When she arrived home with the burgers and unwrapped them we noticed that the burgers were more than well done, and had a small slice of tomato and a small piece of onion and glob of mayonnaise in the middle. Definately not returning!!! The drive through line was long, so I parked and went inside. There were three customers ahead of me. I noticed the lady at the cash register wore gloves to take the customer's money and give change back. Then she turned around and started to stuff the fries into the carton with the same gloves on. Then the girl running drive through Started complaining about how the cars kept coming. A guy worker walked in and went to help in the back. He looked at the fries and said they were to old. I waited about 20 minutes for my food. I noticed the supervisor lady in the black shirt used the same gloves to put the onion rings into the cartoon and into my bag. That made me sick. On several occasions they did not give my entire order and on my final visit they gave me a 10 piece when I ordered a 20 piece of chicken nuggets. Called to talk to them and they wanted me to drive back, but I would spend more on gas. Then they asked to take down my name and I could be accommodate at my next visit but told me to hold. If I could give this location a zero I would . I waited in line for 30 minutes in the drive through . The lady in front of me rolled down her window to tell us they are saying it was because only one person is working at the moment . I have no idea why they just let people in the drive through order instead of letting them know if that was the case . We ended up ordering online through taco bell next door , picked it up and got back in the car and the whole time I did that my husband was still stuck in the drive through . The time it took for the lady in front of me to get to the window and hand the money in exchange for the food was 13 minutes alone . I went through the drive-thru and ordered 1 Chrispy Chicken Sandwich. I took one bite and the chicken was so burnt that I couldn't eat it. I went back through the drive-thru hoping to get a replacement and was told to come inside. Then I had to wait 5 minutes for a new sandwich with no one else ahead of me in line. They completely left some poor lady ahead of me in the drive thru without 1/2 her order for over 15 minutes and she had to get out of her car and ask for the rest of her order. They definitely have their "A-team" and their "not-so-A-team." Since this BK is nearest to our house, it's the one we go to the most often, and I have noticed that they run a tighter ship on the weekends. Every time they HAVE screwed up our order is during the week in the evenings. Today though, I realized that on the weekends, our order is always correct, fresh and relatively quick. Based on today's visit, things would be a 4 or 5 star visit, but I have to downgrade them to a 3 star simply based on a few other disappointing times. As for food quality, it's fast food... not much to say (except that the Whopper IS one of my favorite fast food items). Another thing I can say about the food quality is that even though they've messed up and forgotten items on our order before, the food is always hot and fresh. I've never had stale fries at this location. Also, the weekend "A-team" members are always very friendly. The surly teenagers working during the early week - not so much. I came here the other day to do a take out for lunch before I went home after a nice drive. Got #1 meal, which was the Whopper meal (no cheese) in med size. As I ate, this Burger King reminded me of the old days when I was attending at a nearby high school. I was a Junior at the time and I had some friends who were Seniors. The rule was that only Seniors were allowed to leave campus for lunch. They have a $1.59 Wednesday Whopper day. I'm somewhat of a fan of the Whopper because of the condiments, their fresh onions tomatoes and pickles, but the sauce is a little lacking. Avoid the more expensive burgers on the menu, they really don't have much added to them for what the upsell is. Their steak burger pretty much sucks and is overrated. Fries are a little less than average. Stick to that $1 double cheeseburger, those seem just as good as White Castle to me and a winner over the McDouble. I rate BK above Jack in the Box, Wendys and Fosters. The only reason I have McDonalds above BK is because McD's fries and McNuggets will always own. For some reason, I don't go back to BK that often, maybe because you can get so much for so little, and that's fattening. Went here today, ordered 3 20piece nuggets. Asked for 50 of the nuggets to be spicy and 10 to be regular for my partner and I, these instructions were clearly to hard. Waited almost 30 mins for a messed up order and on top it the spicy nuggets weren't fresh like I was told they would be they were old and hard. All the 5-Star reviews are probably employee's of this location. This location seems to always have OLD food and an unfriendly staff. The proof is if you look at the lines at this location, it's always empty because people don't want there bad service and food. Came to this place from out of town and was really satisfied. The restaurant was really clean, great customer service, and of course their breakfast was really good (pancakes, crossandwhich, and coffee). Can't go wrong with this place. My brother and I had a late night craving for some fries. And after seeing repeat after repeat commercials of the "Buffalo Chicken fries" we decided we'd go try some. We got to the drive thru and ordered two original fries and one of the Buffalo fries. The lady behind the drive thru window told us to kindly wait outside as she prepared them fresh. How sweet! Hardly anyone says that these days, or maybe I'm not used to hearing it at a fast food place, but definitely made my night. Plus when she brought out our order, she gave every flavor of sauce (because we asked for them). :) Thanks for that! However when we got home and actually ate the fries, they both tasted exactly the same! There was no difference between the original or the Buffalo flavor! Except for a little pepper in the mix, but not real Buffalo flavor. And I was really looking forward to them because I was really hungry and wanted something with a kick. And the location itself can't do anything about it because they delivered on service! Seriously, way better than other locations I've been to. And franchises go by their set recipes, so can't do anything about that. However, I suggest that Burger King rethink the name Buffalo and stick to Peppery fries instead, just sayin'. read more
