I love Burger King! Awesome fast food always fresh and extra hot, great customer service

The food service was slow, the cleanliness of the restaurant could use some work too. I ordered a sandwich with no mayonnaise and add cheese and it took 20 minutes for me to receive it. I got it with no cheese so I politely asked for them to add cheese. They instead discarded my sandwich and made a whole new one but this time it had the cheese and the mayonnaise I didn't ask for. I politely asked if they could fix it again and one of the workers turned around with an attitude and told her co-worker "the customer keeps changing his mind" in a rude away. When in fact I never changed my mind they simply just got it wrong, I believe the saying is "the customer is always right". Maybe it changed? read more

Not sure what it is with fast food places that have a captive stream of customers who think that it's ok to provide crappy service. Drive through is never open. They will usually forget something in your order. You got two options. One go with it or two let them know they forgot something and wait until the rest of your food is cold to get it. Drink machine was broke with no ice and hot drinks being dispensed on this visit. I bring it up and the answer is yes it's not working. Why would you not tell customers until after they spend money. Super slow Burger King and sometimes might get the order right. Recommend skipping this Burger King if you can

Look, I know you're thinking- Burger King, it can't be that bad, right? Well, this one is-that bad. I'll start with the service. The term "Military Brat" comes to mind when at any one point, you can watch one of these 'employees" openly complain about their senior NCO parent making them "work there" because they need to "learn responsibility" and name drop their father "is the CSM of ---- and I don't have to take this". Cool, however I came to order a #1, light on the teen angst. Secondly, for the home of the Culinary Center of Excellence, these employees don't know the meaning of the danger zone of temperatures for foods. Does my Whopper have to be a cool 68 degrees core temp for it to be served to me? 40-140 degrees is the safe range for food temperatures, I suspect they are not using the flame broil grill to cook this food. Thirdly, don't try to order food between 0900-1900, ever unless you want to wait with literally no less than 30 junior-enlisted students (read: same age as employees) too busy with their cell phones and hands in their pockets to place an order with any semblance of intelligence. In summary- You will leave with a sense of under-cooked disappointment and a newly lost respect for the military and if that's having it your way- you can go choke on a Super Seven Incher as I will never eat there again. read more

In the 4 years I've gone here, it stays consistent. You get your average food and waiting at the drive thru isn't that long. I would avoid this place on the weekends due to the swarm of AIT who fill the place up. Ice cream machine is broken 3 out of 5 times usually. They had this 10 nuggets for $1.49, and that's was one of the best deals I got. Ordered 40 of them. Overall, this is your average BK. Staff is nicer than the others though. read more

Not too bad a Burger King. Located right at Fort Lee as a stand-alone location with a pretty efficient drive-thru I also found the service accurate and straightforward. I don't think it's fun to bash an establishment because of 1 bad experience but this place is out of control. The overall building is not bad. Nice looking decor. Seating area has a TV (see others photos) with news on. Separate drink bar and condiment bar. And generally the food with keep you alive it appears eatable. HOWEVER as others have stated this place is so slow. Example from tonight I ordered a #2 combo lrg w/mocha frappe and 2 honey mustard crispy wraps. Cashed out at 6:34pm order received at 6:46pm. Doesn't seem long but that's 12 mins. Noone was in line in front of me (not busy) imagine if they had been busy. Not a bad lobby as I said but it is rarely maintained probably because they makes it clear that they don't give a crap. Funny- when the chicken came out of the deep fryer I watched the employee instantly grab a chicken with her hand and burn herself. Tongs = for sanitation and safety. read more

The employee's are very, very slow. Even when there are very few people in line they stand around and talk and forget parts of your order sometimes, but when there is a line of 10 soldiers or so, forget about getting your food within the hour. Every time I've gone inside to eat I've had to get a napkin and wipe down a table because they apparently do not clean their lobby. The food is typical Burger King food. I try to avoid this place and I really wouldn't go here at all if it wasn't one of the very few restaurants on base. read more

