I bought a BBQ Brisket Whopper and BBQ Brisket Whopper Jr. at the Charles Town, WV location. When I opened up the sandwiches they were not as advertised. There were no crispy onions, no brisket, no lettuce, and the tomatoes were the end slices the size of a nickel. I took the sandwiches back to Burger King and spoke to the manager. He had me open the sandwiches, he looked at them and said that they were made properly. I told him that there were no crispy onions on it, and he said that the sandwich didn't come with onions (which is a lie). There was no brisket on the sandwich (as advertised) and he said it was underneath the cheese and that I just couldn't see it. When I took a bite of it, there was no brisket on it. On either sandwich. The manager was not friendly during this interaction. He told me to wrap the sandwiches back up and that they were mine. If you are in the mood for a BBQ Brisket Whopper from Burger King, drive the extra distance and go to Martinsburg, WV location. You will not get what you are paying for in Charles Town. I go to Burger King a lot and this was the worst experience I've had with them. read more

Jesus Marie Joseph. What a fucking joke of a place. 10pm, busy evening. Wanted to grab some food for the family and literally everywhere else was packed. Except one place... in which we thought was closed, was Burger King. Maybe we were just lucky so we went to drive thru right away. After having our order taken. We had waited 4-5 mins only for someone to come back and tell us that they ran out of Burgers... Burgers. Burger King. No burgers. Only after another back and forth from these 2 absolutely worthless and rude staff members that couldn't even refund anything, suggested the option of a cheaper item to replace the order. Like? Anyways, the order over 50$ and it was simple. And after 16 long minutes waiting on that window. (Again NO other customers) they brought the food out only to be given no sauces that they even asked us, for our nuggets and extremely inedible, cold and stale food... After 16 long mins of waiting on that fucking drive thru window, at the very least, have the decency to produce hot food. The fries were hot, but it's obvious it was re fried multiple times as like I said, that was practically glass we were eating it was shattering. This place should just close down. Zero care for anything. If you're reading this, go elsewhere, there's plenty of FAR better places as an option, for 16 mins I would've had better service in a gas station. read more

The worst customer service. I was just there 5 mins ago. Pulled up the the speaker to order, I kept saying hello, waited for like a minute, still there was no greeting or respond, so I thought speaker didn't work I then moved to the next window. There was no one at the first window, so I moved to the window where they give out food and asked if the speaker wasn't working. The first staff told me to turn around, then the person with ear piece and microphone came started giving me attitude rolling her eyes... She goes: "you kept saying hello hello, while I was busy on something..." I really don't know how she was trained, but honestly, she coulda said something, tell me to wait instead of no greeting, nothing and started giving me attitude like that. I understand people have good day and bad day, but her attitude.., she spread that on to customer where she works. I meant really... the attitude got me lost my appetite. Terrible customer service. The staff isn't wearing masks and my order didn't come with a receipt. I would venture to say the lack of receipt is to prevent customers from validating their purchases with BK complaint line. This is lowest of the low place. It's fast food BUT the entire experience from the workers to the poorly prepared food took it down a few notches. When I arrived at the store I was the only person in line. After waiting and waiting I finally signaled one of the employees to take my order when he finally looked at me. I did this because the whole time this younger guy was literally right behind the older lady that seemed to be the manager and running things. He was literally almost touching her he was so close to her and he was not doing anything. After I signaled him he raised his one finger and said one minute then came over finally to take my order. I told him I wanted the Fish sandwich meal and to add cheese on the sandwich, immediately he looked confused and froze. he kept looking bad at the older woman he was originally hovering behind and finally yells, "MOM." So that explains alot... His mommy had to come over and show him how to add cheese to my order. After finally placing my order I asked If I could have my drink cup because he did not give it to me. He just froze for a few seconds and then finally handed me my cup. After that was over as I was watching it seems as though they prioritize drive through orders and not the customers that are inside placing orders. Lets punish the ones that aren't too lazy to come inside, hmm. I saw them give out at least 5 drive through orders before they even finally took my order and that was only because I signaled someone to take my order or god knows how long it would have taken to place my order. It seemed like everyone was just ignoring me and trying to get the drive through orders done. OH, one more thing! I see the guy that took my order lock the doors at 6 pm. The restaurant doesn't close until 9 pm so I thought this was odd. When I asked the guy why he was closing the doors so early before closing he lied and said, "I don't know." A few minutes later while waiting for my order a family walks inside because the guy unlocked the doors to let someone out and forgot to lock them again. An employee yells, "THE INSIDE IS CLOSED DRIVE THROUGH ONLY." So then I got mad that they yelled at this random family so I asked again, "Why are you closing the doors it says online you don't close until 9 pm?" Then what I believe was the Lady Manager says, "Because I am leaving and these 2 guys are here without me.' So they can't handle taking orders inside by themself? This place is horrible. read more

