I had to opportunity to try out Colorado Grill over the weekend for my little cousin's graduation. They had a truck out there with burgers, and chicken on the menu. I tried this place out a few years ago. I wasn't too fond of - I went ahead and gave it another shot to support the local neighborhood shop. I recently had the bacon avocado burger and wasn't too impressed, but I decided to give this spot another chance hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, it still was unsuccessful. The meat was dry, and it felt like they tried to cover that up with lettuce and other toppings rather than focusing on flavor. While everything looked appealing on the outside, the quality just wasn't there. The ingredients didn't taste as fresh as they should, and the overall flavor profile needs improvement. also the drink area was a little messy. It's disappointing because the presentation makes it seem like they're doing something right, but the taste tells a different story. I went here for the first time and I got the double burger and some chili fries. It came out to $19, the staff were friendly and came up to us 3 times to check if we were good and really helpful. The only thing I'd comment is that I noticed the floors were sticky. read more

Located a little North of Shaw, on Willow, is Colorado Grill. This old diner vibe and great customer service restaurant, reminds me of something. When we went to Fresno State, this place reminded me straight up, of Fat Burger. Chilli Fat Fries, same burger options, lettuce, onion, relish and mustard bed for the patties, huge ice cream milkshakes! Everything was delicious. Huge crispy, salty, portions of French Fries. Came here for the first time ever, on a weekday evening, in a group of 8- and I'm soooo happy I did! Just walking in, super cute 50's decor, clean, well maintained, and the aroma was amazing! Everyone from the cashier to the cooks were so kind and accommodating. We had made two separate orders of 4, but they made sure to put them in at about the same time so we could eat together. You walk on up, order at the counter, and have a seat. I highly recommend dropping some extra love in that tip jar...they were tending to the restroom, cleaning the tables, and bringing out fresh, absolutely delicious food. These are hard working, genuinely awesome people who care about their customers and their experience! I ordered the beyond burger with onion rings, and devoured it all! The kid's meal was crazy ample in size, and the fries were fresh & yummy too! Also enjoyed at our table were chicken sandwiches, burgers, skinny fries, and beverages. They have of course ketchup, but I also recommend trying the bbq sauce and spicy ketchup... good times! We call down to put in orders and they put us on hold. We are on hold for a good 10 minutes, hang up because we've been on hold so long, call back and it's busy like they've taken the phone off the hook. Tried food at their food truck at a party-very tasty- and so decided to check out the actual restaurant. Was very disappointed. They were out of tomatoes, which is odd. I found it off putting that they charged for cheese separately and all the sauces separately l. Once we got our meals it was dry. The flavor of the meat was tasty and so was the bun, but the inside was lacking. No mayo, barely any lettuce, and the meat was too charred making the entire meal dry and heavy. Disappointed that the actual restaurant was much more expensive and no where as good as the food truck. I think I'll stick with in and out for half the price. read more

I wanted a burger and I wanted one badly whilst working in the Fresno/Clovis area. I had euphoric recall on how delicious Colorado Grill is and then remembered that there was a location not too far from me. I proceeded to the eatery. ::vroom:: Upon entry I noticed how busy it was but I did not let it discourage me from grabbing a bite. I ordered then looked around for a table and sat to wait. I was quoted a 20 min wait but actually received my meal in half that time. (Yaaaaasss) First bite of my meal and I was wiggling in my seat. (So delicious, so juicy, so flavorful). The steak fries were amazing as well and went down the pipe just as good as the burger. I also had a Capri Sun and fountain drink because I'm extra like that! Lol The thing that stood out to me the most was that not one person went without being greeted upon entry and without being thanked on the way out. (I don't overlook these things) The hospitality is amazing; there's love here, there's appreciation here and of course there is awesomely delicious burgers here! My only complaint is that "why can't Visalia have a Colorado Grill?". Some of the best burgers and now onion rings are at this establishment. My burger was delicious from the first bite down to the last. The last bite was the hardest, because I wanted more! But I was so incredibly full! My wife got the impossible burger which she said "lacked flavor", other places have better tasting ones, but she stands by getting a turkey burger from here if you're looking for a meat alternative. I really enjoy this place and think they make the best veggie burgers and chili cheese fries. Usually they have a lunch rush happening and so what I do is call ahead every time. Phone orders generally take anywhere between 10-20 minutes during lunch. But overall what I love about their burgers is everything is fresh and they always make sure the shreddings are just right - salad, chopped onions, tomatoes, and some really good sauce. October 4, 2024, I ate here for a late lunch. The restaurant was still busy with only (3) empty tables. As I entered, a beautiful young lady welcomed me in and asked how my day was going. The gentlemen working at the grill were laughing and teasing one another, and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. With the employees so happy, I knew I was in for a great meal. I ordered the 1/2 lb. Boulder burger, large fries, and a soda pop. The restaurant was clean and has a great car enthusiast vibe. Another beautiful young lady delivered my food to my table and brought me a bottle of ketchup and extra napkins without me having to ask. My food looked fantastic, and tasted even better! The young lady who brought my food out checked on me later and asked if I needed anything else. The first young lady came by shortly after and asked if I was enjoying the meal and if I needed anything else. Clean tables and restrooms, great service, happy employees, very nice portions, and great tasting food. Turned my good day into a great day!