Definitely the worst Army Base Burger King...and that says a lot because they are all garbage. I ordered a Fish sandwich combo meal. - The fish was salty, the lettuce was stringy and the mayo was dripping out of it...disgusting. - The medium drink was straight syrup. - The fries were over-salted, but piping hot. It took 20 minutes to make it through the short line and as usual, some snot-nosed CSM's daughter couldn't figure out how to use the cash register. I got no receipt and don't even know how much I was charged. This isn't the first time I have had issues with this particular store, and now, I will never return...straight garbage. read more

Extremely Slow Service and Incorrect Orders! In general, I am an extremely patient and understanding person, but this particular Burger King on Mahone Ave at Fort Lee has consistently been the worst fast food restaurant I have ever been to in my life. At this point, I have to speak up because the issues I've experienced are unusual for any fast food restaurant and unacceptable. It doesn't matter if you go through the drive thru or walk inside, the wait time has ranged anywhere from 10-20 minutes to receive my food. These wait times are not dependent on the time of the day because I've experienced these wait times in the middle of the afternoon when there are no customers present. While the people that work seem to be nice, they are unable to multitask and they move extremely slow. There is absolutely no sense of urgency by the workers to take your order or ensure your order is fulfilled in a timely manner. Also, my orders have been incorrect 3 out of my last 5 visits. I've specifically asked for certain things (cheese, no mayo, ketchup, BBQ sauce, napkins, etc) with my orders, but these simple requests are too much for them to manage and they consistently mess something up. Today, I ordered 10 nuggets and when I got to my room, there were only nine nuggets and there was no BBQ sauce in the bag (yes, they asked me and I requested it). Lastly, the inside of the Burger King is filthy. For example, the soda machine behind the drive thru window has brown sticky residue dripping down the side of the machine and all over the side of the wall and surrounding equipment. It's pretty disgusting because the soda cups were sitting upside down on the nasty counter top. Stay away, save your money, and don't waste your time. The manager should be fired! read more

There's nobody inside ever! Clean, friendly staff. I don't enjoy the place much because of the tv constantly being on...

This is the worse Burger King I've ever been to and I didn't even order. I pulled up to the drive thru and the little automated message came on advertising the new items after it went off I proceeded to place my order. When I said what I wanted there was no reply, so I sat there a few more seconds and then I said hello. No response. I say hello again no response. I waited almost a minute before I decided to drive up to the window. I drove up to the first window and no one was there. So I drove to the second window, no one was there either. I thought maybe they're closed then as I was pulling off I see about 4 workers drinking and eating by the registers in the front. I stopped for a second so they could see me, I gave them the meanest look and drove off. I looked to see if they were closed and they weren't. I will be making a complaint with their management. read more

Food was good we went through the drive thru. Everything in our order was correct but it took forever to receive it..we were in line for about 20 minutes and there were only 2 cars ahead of us. Slow as all get out. I sat at the order window in my car for eight minutes after the lady said please wait. Always a line and never a since of ergency, but like the other reader posted food was Burger King, not bad and not great. Sucks that you are stuck with it and they don't care because its one of two drive thrus on post and the other (Popeyes their drive thue is usually closed for lunch for some dunb reason) read more

This location is 0 for 2. Both visits they gave me something other than what I ordered. I make it easy for them too by ordering by number, no special additions or omissions just a simple #2 an they still mess it up. Total apathy by the staff reflects the poor management. This must b the worlds worse Burger King from service to the food and upkeep.. I have gone here several times and EVERY time something was messed up. It's crazy but you really are better off going off base ..my fries were soggy every time I once got the "wooden cork stem" chunk of lettuce in my sandwhich..how could u not notice it I regret deleting the pic I had of it. I gave 2 stars because the food is your typical Burger King fare. But the other reviews are not exaggerating about how long it takes to receive your food. It's been a really long time since I've been inside so o can't speak on that, but the drive through is ridiculously slow. The food has always been hot when I got it but those wait times are no joke. food is always cold, waited in line for 25 minutes only because i could not get out of line, received my food and drove home only to find out they gave me the wrong order, i went into the store and everything was dirty breakfast food on the floor behind the counter and it was 5pm, no one was wearing gloves, they were rude and this is not the first time. sanitation is out the window and all they do is stand around and talk to each other. clearly no one in this store even knows what serv-safe is because if they went through the class they would at least care, this shows the manager does not care about the restaurant. it should be closed down so they can clean it. read more
