The typical reply that I hear all the time, and people all over must hear too because they make jokes online about McDonald's never having an ice cream machine that works. So the person in front of me in the drive-thru gets several ice cream cones. I'm astonished! I look at the person when I pull up and I said, "I was told your ice cream machine was down." They just stared at me. Didn't smile didn't say a word. That's actually typical for this McDonald's. (In fact I thought I already posted a review about this particular McDonald's and how if you don't want to talk to anyone this is the McDonald's to go to, because the employees will not look at you, smile at you, or say one word to you. So now I have learned and I will let everybody know that the ice cream machines DO work here!! They are just liars. After waiting 15+ minutes with no update, I finally went inside to find out what was going on. I was told they were "waiting on fries," yet several cars continued moving through the drive-thru and receiving their orders. It became obvious that we had simply been forgotten. There was no apology, no proactive communication, and no sense of urgency to correct the mistake. Customers who have already paid should not be left sitting outside wondering where their food is while others are being served. This reflects poor organization and a lack of management oversight. If you're asked to park, be prepared to monitor your own order -- because apparently no one else is. Next time, I'll stay in the drive-thru line instead.