My girlfriend told me I should try a whopper. Seeing that I've never had one, I decided to give it a go. Now she is my ex girlfriend. I don't think this location deserves a 1 star but Burger King as a whole deserves 1 star. The whopper burger patty tasted like tv static. I have been living by this burger king for three years and i always get wither a whopper or a chicken deluxe sandwich. The inly modification i ever get is no mayo. Not once in three years have they given me my order correctly and im honestly livid about it at this point. I used to come here at least three times a week and theyve never gotten it correct. I eat healthier these day but still, when i go once a month they cant get it right. I ask for no mayo and they give me absolutely no toppings what so ever. That or they give me EXTRA mayo instead. I generally do not like fast food so reviewing Burger King's restaurants is not at all normal for me. That said I have to take notice of a kind act of one of the employees at the Burger King in Charls Town, WV today. Evidently someone had pulled away from the drive through without picking up their drink. One of the employees noticed the mistake and hustled out to the street, the car had left the parking lot and was at the intersection of Flowing Springs Road and 51th at the light when the employee caught up and delivered the drink. Go somewhere else, the employees are rude and the food is terrible. They are always out of stuff and that includes buns, notes are taped to the speaker telling you what they don't have. On June 1st 2023, the note said "No cash card only". What if you don't have a credit card? I went down the road to another restaurant, never going back to that BK. Besides the food and employees sucking, they seem to always close early and even lock the front lobby. If you do not want to serve the public, then just shut the place down. read more

I've come here twice in the past week or so. Fries were warm and crisp, the sandwich was good, it's BK and seemed standard food fare to me in their updated building. My only complaint was overhearing the lady at the register one night complaining over the phone that they had no one to take the next shift... The guys really wanted to go home, so the burgers were ice cold, when I asked to change them, they said that they had already turned off the oven and it was not working. They were constantly rude and mocked at me. The time was 10-35 pm, the store is open until 11. I draw the attention of the management of this store and propose to fire these employees. Best Burger King in 30 mile radius. Food is consistently good and fresh. Staff is friendly. Stop in about once a week for lunch. Wish bacon on burgers wasn't always so tough texture from sitting, but that's a problem at every location- not a complaint about this one. read more

My father and i went through the drive through, my father asked for his sandwich with sourdough which burger king offers, and the cashier rudely told him "I don't even know what that is" and treated him like an idiot for it. The service is atrocious. 25 minutes to get through the drive thru with THREE cars in front of you is ridiculous.

This morning I ordered the #5 breakfast meal and an unsweet iced tea - medium. They gave me a sweet iced tea and COLD food. When I took my order back inside from the drive through they said the unsweet is behind you, so you can get your own and dumped my food in the trash. Tossed the new bag at me with the hot food and never once offered any apology. It was only when I started out the door did the young girl working the widow very curtly say, HAVE A NICE DAY. I really feel that IF BK is going to always serve COLD food at this location then the food needs to be sold at least 1/2 price or FREE. And the rudeness of the workers really is something to be desired. They really need more training like those from Chick Fil-A. Just saying! read more

When i pulled up to the window the cashier was very rude and acted as if i was bothering her. I got my food and parked to eat. The onion rings tasted a tad bit old but not that bad.
