Every time I come here, I never know what level of customer service I'll get. This Burger King location has always been one of the worst but I've never had a problem with them until today. I came home to find they had left out an item (fries). so of course the first thing I do is call them and ask them to refund me my money over the phone the manager explained to me that they asked around and the consensus was they had already put the fries I was missing in the bag... so they don't really know what to do with my statement. When I give my order info to the drive through and I slow down my speech and make certain I annunciate very clearly " Large Coffee with 5 creams and NO SUGAR" that is what I expect. On several occasions now I have received coffee that is undrinkable. 5 creams AND 5 sugars makes 20 oz of garbage that I pay $2.25 for and pour down the drain at the office when I discover enough sweetener to cause a town-wide diabetes. outbreak. Just get it right please, you have the only drive through on my morning commute. This makes about $10 of coffee I have had to toss because somebody is not paying attention. I drove by this Burger King today and the parking lot was roped off with yellow tape. There was no one in sight at noon. All signs still up. I hope this one hasn't closed like the one that was in Parsippany. I don't know why the bad reviews - I've never had a problem at this Burger King and all the people have been pleasant. Coffee - well if someone offered a challenge to rate all possible places that serve mocha - i accept that challenge. This was service with a smile and well made Mocha Joe. It took much longer than i would have expected to order at the drive thru. The Burger King in Denville is in a GREAT location, right on the corner of Rt. 46 and Franklin Road. However, it's drive-thru is a serious problem, especially at lunchtime. The drive-thru was designed to hold about 3 cars in its line at a time...but more people use the drive-thru now, and it can become such a MESS! For this reason, I always go inside the Denville BK now. It's nice and clean, and it's hardly ever crowded (because everyone is on the drive-thru line). The service is a little slow sometimes, but the food is always hot and fresh and tasty. The sodas are self-serve, and thus you get free refills. Yay! read more

Worst customer experience! I ordered one of their limited time burgers that I thought had two patties. Got home and bit into it and found cheese cold. Opened it up and only had one patty. Called store and manager kept me on hold for five minutes and disconnected line. Called back and he said I got what I paid for. I asked if the burger I ordered came with two patties and he said yes. He then say I only paid for one. I told maybe it was put in wrong because I asked for a sandwich only, not the meal. The manager began arguing with me that I got what I paid for and that's it. Let me first say that I have been visiting this location for about 27 years now and the overall service and attitude of the employees has done nothing but gone down hill time and time again. I have never been to a fast food restaurant with employees that all act like its their first day every time. Each time I order from them the cashier seems to have no idea where the item is on the screen and always seems to need a manager....if you can call him that...to help them. One prior experience involved me waiting on line and a women coming from the drive-thru completely missed the turn and took out not only the garbage can, but the pole on the side as well. The astounding part is that no one behind the counter, especially the manager, noticed. The woman backed up and drove off into the parking lot to inspect her car. She was there for a good 20 minutes and no one even bothered to call the police or try to go talk to her about the accident. This is the type of attitude that has damaged this location beyond repair. In my most recent visit (8/9/14), when I arrived there were several "teens" (I guess) hanging around outside (which is fine, except for the one with no shirt on and his boxers completely exposed). I got to the register and placed my order. The cashier's nose ring didn't bother me too much..but come on, its not something to see with someone who is serving food. The manager's appearance is atrocious. His hair is greasier than some of the food and a manager should look and act the part, especially with his outfit (pants not where they should be and a shirt that is barely tucked in). I received my food and the fries were cold, not even luke-warm, but cold. It just seems that no one in that building even cares. The customer behind me is what got my full attention. The cashier kept confusing what he was saying and kept confusing him while he was ordering. The worst part had to be that he waited a good 20-25 minutes just for a few items of food, because no one behind that counter seemed to care. Before I finished eating, one of the girls that was hanging around outside came in and clearly knew the cashier. She was their with her 2 kids (neither of which has shoes on) and went up to the counter. She placed her one child on the counter...the food counter....really??? and acted like there was nothing wrong with it. The cashier was on her cell phone and talking to the girl, while not bothering to attend to the customers on line. At this point, the "manager" came out with his shirt completely unbuttoned screaming at the girl to take her other child to the bathroom, since she was walking around the restaurant. The two continued to go back and forth, but it was obvious that they knew each other, until the manager left. While this was going on, the cashier handed a cup of coffee to the girl who handed it to the customer waiting for it and all she could say was sorry. As I left the building, the girl was back with the group that was hanging outside the building and the manager was with them. It doesn't matter who you hang out with outside of a job, but don't do it while you're at the job. He let his "friends" do as they pleased outside and come in to cause sanitation issues. I will not be returning to this location...ever. It's incredible that someone is allowed to run a restaurant like this. read more

Check your bags! Go here often. Always 3 managers (in different shirts) and at least 3 staff members. All can clearly be seen. The manager takes the order for drive thru always asking "anything else?" after each item is ordered. Sooooo annoying, take the corporate training again. When I pay with an hourly employee and am handed a bag asking if the onion rings are in there, he asks me if they are, all while the manager is trying to act busy stuffing 200 straws into a bin that clearly should only hold 100. She never got involved. Then all 3 staff and the manager get involved, looking into my car like I was a 3 headed rabbit, assuring me that the rings are there. Only to get home and NO RINGS. Think of what it could be, I spend $22 and don't get all that I paid for because no one is willing to actually do their job! Too bad this is the only BK in sight from my house. Hopefull corporate can get involved so that the owners can make a profit and actually build a business. This is the consumers only way of informing of bad service. I don't want to be unreasonable when asking if my order is complete. Ownership should clearly care that their asset is being run into the ground by managers and staff that could care less about what they do! read more

When I agreed to order 4 the people who worked there couldn't process my order because they don't speak English. They also made me pour all of the sauce in my yarmulke. When they finally gave me my food, there was a mysterious white liquid on my chicken. They said it was there "special" sauce. Being a homosexual, I instantly recognized the flavor.
