Solid burger joint! Don't allow the surrounding area deter you from giving them a try. I had a craving for a flame-grilled, charbroiled burger and decided to finally stop by. I ordered the basic cheeseburger meal, which came with a drink (Pepsi products) their soda fountain is well carbonated. The burger was excellent, and the fries were fresh, well-seasoned, and crunchy. They give you a large portion--I was so full from the burger that I could barely finish the fries. Overall, it is a great value, the establishment is clean, and the service is good. read more

The Burger Shack is one of the more affordable burger spots around. You can walk in with about $20 and leave with a full meal. I ordered the Smash Burger combo and really enjoyed it. The burger was cheesy, flavorful, and came with a generous amount of fries, making it a great value. The biggest downside was the menu consistency. The online menu didn't match what was available in store, and when I tried ordering items advertised online I was met with upcharges. The food came out quickly, but I was disappointed that my shake didn't include whipped cream as advertised. My mom and sister also felt the Western Burger and Shack Burger could have used more seasoning (lacked flavor). Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would come back for the value and the Smash Burger, but I hope they update the menu descriptions to better match what customers actually receive. read more

3.5 Stars on the strami-burger. Staff - 5 Stars, friendly, polite Cleanliness - 5 Stars Burger is huge but lacked flavor. Without the strami meat it would be like a plain flat top cooked burger. The strami, however, did add some flavory notes. What I disliked was the weeks worth of sodium which kinda killed the strami-burger meaty taste. I have been here a handful of times here some of the pictures.. if you're looking for a quiet place for a family place to go to eat lunch or dinner this would be the place... It does not serve pork however they have a very good single bacon cheeseburger which I have shown below, they also has Sundays and banana splits that are super good milkshake I always get the strawberry... Their food is not overly salted, and the cashier is super friendly easy to talk to. I love that he will look at my 10 year old son and ask him what he wants to make him feel included. Oh and I forgot to mention that the banana shakes are fresh and have real bananas!! Totally a place to go first day, with the kids, something cheap but very affordable you get a burger fries a drink and a milkshake for under 20 bucks!!! read more

Walked in and was greeted with a massive amount of flies. Overlooked it because I wanted to give the pastrami sandwich a try. This sandwich had so much potential. However, the meat was severely dry. The bun was super soft. But, I was disappointed on the bun choice. Guess with being a Los Angeles native I was expecting more. The sandwich was a no go for me. The staff were very friendly. Had this place two nights ago because my girlfriend mistakenly ordered this place. This is what we received: 4 burgers (they were supposed to be cheeseburger) not only were all the of the hamburgers wrong ingredients wise my gf and I had to fix them up ourselves to make them edible. Hamburger was extreme dry and under seasoned. The buns are soggy and the sauce whatever it is tastes awful. I was urging her to get a hold of them to have them fix it but having hungry kids we wanted to get them fed and waiting for another set of burgers wasn't in the timeline. I can't speak on the managers because I haven't met them but i can say from past experiences they must not care about the quality that comes out of there because I've never had a burger from this spot that was made correctly. I'd like to try it again but unfortunately so many bad experiences can only leave a bad taste in your mouth. If you care to try this place, you're taking a risk. Just my opinion but at least at McDonald's you know they're gonna serve you something awful. read more

We were in town this weekend for a baseball tournament, we found this great spot for to grab a bite to eat, kid friendly - service was great! The man taking our order was super friendly great attitude, gave us a run down of the menu, and some great recommendations! I had the double smash burger combo, the man had the pastrami burger combo and our boy had a cheeseburger combo with vanilla shake. Food was fresh, fries were perfectly seasoned! So far I've had their Buffalo Chicken Wings. It's super good. Really crunchy. Strong Buffalo Flavor. The ranch is tasty. The meat is juicy. The restaurant is clean on the inside and colorful. This is a true case of don't judge a book by its cover! I can be honest and say it's not in the "best" area, but the inside is clean and kept. The next level service from Abe, along with the amazing quality of food was all too worth our stop down coming back to San Diego from Yosemite. Get the smash burger and add stuff to it if you want, but it's def better than a classic burger. The fries are amazingggg - remind me of dc style carry out fries, which took me back home. Loved it! Stumbled upon this place for a quick lunch while passing through Fresno. Pretty dead inside during lunch time which wasn't a very good sign, but hey how could you mess up a burger. Service was pretty quick, didn't have to wait very long. The burger of course looks nothing like the photo but it wasn't bad. Had to season my burger a little more.
