The staff were overzealous to say "Welcome to Moes" whenever the door opened (they even said it to one of their own employees). You could tell they were all new and eager to help the customers out. It's rare you find that, and I hope they keep up the enthusiasm. So, this location was very clean and lots of table options. Comfy booths, family style high-top, or long bench seating. My FAVORITE part of the whole thing was the pre-made salsa containers at the Salsa Bar. So easy to grab and go, instead of having to scoop the salsa yourself like most other Moes. Seems trivial but it makes a huge difference. Please don't stop doing this, and I hope other locations take note. Also liked that they give you your chips in a separate bag (we didn't finish ours so we actually took them with us instead of throwing away what we normally don't eat, was a great snack for later). Or when you go inside, they aren't able to hand pennies back that are owed to you because they "are out of pennies"? Seems to me this practice would add up to a good sum of extra money for this McDonalds after a while. Today, the reason the cashier at the drive-thru gave me for keeping change is that they put it in the outside Ronald McDonald collection box. Well, okay, but since the box is located outside and just below the drive-thru, and the change is truly mine, don't you think I should be able to make the choice of where I want my change to go? I am very physically able to drop it in the box myself if I choose to. Also, it would be most appropriate and courteous if the cashiers would ask customers first if they mind McDonalds keeping their change rather than saying "thank you" and shutting the window without any mention or intent of not returning money owed to customers. I would be very interested in knowing how much money from this particular restaurant goes to the Ronald McDonald kids since that's the excuse I got today. Is there a record kept of this? Wonder if this McDonalds would give customers their order if customers were short on change? Most of the employees at this restaurant are very nice, polite and courteous, and in my opinion, do a good job.
