Visited Ruby Tuesday for dinner recently. I requested the salad bar only for dinner, knowing that my family would leave leftovers for me. Our waitress was very friendly. She refilled our drinks quickly. The salad bar was fully stocked and clean. The veggies were fresh, the selection of items was excellent, and the salads were awesome. Highly recommend the salad bar. My wife requested ribs and gave me half of them. They were smoky and delicious. Good stuff! read more

Growing up I use to love Ruby Tuesday before most of it close. Ran across this one in West Virginia after the casino Ambiance 3/5 - Typical all American style resturant, not fancy but it was pretty empty Food- New york strip 2/5 $23.99- Trash the meat texture it terrible. Seasoning was basic and barely got any mushroom that I pay extra for. They give me zucchini which I didn't request for. The mushroom and zucchini was burnt . Went to lunch this afternoon and I got the ribeye steak quesadilla half of it was one of the best quesadillas I have ever had the other half I don't know if it's uneven grill temperatures but the last slice or straight up burnt but that's an easy fix pay attention I would recommend it to anyone pico de gallo could have been a little fresher salsa had good flavor could have done without the little pile of shredded lettuce that look like half of it was kind of Frozen at some point our server's name was Alex probably one of the best servers I have ever had very nice attentive answered all of our questions very good young lady wife got the fish and chips she said they were very good read more

We went to Ruby Tuesday on Valentine's Day. Immediately after being seated, our server Alyssa, immediately greeted us immediately & took our drink orders. She then took our food orders, everything was delivered, exactly as we requested. Alyssa, returned several times, once to make sure our food was OK. The other times to refill our drinks & check-to see if we needed anything. All in all a pleasant experience, excellent service & food. read more

My husband ordered boneless ribs and it was like eating month old dry ham that has been soaked in $1 BBQ sauce and you pay $13 bucks for it. Then I ordered Sticky Ribs (I know they were only an App) but I got more bones then meat. You could fit the meat on one spoon which is sad. The salad bar had bad lettuce and salad dressing that tasted just like the BBQ sauce CHEAP like they werent to the nearest dollar store and got the sauces and try to sell it for more. I have better BBQ sauce and salad dressing at home. Said something to the server and all we got was 10% off. We been to some bad places before but this tops the cake we will NEVER come back. On May the 8th my husband and I was there at 5pm for dinner order the salad bar there was nothing to make a salad brought it to the hostess we spent $60 got no salad just our main meal never going back we eat there once a week my rating is poor it took 15minutes to refill the salad bar three other people stood to wait not me I was pissed. read more

I went there for lunch and we picked the 2 for $24 We were really disappointed, the fries and tots are obviously frozen and not made fresh in the restaurant. The men's restroom was not clean and the smell was so bad I had to hold my breath while washing my hands. Toilet was dirty along with the floor. Now as for the service, that was outstanding and the server Austin was the best and on point with everything we needed. Salad bar was not full and therefore gave it the look of being unkempt or maintained by keeping it fully stocked. The dining room was very clean and the mango lemonade was delicious. Sure just like in the other restaurant. Everyone is hurting from Covid, no one really wants to work, but they put up a good effort and tried to take care of all the customers food was delicious and the bar area was covered. They serve you the bill before you can even swallow your first bite of food, so surely they don't want you ordering desert or hanging around for a bit to BREATH and ENJOY your meal. Servers don't know simple questions about the menu nor do they go over with the chef what they are out of sock of for the day, so this leads to a wait of 10 plus mins just for the server to walk back and forth from the kitchen to the table trying to figure out a solution. Salad bar is a hit or miss manager should do a better job of training and floor checks.. read more

There i was in unfamiliar territory with 11 co-workers in a land called West Virginia and we were starving. We saw a Ruby Tuesday and thought, oh hey this food will be alright. One in our party warned us it was a bad idea, but he was a lawyer so who could take him seriously. The events to unfold would prove him right and test our faith in the West Virginia Culinary infrastructure. 6 00pm : 12 of us entered the trap and were sat in the farthest corner where we would see no waiter for approximately 20 minutes. I usually go here about once a week. Service at the bar is always friendly and good is decent for this area. Tonight, not so much. I sat at the bar as I usually do and waited for about 5 minutes which is normal and I don't mind to be honest since there is only one bartender and no servers in that part of the restaurant. I wasn't greeted by the bartender, instead was looked at rather rudely and asked if I was picking up an order. I said no I am here to order and she just said, for here? Anyway, was given a menu, wasn't asked if I would like anything to drink so I asked for a yuengling, was told they didn't have it so asked for a corona. Was given the beer with no lime or a "here you go". Was it a little busy? Yea, was it my fault, nope. When I paid, no have a good night or anything. I have worked in the food and bar industry for my whole working career and cannot stand rude service. If I see you being cordial with other customers and not me for some odd reason, not sure what the deal is. I'll walk right out if that person is behind the bar when I go back. Now the food. I never expect something amazing since it's a chain restaurant but it's food. I've never really gotten anything I don't like. However, this time I knew the burger was a frozen Patty that you can get in bulk, you could just taste an odd flavor. There were two tiny pieces of onion on it and rotten lettuce. I understand that meat is expensive right now and the place may need to cut some corners by ordering prefrozen beef, but lettuce and onions tho?? We were just passing through yesterday about lunch time and saw Ruby Tuesday and a local diner nearby. We chose RT since the diner looked very busy. I'm so glad we chose RT. We were seated immediately and had a very polite, attentive, and accommodating waiter, James. I ordered the deconstructed chicken kabobs and my husband selected the cheese steak sub with fries. The food portions were just right, hot and delicious. Also their salad bar was awesome, very fresh produce, many items and salad dressings to choose from. I would definitely return. read more

