont want it that way and i wont eat it that way. I called to tell them that i understand they were packed when i walked in that all the seats were taken and people were standing all over the place waiting. So they were trying to rush everyones food orders and mine sufferd. Now when i told him i didnt even know what i wanted from him except but to maybe apoligize or maybe offee the next one is on them for this happening. But he was rude and didnt care about me being unhappy. I think thats wrong and bad for business. I told him who i was since they always remenberd my name for coming in so many times and he still didnt care. So i wont be ordering again ill take my ass down to rws hamburger house ans any other plave that wpuld replace whats wrong.... and say sorry. read more
