Terrible service here. Missing half my items, the food I did receive was cold and stale. Burger King refused to refund me.

Received a Doordash order today. Now typically, my order is made by the Vestal location but for…read moresome odd reason it was sent to this one. I rarely ever make a complaint unless an item or addon is wholly missing. In this case, I ordered 2 of their Rueben's. Vestal has gotten this right at least the last 7 times I've gotten it from there. The one time this order goes to the Front Street location, they skimp on the double order of meat on both and one of the sandwiches has even less meat than the normal version. I took pictures of both and sent them to Doordash and they decided to not refund me because I took a bite out of one of them while my wife's was still wholly uneaten. To put it bluntly, I won't bother even patronizing this store unless I'm there in person to make sure the order gets done right. And as far as the Vestal location goes, I will only ever order from there as far as Doordash is concerned. Fantastic job, Doordash and Front Street Arby's. /s

I've been giving this fast food emporium a free pass for the last three years. I've been getting…read morelunch from there 2-3 times every month even during the worst part of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was drive-thru only for a long time, and I continued grabbing take-out while sitting out long lines, slow service, and getting cold food. I blamed the pandemic, not the staff or restaurant as a whole. The saving grace was an excellent employee who staffed the drive-thru. She was pleasant, patient, and made you feel okay even though they were messed up, but doing their best given the short staffing, defective equipment, and long lines. Today was another story. They've been back to normal business for about a year, yet things have gotten worse. Today, the lunch line for drive-thru took me 25 minutes from arrival to ordering from the post. Another 20 minutes elapsed before I was at the pick-up window. Then, the worker refused to take my debit card. No cash, no lunch. "Why?" I asked. "Outr card reader is not working. Cash only." Of course I had no cash. I never do, so I don't shop/eat at cash only places. I really wanted a French Dip sandwich, their latest "2 for $7.00" deal. So, I went to an ATM and got cash. I went back to the same Arby's but went inside. I ordered from a very confused counter person, needing to carefully retell her my simple order twice. On the third try, she got it. I then waited 17 minutes for my bag of cold food. It was in the bag that was set on the counter5 minutes earlier, and wasn't called out until another long-waiting customer asked who's order it was. A server checked the contents, said what was inside, and I told him it was mine. I have no recommendations. Just the true story of how it took over an hour to get today's lunch. Btw, even cold, the French Dip roast beef sandwich was pretty good.

TJ's Famous Texas Hots

TJ's Famous Texas Hots

I wanted to check out Tom's Texas Hots because i had never been there, so i went and while it still…read moresaid Tom's Texas Hots in some spots, in other places it said TJ's Famous Texas Hots, so instead of posting this under Tom's i'm going to start a new page for TJ's because it's a new owner in the same space. i've never had tom's before so i can't say if the food is the same, but the food i got was good enough. the Texas hots were decent, the chilli sauce is pretty good but the hot dog itself was nothing special, just a typical small ball park style hot dog, but i'm ok with that because they are only charging $2.50 per order. the chopped steak burger is worth checking out too, the meat seems to be pretty good quality and there's a lot of meat on it, but i wasn't a fan of the bread they used for it. the fries here are just ok, i dunno if i'd feel the need to order them again, they aren't super thin but they aren't super thick either. the outsides get done before the insides do, it's hard to eat them without a condiment. i tried the BBQ sauces they have out too. the root beer sauce is pretty thin and the root beer flavor is really up front. it was good as a dipping sauce but on a sandwich i feel it would probably be a bit too sweet. they have another BBQ sauce there too, it was a bit on the darker side and i think i liked it better, it tasted like there was a bunch of steak sauce in it, both sauces were pretty unique. the inside is nice for a burger and dog joint but it is kinda small so it can fill up quick, and when it does the kitchen seems to get a little flustered and unorganized, so be prepared to deal with that. they are also out of stock of certain items at times, which can be disappointing. another thing i noticed is that behind the building theres a sign that says "TJ's BBQ" and then there's 3 or 4 grills that are covered up. i dunno if any of these are actual smokers but it would be really cool if they did do smoked BBQ in the spring, i'll have to keep an eye out for that

I gave it a couple chances about 4 months apart from each other. Tom's sauce was thick and with excellent seasonings. TJ's was bland and watery. By the time I was half way through my dog each of the two times, my bun was soggy. I had a punch card - 10 punched for a free dog - from Tom's that TJ was continuing. I had filled it up on the last visit. I gave it away to the only other person in there, because I had no intention of going back. What a shame, a true gourmet hot dog ruined and gone forever.