This place needs more than a 2 star overall review. I was in town at the casino and we stopped in for lunch. The food was not which to die for but as a picky eater I found it to be acceptable. We had the glazed chicken and mozzarella sticks with the salad bar for both of us. Everything was fresh, hot, didn't seem like it was sitting around all day and night, staff was friendly and chatty, alcohol was good and the price was a little high but ie the 4 star and not 5. This went about as well as any trip to Ruby Tuesday's could possibly go, and by that I mean I didn't TOTALLY hate it. I was looking for some place relatively inexpensive and quick to eat with a couple of friends. For $16, the quality of the sirloin was decent. It was not entirely tender, but it was cooked as I requested. The grilled zucchini was not very flavorful and the portion size of the entire meal was not impressive, but enough to fill me up. The salad bar was spotty, with some veggies being fresh and others turning an odd, unsettling color... A friend of mine ordered the chocolate fall cake for dessert, which we all split. This was the best part of the meal by far. There was plenty enough to split between 3 people and the cake was moist and delicious. The service was surprisingly great and our waitress was attentive and accommodating. Overall one of the better Ruby Tuesdays I've been too, but it's still a Ruby Tuesdays, so don't expect a five star experience. read more

We had a wonderful experience here at Ruby Tuesdays. With a party of 6 people the hostess asked us if we were comfortable at a circular table or if we wanted then to move tables around for us. We saw they were out of our favorite croutons when walking by the salad bar and the when we mentioned it to the hostess she made sure to get them immediately. Our server Jay was incredible. He was so polite and personable. He made sure to check I'm on us repeatedly. when the good hit the table we were in heaven. The food was delicious. Since Covid I have been using this location weekly because it's been consistently good. Despite being short staffed and slammed with Grubhub/Doordash orders, we get well prepared food. I only eat inside occasionally, but we haven't encountered any issues other than an extended wait, which we expected under current conditions. Out server still returned to our table and checked on us many times. Our takeout is always hot and neatly packaged to go. Staff have been very friendly. They get our business so often because they give us better service than other local places. As for the food, it is a chain with specific ways of preparing dishes, so you either like their style or not. We do, and this location is way more consistent than the ones in surrounding areas. read more

This visit was a arranged by a 92 year old lady in recognition of my birthday. Today's weather at 1:00p was dreary, 41 degrees, and raining. But, the parking lot had great drainage, no puddles. A cheerful hostess opened and held both doors for the elderly lady and welcomed us inside. Immediately I noticed the tile floor was dry wasn't slippery, a real issue for a cane user. We were seated in the closest booth, another kudo and thanks to the hostess. Only a few customers were present. Our server was pleasant and well groomed with tattoos covered. My friend presented buy 1 get 1 entrée 50% off. The waitress suggested the combo and salad bar option, so we ordered shepherd's pie. The salad bar could have been fresher, but, for a rainy, chilly Saturday, I suppose there wasn't much turnover in produce. Well presented and very, very neat and clean. I was a bit disappointed there wasn't soup on the bar, but it is called a garden bar, not a soup and salad bar. Everything was ok except the cole slaw tasted "off" and the potato salad had the baked potato peels, just too tough. The entrée arrived piping hot. Shepherd's pie is a dish generally good homemade, but rarely commercially. My elderly companion chose this, so for the BOGO 50% off, I chose the same. Too greasy, not nearly enough vegetables (could count on one hand the square pieces of carrot), but the mashed potatoes with a sprinkling of cheese had been placed under the broiler and nicely toasted, making for a great presentation in the casserole dish. Well, my elderly host was not please when the waitress let us know that the coupon wasn't available with this order. Ninety two year old ladies take their coupons seriously. We chose another coupon for $5 off a dessert which neither one of us wanted, but the dessert was refreshing after the very salty shepherd's pie and adequate for us to split. The bar looked attractive, with small tables off to the side. Numerous televisions were showing multiple ball games. One very nice touch, I thought, was that the windows in the bar area were large, allowing groups to see approaching friends before they entered. The ladies rest room was clean and safe. The location might be a problem...to get to the restaurant involved a left turn in a intersection with multiple small businesses and a housing development. This is no problem for a native of the county, we're used to it, but the out-of-towner, older traveler would choose an easier entrance to a different eatery. I rarely go to Ruby Tuesday's and I've lived here for years. Need a quiet place to meet someone at the corner of Rt 340 and Rt 9? This might be the place for quiet conversation. read more

