    Jr. Sando Combo

First time ordering the Jr. Sando Combo which is much smaller than the Chicken Sando that I normally order. This equates to a smaller chicken versus breading/seasoning ratio. Not as appetizing. I lowered my rating today because of the waffle fries which were not good. They looked and tasted super greasy as if they were old and refried. Not appetizing at all. Customers know the difference! The facility and rest room however remains pretty clean (although the trash bins in the front needed emptying). I will still go back but will wait a bit longer to miss the food. My previous reviews were higher so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

The junior chicken sandwich is bigger than I expected. The gentleman who took my order was very nice and explained the sauces to me. I picked the mild, figuring it would be dull. It had a nice kick to it. My mouth wasn't on fire but if you don't want any spice, try the BBQ. The bathroom was not the best facility in the world. There was no soap and the only option to dry hands is an air dryer. It was pretty much what I expected from a fast food place.

Hangry Joes was pretty solid. We ordered the chicken sandwich with waffle fries. A waffle with tenders and Korean flavored chicken nuggets. The sandwich was good. A hefty portion of chicken breast with all the fixings. The tenders were very good also. Came with a powdered sugar sprinkled waffle. They could work on the waffle a lil bit. I do not care for that "cakey" kinda batter. It has to be light n fluffy and more crispier. The chicken nuggets were pretty good also. Great Korean seasoning on them. It's counter service. Pickup and order at counter. The place was pretty spacious from inside. Plenty of seating and tables. I enjoyed the jams that were playing that day.

Giant sized fried chicken, in no-spicy to spicy-with-a-waiver levels, and they are easily shared. The coleslaw was ok, I prefer less, and the pickle and chicken (mild) was very good in a junior size for one person. The big sandwich is simply too big - like Nadine said, it'd be better sliced lengthwise in half to make it easier to eat. The Korean chicken nuggets - skip, I've had better sauce and more crispy chicken which is what this missed. The loaded fries - definitely enough for 2+ people to share as a best value. No more bubble tea, they have some signs up. Service - nonchalant. The machine for ordering didn't work, and the worker at the cash register didn't look up from his phone until I was standing and waiting in front of him. The wait was a bit long - but that thick of chicken will take time to fry. Order ahead!

I was surprisingly impressed by this sandwich. It was recommended by my boss so I ordered it for both of us. The sauce and spiciness was very on point, but the bun was also a selling point for me. The waffle fries were better than many waffle fries I have had, but they were a little cold by the time they were delivered.

Fantastic hot chicken Chicken sando was so flavorful. The coleslaw was on the sweet side and went really well with the hot chicken Got hot flavor which was perfect. Didn't need water so maybe could go to hottest but I think with hot I can appreciate the flavor more Huge chicken. Only complaint is bun is kinda thick but that's easy to solve. Ample parking

I think I found my local Hot Lola's (from D.C.) Word for word identical: This may be the simplest 5 star review ever. * Korean inspired southern-style chicken. * Korean staff, friendly and authentic. * The hottest spice level is SERIOUSLY HOT!! They actually do it here! I had to convince them over their protests. It was a dry rub full of ghost pepper. Some sweat-panged minutes later as I finished the chicken, I decided the pain I would experience later (it hurt to pee! this happens! i looked it up and it takes SO MUCH CAPSAICIN) was worth the great food and heated experience. (Oh, you can get less than the top level. I would if I were anyone but me.) ... I'm now nervous to pee...

Decided to try this new fried chicken place as I had not heard much about it l but noticed it replaced the smash burger! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. I highly recent the Korean fried chicken nuggets and the fried chicken in general. The flavor is good and the sauce makes it even better. It definitely takes its name Nashville hot seriously as the spicy level is worthy of some of the strongest tastebuds. I prefer the mild stuff though. Overall great place! Tastes of Nashville and Korean cuisine. It is really worth it and delicious.

Really great food! Ever since I saw this open I was super excited to check this place out and it's never disappointed. I've had at least 4 different items and each were fantastic. The chicken in any form is Crispy, juicy and the seasoning is amazing. My personal favorite has been with the waffle which tastes like a funnel cake and takes me back to carnival days as a kid. Service is fast and friendly and the seating area is clean. I keep coming back and recommend it to anyone who like chicken and especially likes spicy.

I've tried a few--Popeyes, fil-a, BK, Fuku, McD, Shake Shack, Raising Canes, KFC. Everyone's got a version of the chicken sandwich. And out of the pool of players, Hangry Joes Chicken "Sando" is the standout. Def a must try! Game changer. They had some sauce in the combo that reminded me of the raising canes sauce. Waffle fries Korean chicken nuggets were solid players. But again, the sandwich is a standout. Ambiance, nothing special, nothing terrible. Service from the brief encounter seemed solid--mobile order pick up; everything was ready and packaged well, nice Korean lady promptly handed me with a smile.

