Pulled up to this drive thru several times in the evening hours only to be told the compter systems were down and they can't take orders. Where can you go and get great service? I tell you it's definitely not here. So I stopped by this location on because it's on my way home. Bad idea, why is that? They can't even get a simple grill order correctly. I mean my goodness it's not that hard only 3 ingredients. Oh maybe some can't count idk. First of all, the lady on the intercom sounded unmotivated and disturbed. No may I help you, go ahead with your order, You Rule, nothing, just Burger King. I almost went to another restaurant after hearing the unmotivated voice which translates to how my food may turn out. Well I was right, they never get it right, been here several times as I live around the block. I ordered a Melt with Bacon, fries/rings, and medium coke. I ended up getting was appeared to be a double cheeseburger, no melt, no sourdough bun, but fries/rings, and coke, with all the necessary condiments. It just cannot be that hard to take an order, put it accurately into the system, have it made in the back, bag it, and give it to the customer. I guess when you do not want to be at work or do not like your job, you are the Last person to be handling someone's consumable food order. I will drive to Colonial Heights next time. v/r, Dr. K. While in the area one morning, I stopped in for a quick Ham, Egg & Cheese CROISSAN'WICH and a Bacon, Egg & Cheese CROISSAN'WICH as well. I also got a cup of coffee. Service was quick and somewhat decent... I say "somewhat" because the lid on my coffee wasn't secured to my cup before giving it to me and I found at while getting in my car and it popping off and me spilling some of the coffee. Overall, the coffee did taste good and was fresh. The sandwiches were good and fresh as well. Prices are also decent. The place seemed clean too. read more

My wife and I hadn't gone into this Burger King for over a year. We crossed them off the list due to poor service. Whenever we did go in, we'd usually have to go past 1-2 employeess standing at the entrance smoking and then experienced poor service inside. Since this was on our regular route out for most things, we begin to notice that there'd always be 1-2 emloyees out smoking almost every time we'd go by which reinforced our decision to stop going there. Well, after a year, we decide to try them out for breakfast. There were no 'smokers' out front (maybe because it was early in the morning). A good sigm. When we reached the counter - no one was there. It was actually a minute or two before someone came to the counter. There was an employee serving at the drive-throught window. The wife ordered de-caf coffee and was told there was none. What kind of fast place doesn't have de-caf coffee? We asked if she could check. The clerk did check with the on-duty manager and learned that they indeed served de-caf and a new batch was just about done. We finished our order collected our food and went to the seating. We went with an empty coffee cup - planning to wait for the fresh de-caf. When the brew was done, the on-duty manager called out to my wife 'Hey, Hon..' to come get her coffee. (She, obviously, was not a recent graduate of Burger King's Management Training College or had gone so long ago, she had forgotten the sessions on how to talk to customers.) On top of it all, the self-serve coffee tray (located at the main counter - not on the distant self-service beverage/condiment counter) was littered with over a half dozen empty creamer cups. How much effort would it have taken for anyone working there to clean them up? In general: - the food is standard quality - we've never experienced a problem in that area; - the cleanliness could be better - service standards need to be upgraded We've crossed this particular Burger King off our list - again! read more

I have been eating at this Burger king since 94 and it used to be a nice respectful establishment. It used to be clean and it used to have a play area that was clean as well. I had a birthday in this Burger king when I was a little kid, they used to give you a crown to wear and a free kids meal. When my husband and I ate here before we left the state, we didn't see the ball pit anymore, we were told a kid peed in it and they had to rip it down because they didn't want other kids to get sick, I think they turned it into a place to sit and eat by the window. I was pregnant at the time and I purchased a chicken Caesar salad, the chicken was good but the lettuce had ice chips in it and was extremely cold and the cheese was frozen i threw out that part and just ate the chicken, needless to say I was still hungry and the salad was disgusting. read more

For a Burger King, it was, well a Burger King. Ordered a Fish sandwich, fries and a drink. Fish sandwich wasn't out of this world, but it was decent. Horrible experience at this Burger King over hot dogs! We ordered (4) classic dogs and (2) orders of fries. When we drove to the window, the cashier barely greeted us but took our money and gave us the food, including fries that were thrown in the bag. The order was incorrect. There were only two hot dogs... loaded with raw onions ketchup and mustard. Okay, we had no idea that the classics dogs came with these toppings. We assumed it would be upon request. Lesson learned. Then the cashier calls someone to the window and it goes completely downhill from there. The so called "manager" Latoya who approached the window is in dire need of management training and a write up. She was highly unprofessional starting with her greeting "Yes?" (Not how may I help you). She was defensive in posture and rolled her eyes. My fiance apologized about ordering the classic dogs not knowing how they were prepared. He also stated that we ordered 4 hot dogs but only received 2. She debated about our order because of what was on the receipt (cashier at fault), and told us there was nothing she could do about us not knowing what came on the hot dogs. ALL THIS BACK AND FORTH ABOUT SOME CHEAP HOT DOGS THAT WERE THROWN TOGETHER!!! So we demanded our money back. She lost money and business... we'll never support this establishment again. read more

So my brother and I went up there yesterday to get 5 large fries while some people back home were cooking burgers on the grill. They ask..need any sauce and I'm like yea yo, can I get honey mustard....anyways they give us the bag of fries and we scoot off and there's ONE pack of sauce...it's ZESTY sauce, not even honey mustard...what do they expect? 5 large fries needs only one sauce to dip in? Completely ridiculous, at least give one pack of sauce per large...can't believe these are the people that want 15 dollar minimum wage and can't even get the sauce game on point...y'all lucky I'm even giving one star. read more

For Burger Kings, this is one of the best. Clean and easy to get to. The restaurant also has TVs in it. The food and service has been great for me. And of course, the whopper is a classic. read more
