    A breakfast burrito.
    Bruno N.

I came here before a matinee at the nearby multiplex, sat at the counter and ordered a breakfast burrito for lunch. It seemed good on the menu, but the actual experience was far below my expectations. There were plenty of other great-sounding diner food options, so I partially blame myself for my choice here. (I bet the waffles or the club sandwich are excellent.) My server was attentive, and I appreciated that. The better-than-average diner ambiance was a good experience, and every employee I encountered was friendly. I'll be back, but probably not for a breakfast burrito!

Excellent service. Served very hot and fresh. Really great flavor. The soup was also excellent. Great portion sizes.

Went to East Hanover Diner for breakfast and had a great experience. Our waitress, Amy, was absolutely wonderful, super sweet, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout. A few regulars walked in and greeted her by name. This place really has that classic neighborhood diner feel - regular customers, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, a very warm, local vibe. I ordered a cup of coffee and their breakfast special, which included two sunny side up eggs, home fries, and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The breakfast special ends at 11am, so make sure to get there early if you want to take advantage of it.

Best disco fries in Jersey! I know that's a heavy claim tbh most places the fries are either dry or have no cheese. You be the judge,

Located off a busy Route 10 East, this establishment was conveniently close after running an errand today. Upon entering, there is no ambience or great decor, but the place was clean. My partner, my mom and I were first-timer here at the East Hanover Diner and was able to get a table right away after being greeted by the host. Similar to most Jersey diners, everything was under the sun, with a wide variety to choose from their 12-page menu. We settled for one of their weekend specials consisting of broiled salmon with fries, broccoli and chicken noodle soup; a beef gyro sandwich with fries; and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and two onion rings. The food was well prepared and delicious. Our server was efficient and tried to smile (she wasn't a smiler). Reasonable prices, large portions, and took the salmon home for another meal. We can recommend this place.

It's a decent diner with quality food. The Philly cheesesteak was very good and the chef salad was exceptional. Service, was spot on and the ambience was a family friendly environment. That is about what you would expect for a Diner. Will definitely go back.

Unfortunately, this is the last time I'm ordering from Them for pick up. The last time I went to pick up my order I didn't see it ready so I waited. After a while I asked about the status and the woman said it's been picked up already. I said, "not by me?" And she describes a couple who took the order in detail. And I'm like okay...I don't know them, I don't have the food I paid for, so now what. She was unapologetic and seemed greatly annoyed, I'm sure it was to the person who took my order but I really didn't get much from Her and I had to follow up after a while and ask her "so am I getting a new order?" She said yes and I waited 15-20 mins. An inconvenience but it happens. This past weekend I ordered a western omelet, chicken and waffles, an extra side of home fries. I picked up, my order was there, I did look in the bag and checked that my omelet was there, the waffle was there, a separate container for the chicken, then there was a brown bag that was hefty enough to be home fries so I figured that's what it was. That was my mistake because when I got home, the bag was full of condiments and syrup. My review isn't because of the error, it's because of what happened next. I called the diner, explained I didn't get the extra home fries ordered at $5.29. I asked if they would just refund it on my card instead of me driving back. She says "oh, just tell us next time that we owe you home fries." Huh? How is that a realistic option? I asked if she could just refund me because that didn't work for me. She said to request it through where I ordered. I told her I ordered it from their website, not doordash, etc. She said to go on the website and request it. Ok. So I go on their website and see no option to request a refund. I emailed them. Of course, no response.

    This was on the placemat.

A Great Spot for Fresh, Flavorful Mediterranean Food!…read more We visited The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Florham Park, New Jersey, and had a wonderful meal. The setup is convenient--you order at the counter and then find a table to sit. There was plenty of seating available, the vibe is nice, and the staff are friendly. The food and drinks really impressed us across the board: * Lamb Souvlaki Plate: This was really tasty and came with french fries, a side salad, pita bread, and a delicious tzatziki sauce. * Chicken Gyro: My wife got this and absolutely loved it. * Lamb Souvlaki Gyro: My sister ordered this one and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. * Watermelon Salad: We tried this seasonal favorite, which came with cucumbers and feta cheese. It was incredibly refreshing, and you can tell their salads use high-quality ingredients. * Baklava Ice Cream: For dessert, we tried this and it was absolutely divine. * Mango Lemonade: To drink, we tried the mango lemonade. It was refreshing and tasted like it was made with real, authentic ingredients rather than artificial syrups. Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

From east to west there was: * Ritz: only the longtime residents went there out of habit * Golden Touch: the "Roach" for what you might find there, but our go-to as cheap teenagers * Whippany: tiny and food was decent * Brookside: the best atmosphere and food, our choice if we were willing to drive a bit Well, two of the above have changed hands - the RItz still has the name but isn't the same diner, and Golden Touch is now just East Hanover Diner. Brookside is gone for reasons unknown. Leaving Whippany Diner as the last place I've known since... I guess I can call it my childhood at this point, going on 30 years. And no, not much has changed. Stuck in the middle of a jughandle, you're still going to be tested trying to park without scratching your car or someone else's. Try their lot, or park across the jughandle ramp? And then cross that on foot? Huh. Once you make it inside, it feels as cramped as the parking lot. We were led to a table up against a mirror that's next to a door, so my right eye saw people coming and going while my left eye saw... me. Short story long: Ambiance is not doing any favors here. Service? We were attended to well, food came out on time. Only odd occurrence was my friend's water was refilled and mine wasn't, but ours were at the exact same level? I'll let that slide. Finally, the food. My friend's chicken fingers looked rather weak and burnt. My crock of French onion soup was fine; though rather light on onion, the cheese came through. The spinach and feta omelet was actually a winner - fluffy, full of chunks of feta. But the side of hash browns? I would more call them pressed frozen potato slices. The verdict: Took me way too many years to write this review. Some things never change. Maybe they should, but if they keep packing their parking lot and outliving their competitors, I guess they don't have to.

I was surprised to learn that when ordering food (not desserts or drinks) you get a cigar with it. You don't choose it, they do. I got a 'Romeo y Julieta Reserve,' so a quality cigar, not some random nonsense. Not truly sure if that is every time, or just your first time there, which for me it was. The decor is pretty cool ... dark and moody ... but there are a couple TVs with sports playing and high ceilings. The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu.