My husband and I went to this location to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What a total nightmare! We sat down at the bar and ordered drinks. I ordered a Long Island iced tea. Being a former bartender I could tell that there was almost no alcohol in it at all. It was so sweet that I couldn't even drink it. I sent it back and ended up ordering a beer which I don't like to drink, but I knew that it was something that the bartender couldn't screw up. We ended up ordering the queso cheese and chips as an appetizer. The order literally came out within two minutes. The cheese wasn't even warm, and the chips were totally stale. They ended up sending it back to the kitchen, and all they did was reheat the cheese, and the cook made fresh chips. The cheese was still very bland and did not have much flavor. Two strikes against them so far! I ended up ordering chicken wings as my entrée. Most of them were very small wings, smaller than my pinky finger. There were only two large wings that were in there, and they were full of fat! They were absolutely disgusting! I couldn't even eat them. To be fair the manager was aware of the problem and came over and asked to see it. He gave us a discount on the bill and offered to have another one made. Let me first start by saying that I think this restaurant chain is just ok. It's never my first choice and I think everything about it is just average. We went for dinner on Tuesday night at my suggestion because I was craving their salad bar for some strange reason. We sat at the bar, as usual. Domestic drafts were on happy hour special for $2 so we went with that. We both ordered the salad bar and slider combo. I got the chicken bacon ranch sliders and my husband got the smokehouse sliders. We helped ourselves to the salad bar and shortly after that our sliders came out. My sliders were ok but I have to be honest - they were pretty bland. With a name like chicken bacon ranch I expected a flavorful sandwich. My husband's sliders were overcooked and VERY bland. He ate one and we tossed the other. The highlight of our meal was the salad bar, which we made ourselves. That's kinda sad. Our bartender was very friendly and attentive so that was a plus. The waiter was one of the best we have ever had! His name is Lowell C. He should have a job at a classier establishment. He is on the ball, friendly and pleasant. The french fries were excellent. Floors need major attention. Very sticky. I thought I had stepped in gum, but nope. Carpet and tile very sticky. Boyfriend noticed it too. Chicken was tough and soda was flat. From the outside appearance and from the reviews this restaurant was not appealing, however my family and I decided to give it a shot anyway - it was late and we were hungry and let's face it, there's not many options in Charles Town unless it's fast food. We walked in an hour before closing-which I was already apprehensive about. To my surprise, we were greeted by the host immediately who sat us at a table in the bar area. The female bartender who served us was excellent- we never felt rushed even though they were closing soon. As far as service and cleanliness, I would give 5 stars. The only complaints are that my wine was old, which was quickly corrected by the bartender and the bun on my chicken sandwich tasted like it was going bad too. Restaurant has brand new cooks and wait staff. Our order was messed up from the get go, starting with the server forgetting to click send on the computer. We waited almost 2 hours for our meals. Then food was lousy! My daughters burger tasted funny. Our fried shrimp was barely fried. We just gave up. The manager deducted all the food. He was at his wits end with all the staff. The young man doing hostess duty and busing duty was absolutely wonderful!!! Don't bother driving in this restaurant's direction, it's worth the wait at any other place. We went two times to this location over a few days. I would have given a 5 star rating after one visit but on the second visit the customer service was lacking. The first visit our waiter was attentive and efficient and food was brought out in a timely manner. In fact we commented on the great service. On a second visit we waited a long time for food and I ordered salad bar and soup mind you. My hubby ordered salad bar with grilled chicken. A table that came in a good 20 minutes after us got their food before us and the waitress comment was they had fried food so it was quicker. It was quicker than soup?? I think she was bartending and waiting but....it was not that crowded and she hardly checked on us. I want to stress that I am very patient and understand short staffing and such but there was not much of a crowd and both if us had eaten our salad plus grabbing a little ore to the point I didn't even want my soup. I was more upset that her reasoning for waiting almost 30 minutes while others got food faster was their food was fried. Again I had soup which I know was already prepared. Also we ordered the same thing the first night and it was out much much quicker with a bigger crowd. If she would have just said I forgot to put in your order or checked on us z little more it would have made a difference. Also to add she was talking to the other customers who got their food faster for a good 10 minutes or so and clearly knew them.
