Me and my husband Jose were the way to Mexico for a beautiful trip to see the place and then we stopped and went inside to his favorite place McDonald's because we are pretty broke to afford anything else so when we sat down the table was super crusty and it smelled like absolute buns over there and I don't Mean the kind you eat and then when our food came it toke them sooo long to cook 10 chicken nuggets and a burger like that's so unprofessional like if you ask me and the food was okay I guess then when I went to the bathroom to take a dump it smelled like ahh and the air fresheners do not work!!! Food was typical for McDonalds, fries were overdone and my BigMac was thrown together, but the main problem was the owner/manager. He sat in the dining room holding court like Don Corlione with a super loud voice setting schedules reprimanding employees, and complaining about inventory shortages. Worst McDonald's award for management!!! For the simple reason since when does McDonald's charge a dollar for a cup of ice water??? Then we'll move on to what they call a sausage, egg McMuffin. I guess they think it's ok to sorta scramble the egg. Then the other one yeah they broke the yoke but I'm not sure what the BLACK is in the egg. I'm sorry but I've never had a black yolk. Staff is unbelievably KIND! Today, during our visit for lunch, an item we ordered was incorrect. 4 of the team members spoke to me and assured me that they would correct it. Immediately a team member went back to the kitchen and remade my sandwich - and then went as far as coming back with two cheeseburgers instead of just one for us! This staff is awesome! This McDonald's is very slow. As long as the line was, I expected my food to be hot. It wasn't. All I got was a Happy Meal. The staff wasn't friendly. There is plenty of parking. There's other restaurants and stores nearby. If I'm starving and there's nothing else available, I will go back. I definitely will look elsewhere first though. read more

Avoid this location at all cost - okay maybe not "all cost". For instance, if the zombie apocalypse happens, you'll be safe inside; smart zombies won't eat here and will limp, crawl and saunter on by. Excessively long wait times in the drive-thru queue. Is excessive too subjective a word? Whatever you consider unacceptable will do. Cold, stale and old food. Friendly enough service from some but not enough to make up for the shortcomings. read more

The worst and most disrespectful experience I've ever had at a McDonald's. I made an order through the app and received the wrong food in the drive-through. When I went inside to ask for the corrected order, the employees in the manager were incredibly disrespectful. The manager cut me off multiple times when trying to discuss the issue and have a simple conversation. Ordered through DoorDash and doordash guy let us know that the restaurant was busy and when he pulled up to get our food they said that it never came up on the screen so they would be making it fresh and it would be a few minutes this McDonald is right across the street from my house so it literally takes about 3 minutes if that to get to my house. I normally wouldn't write a review about fast food chains but I really enjoy eating at this chain because the staff are very friendly and it's pretty clean compared to other McDonald's I've been to. I go here time to time with my coworkers for lunch and we just order through the kiosk. It's well maintained, clean, and I don't feel gross touching a screen countless people have touched before me. The tables have always been kept clean and hardly ever have I seen garbage or food pieces laying around compared to other fast food places I've been to. The best part is when they deliver the food to you. You get this numbered marker and the staff will bring you the food tray which is a feature I've never seen at other McDonald's. It's always been the cashier calling your number out to come pick up your food. At the end of the day, the food tastes like any other McDonald's but I enjoy the atmosphere for this one. I'm still waiting outside store along with 5 other vehicles!! It's now been 25 minutes and only 1 vehicle has been served and left!! Still 5 of us waiting!! The tea was garbage and service horrible!! Not to mention I waited at the intercom for 10 mins just to have to pull forward and make my order at the window because no one answered at the intercom!! I ordered a Big Mac Bacon with Cheesy bacon fries and a coke. Got up to the window to find out that the order taker rung me up for a bacon quarter pounder. the cashier that tooky money was friendly and changed it. then I worker yell that I changed my order at the last minute which was completely a lie. The customer service is usually very good here which is the only reason I even gave it two stars. This is one of the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. Every time I come here the drive thru line is long and I usually sit in it for close to ten minutes or more. The food usually tastes freshly made but the long lines make it almost not worth it. One morning I ordered 2 burritos - they were still frozen ! I bit into it and the peppers inside were ice! Both of them were that way. I went back and they gave me two hot ones. The next time I decided to give them a try again I ordered a quarter pounder and I like my meat well done - it was red inside - bleeding a little. Honestly, one would think that McDonalds would excel a few things they are "famous" for like French Fries and Apple Pies but this particular restaurant finds a way every time to screw them up one way or another. Today for example they failed to properly monitor there Apple pie sales/stockade so when the poor unlucky bastard me) tried to order two I was eventually told, after paying for them and waiting 5 mins, that I was supposed to be told that it would take 12 mins. 12 mins to reheat an already cooked pie. Hmmmm. As a reward for my patience and patronage but not noticed until I arrived home from their glacier paced drive thru did I notice that my "world famous" French fries only spent at best a minute in the oil or the oil was only setting at 150 degrees, one of the two. Either way I have a large container of mostly raw, limp, greasy fries. I normally give these types of places a few chances to make things better but this one is now off my list of places to grab something quick, at least until they can hire better management to properly run a restaurant. Why can't McDonalds have consistency when making the coffee drinks? If you are gonna try and compete with the others for a share of the coffee empire, please train your employees the make them correct. On more than one occasion at this location, I have had to send my drink back so someone could remake it and the other day, the manager remade it because the cashier said "I really don't know how to make them" after she butchered my frappe and low and behold, the manager didn't check my order that said no whip or chocolate drizzle and he remade it wrong. I was so frustrated, I drove off and scraped the stuff off. This is not the first time I've had this happen at a McDonalds but this has happened more than a few times. SMH... read more

I truly had a bad experience at the McDonald's in Hopewell, Va. I do not recommend the economical place. My mom and I stopped by to get dinner before Bible Class last Wednesday. We order one bacon and cheddar fries $4.98 and it looked like an order of extra small fries, a fish filet, chicken nuggets, cheeseburger and two apple pies. We went in drive-thru stayed behind 6 cars total 14 minutes, paid for order then was told to pulled up and park because order wasn't ready. Huh, it wasn't much what we brought. We stayed parked for 12 minutes, guy comes out with two Apple pies and sorry for the wait. Huh, where is the rest of the good. He said, oh I didn't know you ordered other food. How dumb is that. Mom and I were furious. So we went back around and spoke to the manager, because it was time to go to Bible Class. She reassured us when we returned in an hour we would have our food fresh and she would personally give it to us. We came back, manager claimed that she forget then rushed to fix the food, in which wasn't good. Then, she got an attitude. What a wench. The service and food are pathetic.