    Shawns Hungry ..

Crazy Big Nashville style crispy chicken sandwiches. Chicken portions are big on the sandwiches they don't even fit in the bun. Had nice crispy sweet coleslaw and fresh sweet pickles on top of a huge crispy fried juicy chicken breast on a soft bun and a hangry sauce. There different heat levels and one requires you to sign a waver. I got the mild heat seasoning which was really flavorful and had a slight kick to it. The waffle fries are super crispy and seasoned. They have big juicy crispy wings that you can get with sauce or dry rub. They have 6 of each to choose from. Creamy Mac and cheese. I also had a good pineapple fruit tea. I'd like to go back and try the Korean chicken nuggets and the chicken and waffles.

    * This is the review to read if your thinking about getting the Angry Hot spice level.... DON'T. Sincerely, My korean bf whose eaten spicy food his entire life who cares about your safety. No seriously, this place is a gem that just opened but I can see being a staple of the area. Variety of items avaliable to the chicken lover but nothing can beat the classic sandwich! The meat was super juicy yet crispy, the bun was perfect. and the fries put Chikfila's to shame. It was so filling that we shared a single sandwich together as we had to give up on the angry hot one. To put it into perspective, my bf called it hotter than CluckU's 911 sauce with a sharper kick, if your familiar with it. We'll be back again, but ordering one level less than we ordered today. Medium spice would probably be the perfect level for me. He'll be ordering hot level next.

    Korean Chicken Nuggets with Rice

Ultra generous portion sizes, reasonably priced menu, amazing chicken - I'm in! Must have: - Chicken Sando is this massive sandwich that will fill up even the most hungry human. Fantastically crisp and full of actual chicken (not breading), forget Chick-fil-A, this is the place to go. - Waffle fries here are crisp but still soft in the middle. This is not your standard overfried and super dry waffle fry. Only have if you're super hungry: - Korean Chicken Nuggets is basically two (2!) POUNDS of food. Fried nuggets with a large serving of rice on the side. Make sure to ask for extra sauce of your choice to pour over the rice.

NOTE: the beef ribs that everyone's talking about are sliced short ribs. Don't think those big bone beef ribs you get at American BBQ joints. Devil is in the details. What made this place a 3, star is that the staff doesn't introduce the menu and items well. For example, I got the beef ribs with vegetables and sweet plantains (both VERY good btw), they failed to explain that there are SPICY PICKLED VEGETABLES THAT GOES WITH IT. I took a bite of the cauliflower thinking it was the vegetables side, and spat it right out because it's the Portuguese style pickled veggies. If someone didn't eat spicy that would definitely mess them up. Ambiance? None, it's basically a small bodega with 3 pairs of booth seats and 5 bar seats. How is it colder in the restaurant than outside (it is currently March)

At this location, parking is tight, unless you're coming at an off hour. The Shack occupies a corner spot, slightly near one of the main entrances of the parking lot, so you know their will be minor traffic jams when several incoming vehicles have this place set as the final destination. The inside has a concrete, industrial look. However, with the glass windows, plenty of sunlight can penetrate the place. The bathrooms are located in the back. Then, there are the entrances. There's the front, main entrance, near the register, and the back entrance where you can make a quick exit if needed. It's located by the bathrooms. The ketchup and water pumps are easy to use. As for ordering, get in line, or pre-order with their app. If eating in, you'll get a buzzer that lets you know when your meal is ready. As for food? Well it's Shake Shack and pretty standardized as Shake Shacks go. They have beef, chicken, hotdogs, shakes, fries, and doggie treats. Generally you can mix and match items. Burger with fries? (Single? Double? Triple? With or without cheese? Breaded and fried Portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese? Chicken? Bacon? You want a hotdog instead?--actually their dogs are kinda salty, so perhaps stick with their potato bunned offerings instead). I haven't had their shakes, but legends say they're quite thick. Their fries are crinkle cut, and as far as fries go, they just seem like deep fried potatoes with salt on them, but not necessarily married. When they cooldown, they're much less enjoyable. I've mostly stuck with their burgers. However, I am partial to In-N-Out, and price wise, you might want to consider how much value you get out of dining here. But if you're shopping in the area, or if you are craving some kind of fast food burger, this place isn't a bad option.

Somewhere between a warehouse club and a county fair concession stand, Five Guys has somehow created a vibe that says, "Yes, this meal may shorten your lifespan, but what a glorious ride it'll be."
