Comfortable seating with great coffee and food. I appreciate them opening early for that morning coffee before starting my day.

This place is a gem that is slightly off the beaten path in Endicott. I highly recommend a visit…read more First, let's start with the burgers. They are fantastic! For me, they are best eaten with limited toppings and no sauce. I'm not a huge fan of their burger sauce but others seem to like it but if you leave the sauce you get the full flavor of the burger and seasoning. I recently had to make a visit with a group to that place where there are nearly half a dozen guys that make burgers and as a test, I tried eating it the same way I'd eat it at here and discovered there was absolutely NO flavor. The best way to find out if a place makes good burgers is to eat it plain with little to nothing on it because if they are covering it all up with add-ons, they don't have a good burger, they just have cooked meat. TKC doesn't need the sauce but it's there if you want it. Better yet, they are reasonably priced and less expensive than any other burger joint in the area. (We are talking GOOD burgers here, not the fast food chains but even then...still probably cheaper.) Second, they have a fantastic hot honey chicken sandwich that has a lot of chicken on it. It is fried perfectly and the hot honey adds just the right touch of sweet and spicy to give it a wonderful flavor. Finally, sides of onion rings and fries are all done perfectly. I think personally the onion rings have the WIN here but either way you can't go wrong. Oh, and they have ice cream! That isn't the highlight for me, but they have a decent selection of flavors and are reasonably priced. My choice is the non-dairy cookie dough and peanut butter (I think I have the flavor right) and it tastes great. This place seems to always be busy and the owner is always cheerful and friendly. Do yourself a favor and make a visit and in the process support a wonderful local business! You won't regret it. P.S. Adding this - I've taken multiple people here over the past few months and not had a single person disagree with me on how great this place is. So, while the review is mine, I'm quite certain my family and friends would give the exact same 5-star review here.

The pork was pulled style with an Asian profile of flavors. There was also some German bologna, which I don't think was really necessary but oh well. The sandwich was topped with a broccoli slaw mix, cucumbers, cilantro and sriracha. Yum! Everything was very fresh and flavorful. The only downside was the sandwich was kind of hard to eat because the roll was chewy. Just be prepared to get sriracha all over your face! The sandwich also came with a side of either baked beans or Mac salad. I tried the Mac salad and it was very good with fresh herbs and sweet pickle. On a side note, I had this sandwich as takeout so I haven't seen the shop itself. I don't know what gear they have, but I don't think they smoke the pork, so don't go here expecting a more authentic BBQ. That being said, I can't wait to try more!

We sat at the bar and had a front-row seat to the action all evening. The place was packed, but Al and the other bartender handled it with incredible efficiency, professionalism, and personality. It was genuinely impressive to watch them keep up with a busy crowd while still making every guest feel welcome and taken care of. Al was outstanding. He crafted custom cocktails for us based solely on what we were feeling that evening, and every single recommendation was spot on. Each drink felt thoughtfully tailored to our tastes, showcasing both creativity and skill. The other bartender was equally fantastic, offering excellent food recommendations that paired perfectly with our drinks. Both bartenders were knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about what they do. What stood out most was how they balanced speed and attentiveness during such a busy service. Even with a packed house, they remained friendly, entertaining, and fully present with their guests. We wanted to make sure they received the recognition they deserve. Their hospitality, expertise, and positive energy elevated our entire experience and left a lasting impression. Employees like these are a huge reason customers return and enthusiastically recommend a place to others. If you're looking for exceptional cocktails, great food recommendations, and top-notch service, this is a must-visit spot. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.

(I'm still partial to Krispy Kreme however that's quite a drive from here.). The place is rather large, the dining area indoors looks like it's good for at least 30 people anyways and then the outdoor porch weather permitting is probably good for another 20. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened and the line was forming pretty quickly however it also moved along pretty quickly. The person that takes your order is not the same person that gets your donuts and puts them in the box, so that seems to streamline things pretty well. There's a display up by the cash register with one of every donut that is currently being sold that morning/day so you can make your selection easier. The menu is a little more extensive than donuts, as they also have hoagies and shareables and of course coffee/ juices. For whatever reason, somebody decided to put donuts with beer... Yeah I don't know... But, if the mood strikes you they have a very fine selection that they rotate from time to time of draft beer. It's a pour your own kind of a thing and they also sell growlers. There's of course t-shirts and other random souvenirs that not only have the company logo/wording but Owego in general. Bottom of mind this place is definitely worth a visit.

The next breakfast spot was an hour away, but it was worth every mile: The Richford Diner. This little country diner is the definition of small-town charm. Friendly service? Check. Cozy vibe? Double check. And the kind of people who make you feel like you've just wandered into a neighbor's kitchen? Absolutely. We went with simple, protein-packed breakfasts (trying to keep the carbs under control... until the smell of toast nearly broke us), and it was exactly the fuel we needed for the road. The highlight wasn't just the food, though--it was the warmth of the woman running the place (we're pretty sure she was the owner) and the adorable cameos from her kids, who somehow made the diner even cuter. Bottom line: The Richford Diner is worth the detour. Come for the hearty breakfast, stay for the small-town kindness, and leave feeling like you've just been adopted into a new family.
