    A breakfast burrito.

I came here before a matinee at the nearby multiplex, sat at the counter and ordered a breakfast burrito for lunch. It seemed good on the menu, but the actual experience was far below my expectations. There were plenty of other great-sounding diner food options, so I partially blame myself for my choice here. (I bet the waffles or the club sandwich are excellent.) My server was attentive, and I appreciated that. The better-than-average diner ambiance was a good experience, and every employee I encountered was friendly. I'll be back, but probably not for a breakfast burrito!

Excellent service. Served very hot and fresh. Really great flavor. The soup was also excellent. Great portion sizes.

Went to East Hanover Diner for breakfast and had a great experience. Our waitress, Amy, was absolutely wonderful, super sweet, friendly, and provided excellent service throughout. A few regulars walked in and greeted her by name. This place really has that classic neighborhood diner feel - regular customers, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, a very warm, local vibe. I ordered a cup of coffee and their breakfast special, which included two sunny side up eggs, home fries, and bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. The breakfast special ends at 11am, so make sure to get there early if you want to take advantage of it.

Best disco fries in Jersey! I know that's a heavy claim tbh most places the fries are either dry or have no cheese. You be the judge,

Located off a busy Route 10 East, this establishment was conveniently close after running an errand today. Upon entering, there is no ambience or great decor, but the place was clean. My partner, my mom and I were first-timer here at the East Hanover Diner and was able to get a table right away after being greeted by the host. Similar to most Jersey diners, everything was under the sun, with a wide variety to choose from their 12-page menu. We settled for one of their weekend specials consisting of broiled salmon with fries, broccoli and chicken noodle soup; a beef gyro sandwich with fries; and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries and two onion rings. The food was well prepared and delicious. Our server was efficient and tried to smile (she wasn't a smiler). Reasonable prices, large portions, and took the salmon home for another meal. We can recommend this place.

Unfortunately, this is the last time I'm ordering from Them for pick up. The last time I went to pick up my order I didn't see it ready so I waited. After a while I asked about the status and the woman said it's been picked up already. I said, "not by me?" And she describes a couple who took the order in detail. And I'm like okay...I don't know them, I don't have the food I paid for, so now what. She was unapologetic and seemed greatly annoyed, I'm sure it was to the person who took my order but I really didn't get much from Her and I had to follow up after a while and ask her "so am I getting a new order?" She said yes and I waited 15-20 mins. An inconvenience but it happens. This past weekend I ordered a western omelet, chicken and waffles, an extra side of home fries. I picked up, my order was there, I did look in the bag and checked that my omelet was there, the waffle was there, a separate container for the chicken, then there was a brown bag that was hefty enough to be home fries so I figured that's what it was. That was my mistake because when I got home, the bag was full of condiments and syrup. My review isn't because of the error, it's because of what happened next. I called the diner, explained I didn't get the extra home fries ordered at $5.29. I asked if they would just refund it on my card instead of me driving back. She says "oh, just tell us next time that we owe you home fries." Huh? How is that a realistic option? I asked if she could just refund me because that didn't work for me. She said to request it through where I ordered. I told her I ordered it from their website, not doordash, etc. She said to go on the website and request it. Ok. So I go on their website and see no option to request a refund. I emailed them. Of course, no response.

    This was on the placemat.

Stop by after a show, what a great New Jersey diner. Ordered breakfast at midnight and they did not disappoint. We will stop by again.

My prior reviews are under MP. When we first came into the Feathered Fox, the atmosphere appeared to have a much more sexy deeper color vibe, than previous years. Today, Damian was our wonderful server. Here it begins with Cocktails! 18.00 each: - Friend in the Meadow w/ Titos (Birdie glass with feathers). It had a lovely, welcoming and enjoyable sweetness. - Pineapple Grill with Casamigos Meczal. Tasted exactly like a mildly grilled sweet pineapple with suddenly a Kick! Entree Time! I ordered the Wagyu Steak and Scrambled Eggs $38.00. The steak was off the charts delicious. A side of lightly seasoned Foxy Fries accompanied the meal. All the items were prepared and seasoned beautifully. My Bf ordered the French Toast $19.00. It was made out of Chocolate Babka with maple infused syrup. He really enjoyed it. Dessert Finale! We shared a super delicious Lemon Olive Oil Cake $14.00. Toasted Meringue topped the cake. The cake was dense, but still moist and Very Lemony. Highly Recommend!!!! All throughout our meal, someone was coming around filling our water glasses. Definitely recommend The Feathered Fox! A large parking lot is available.

But I digress... - Little Gem Classic Caesar Salad: Even a run-of-the-mill commoner like this tasted noticeably crisper and fresher than many recent salads I've had. And the dressing wasn't loaded with cream, for a change. - Strigoli Seafood Pasta: Light, refreshing, seafood pasta tastiness with a small handful of scallops, crab and shrimp in a lemon-thyme reduction--I just could've used about 30% more of it to justify the $39 price point. This isn't the West Village..... - Classic Creamed Spinach: Too salty. Skip this. - Mashed Potato Rings: On the flip side, get this for one of the most unique and creative ways you can ever enjoy fried potato. Mmmm....I wasn't sure if I wanted to consume the starch or toss it onto a pole. - Passion Fruit Panna Cotta with Dulce de Leche: A spontaneous splurge, but we were well-rewarded with a tasty combination of bright gelatin, creamy dark sugar, refreshing lychee sorbet, and a smokey black sesame shortbread cookie to boot. Service was friendly and attentive despite the bust weekend dinner crowd and the fact that we were seated on the packed patio overlooking the lovely marina. The drinks we got were all lovely too, but sadly I can't remember what we got. The fresh salty air must've fogged my memory.

I was part of a party of 2, and our combined meals, two coffees, one juice, and one side came out to be around $30, which is more than reasonable for how much food you get. The space itself is somewhat outdated, but like I said, it's a classic diner. If you're headed to a diner, I'd assume you're not looking for somewhere especially upscale. All in all, I recommend Brookside Diner for breakfast or brunch! The price for the portion and quality makes it worth it.

I finally gave it a try after hearing so much hype since it opened its first location in the area, and I honestly didn't quite get it. Ordered takeout, and everything you see pictured came out to around $100, which set the expectations a bit higher. Unfortunately, most of the food were pretty average.....tavern food that leaned more "heat and serve" than freshly made. A lot of it tasted like it could've been toasted straight from frozen packaging, which was disappointing given the price point. As for dessert, the cookies definitely tasted store bought, which kind of summed up the overall experience. Not terrible, but not memorable either. The wings tasted frozen rather than fresh and were sent back. The baby back ribs arrived room temperature at best, which was disappointing. The $28 lobster roll was very petite; while the server did give a heads-up, it was still underwhelming once it arrived. To be fair, the manager, Charlotte, genuinely tried to make things right and handled the situation professionally. At that point, though, we weren't in the mood to risk further disappointment, so we chose not to continue. Overall, this location didn't live up to the expectations set by past experiences at other Office Bar & Grill locations--especially the one in Montclair. I truly wanted this visit to feel like a throwback, but instead it felt inconsistent and forgettable.
