Double smash burger with cajun French Fries
Julian V.

6/5 this truly is a gem. Incredible food, atmosphere and service. Everyone at this establishment works hard and nobody has one job. I saw the head Cheff take orders bus boy was doing other tasks like cleaning tables. The chef came out and say hi to customers and talked to them like a real human. The bathroom is extremely clean. Fast food prices with bistro level service. My food came on a real plate and when I asked for an extra side of sauce, I got a huge amount. These people are here to serve, and you can feel that. This is easily my new favorite place to go. There is a reason why this place is 5 stars on yelp. That's not easy to do.

My son and I came to the Fresno area for a football camp at Fresno State University and I checked Google for some highly rated places to eat and found Smash Brothers with a 4.9 rating and decided to try it. Upon arrival. William and Jonny greeted us right away and made us feel like family and explain the menu to us and also explained about the specials that they were offering that night. We ordered two delicious smash burgers and garlic fries and they gave us free ice cream as well. I randomly saw a printer sitting on the counter and asked Jonny if he would be able to print something for me because I forgot to print the medical release and other paperwork for my son's football camp tomorrow at Fresno State. Jonny proceeded to plug in the printer and gave me his Wi-Fi password and I emailed the documents to him and he printed it for me without any issues. I know if I would've asked the hotel to print them for me, they would've charged me for just the paper. We proceeded to talk with Jonny and William about Fresno State and how they contribute back to the community and work very closely with the Fresno State football team and offer them discounts for eating there. They also offer discounts for first responders and give back to the community. William and Jonny are really nice guys and I was happy to eat at their restaurant. Their burgers were really good and their service was outstanding. I'll definitely be coming back to this restaurant in the future.

Have yet to order something I have not liked. There rotating specials makes it exciting when I go in. My favorite is the classic smash burger with a truffle fry. The restaurant is a cute small, affordable option for when I'm craving breakfast or a good tasting burger. The staff is kind with warm and comfortable atmosphere, great for a lunch or family meal!

Chef Jonathan was really hospitable and down-to-earth. You could see he was very passionate about his restaurant making people feel good being there. Generous portions and great flavors! Also loved watching the soapbox derby on the TV!

I'd say the best cheese burger I've had thus far and it's on a gluten free bun! With an allergy to wheat my burger options are minimal and I'm glad I checked this place out. I've tried many places and I feel I have found my go to spot. The burger was scrumptious, the service was great and the employees are kind. The space is comfortable inside, I took my order to go. I plan on being back soon and with company!

Glad to return to fav local burger spot for Sunday brunch. Welcomed by the clean and sleek interior bistro, we were greeted and served by real smash brothers Johnny and Anthony. Our party of 5 ordered, shared, and enjoyed two orders of the 2 x 2 x 2, an order of pancakes, a cinnamon roll, two side orders of potatoes, an extra side order of eggs, fountain drinks, and orange juice. Left full and happy with a to go order. Although pretty pricey, both the lasagna and carrot cake with espresso filling were delicious.

Had the double smash burger and fries. The burger is a straightforward - very good smash burger where they allow the simple ingredients to shine. Patty, meat, cheese, house made pickles, and sauce. Now if I have to be particular I would like them to add more sauce. Sauce acts as a binder to combine all these great ingredients. Also, fries portion were a bit small for $20. All in all, I would definitely recommend. I appreciate the smaller menu, shows although they do a few things, they do them well and right. I would like to come back and try the chicken sandwich. Service was great! All gentlemen were very friendly say hi and waving bye. Loved the oldie music as well.

Half eaten Double Smashburger

Ding Ding. It's almost unbelievable how good this burger is. It's very rare that you find a burger that has perfect everything. I ordered a bacon double Smashburger and the patties are so flavorful. I don't even know where to begin. I'm so satisfied and I can't wait to ride back through here . This place is definitely a gem. A perfect five out of five for the smash burger. No complaints whatsoever. Whoever the dude that is working tonight, he's a cool ass dude as well.

What a cute spot! I didn't know what to expect and I was very pleasantly surprised! We ordered a couple of smashburgers with egg and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious and homemade! The owners Matt and Johnny were very nice and we had a lovely chat. We'll definitely be back.

If you didn't make reservations and ask if being seated outside is faster to get seated. 3. They will ask for a phone number to text you your in the waiting list and when your table is ready. 4. Food comes out fast. Bottomless coffee. 5. Some items you can choose 1 side order or 2 side orders. 6. Look at the menu before going or while waiting (posted here on Yelp) There are so many options and if you're hungry you might be in a hurry to order and miss something you really would have wanted to order. 7. Becareful don't have "Big eyes" these are good size portions my wife and I shared and still couldn't finish. You can get all the normal diner style favorites like eggs, bacon, sausage and a whole plate size pancake or get a Pork Verde breakfast omelette or opt for a burrito. To make a long story longer here's a summary : Make RSVPs, Bottomless decent coffee, look at menu ahead of time, Service is good but they are busy so please be kind, and as always if possible bring a friend to share this with and Enjoy. We visited on a weekday and were seated within a few minutes. We sat outside since we had our dog, which was a nice option. I had a mimosa and the chilaquiles, and my boyfriend ordered the chile verde burrito. Portions were really generous-we didn't even finish our plates. The food was good, though I do wish the chilaquiles had come with sour cream and a bit more chicken. Chile verde burrito was yummy! Service was fine and everything came out in a reasonable time. Only downside was the restroom situation-there's just one, and even though I locked the door, someone still walked in right as I was coming out of the stall... super awkward and uncomfortable Overall, a solid spot with big portions and a relaxed vibe on a weekday. I'd come back, just with a couple small improvements in mind.

We arrived for breakfast before 10A, and the pasty and dessert selection is happily overwhelming. Our party of two ordered two Breakfast Combos. First, Pancakes Breakfast Combo with turkey bacon and eggs, and second, French Toast Breakfast Combo with mild sujok beef patty and eggs. We shared everything except our eggs. Both were served with their made-onsite orange blossom syrup, which went very well with the pancakes. Everything was wonderful, however the sujok beef patty was my favorite. To drink, my friend requested an Almond Milk Cappuccino, and I opted for a canned 100% mango juice. We also utilized the complimentary water dispenser. We took home a Sourdough Loaf, a Blueberry Cream Cheese Croissant, and an Almond Croissant. Hoping to return soon to try more, and most especially for the sujok.

Gotta love their motto: "Every plate is made with love, and every customer is treated like family." I've had the pleasure of meeting Teresa on a few occasions and chatting a bit. She is just so genuine and earnest. I always look forward to seeing her and chatting if she has the time. Each time we are in the area (usually to visit Yosemite and Kings Canyon National Parks) we make sure to stop in. This visit we managed to come in twice! Yay! Just love the working model train set perched overhead in both eating areas. If it's not running, just ask your server and they will turn it on. First visit I ordered the shredded beef enchiladas (comes with refried beans, rice, chips and salsa) along with a nice refreshing beer. Second visit I ordered the Trainwreck breakfast (eggs, hash browns, bell peppers, onions, tortilla chips, jack and cheddar cheese. Plus choice of two meats and two additional vegetables.) with biscuit and gravy. I choose two types of sausage, zucchini and avocado. Oh and an ice cold beer of course. Both meals were fresh and delicious. No matter what I order here I always know it will be tasty and well balanced. Service is always friendly, helpful and courteous! If I lived closer I would definitely stop by more often!
