Rude employees, extreme drive thru wait time , dirty inside , cold food etc. this is the only fast food place I EVER had to sit in a drive thru almost 30 mins to get my online order or even place an order. By time you get to the window you would think the wait would be because they making orders fresh but NO the food be cold when you get it. HOW? It makes no sense why it takes 30 mins to get your food. This Wendy's is HORRIBLE. I paid for food on the app, went to the location and tried to pick up. The inside is closed almost everyday all day, so went to the drive thru, waited 24 minutes, they finally opened inside so went inside to pickup our already paid for food since there was a 9 car wait. They had someone at the register in drive thru just standing there while the person sat in the drive thru in the same spot for 13 minutes hadn't even ordered and he had no one at the window. Food was extremely cold when I got it and it took total 42 minutes for FAST food. Can't WAIT for Cookout next door to open. I went to the drive thru today and ordered their Parmesan Caesar Chicken Salad. I didn't look inside the bag before I drove off because I trusted they got my order correct. When I got home, I noticed they did get my order correct; however, what they did not get correct was the quality of the salad. The lettuce was brown, wilted, and watery, and the chicken smelled extremely sour; it almost made me vomit. This was clearly a very old, pre-made and packaged salad. I am honestly shocked that this Wendy's has not been shut down because this if food poisoning waiting to happen. I clearly threw the salad away. I am not sure how the rest of their food is, but if you are thinking about ordering a salad, think again... I have attached a picture of the salad Wendy's advertises as well as the brown, soggy salad I received today. I must have forgotten how chitty this establishment is. My wife ordered today from the app while shopping across the street. When we got there the last ne was backed up to the street, after two ppl got out of line and 20 minutes later we arrived at the window. Our bag was small for what we ordered and I asked my wife to check the order. She confirmed that we were missing a chili and chicken nuggets order. The bitch in the window said "it's not showing on my order" my wife confirmed the order on her app was right. I told this young window lady to just add the chilli and chicken nuggets and we will pay cash. This bitch had the nerve to say, "you'll have to go to the back of the line!" Once I got to the window, there were 3 or 4 people just hanging around while the one person was working. Don't know who supervises them, but that person should get fired. Where do I start? 8pm 3/19/24 the drive thru line is around the building and the wait was over 30 mins from order to food in hand. Pull up to the window and was asked what I ordered. I see the manager and almost every employee in the restaurant laughing, goofing off and playing on their phones with no since of urgency whatsoever about the line of cars around the building. After sitting there for ten mins the woman working the window (while playing on her phone) asks me for a third time what I ordered. Then they handed me my food and it was the wrong order. Lest we lose our sanity... A man revved his engine, this is what happened to his girlfriend and almost his children. We strongly suspect food poisoning, We think particularly the fries. Friday, June 17th, 11pm to 12:30 A.M., Saturday, June 18th. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwitch combo, extra mayo, large, as we often do, we're regulars, almost every day. The Good: the staff were nice, pleasant, and polite. The Bad: the food was mediocre at best. The Ugly: the service was incredibly slow. We waited 20 minutes for a few meals. When we received our order the nuggets were cold and dried out probably left over from lunch. And my wife's chicken Asiago tasted like the bacon had turned bad. Our tour group/bus made the unfortunate decision to stop here thanks to a driver who wanted an easy place to turn his bus around. Several people got food poisoning. They served dried out burgers that had probably been sitting under a heat lamp for a day or more. This was the likely bacterial culprit, although it could have been the frosty or ice machines, which require regular cleaning. And judging from the disgusting bathrooms, nothing in this place is ever cleaned. The manager should be fired, and the health department should shut this place down. But judging from the look of this run down county/town, there probably isn't a health department. Travelers beware. Drive a little farther south to Emporia or north to Richmond. No hello or welcome to Wendy's. Lady said "Cash only, our credit machine does not work." I have been to this Wendy's several times because I work at Fort Lee. Bottom of the barrel customer service. Place is filthy behind the counter. Fries are not hot. Last time when I took the fries back and told the manager they were not hot, she stuck her finger in the middle of the cup of fries, gave me a dirty look, shook her head and then got me another order of fries without saying a word. A typical Wendy's, yes the employee's can be a little rude and slow but the majority of the time I've had good service here. They have never messed up my food and they put lots of cheese on the cheese fries :) The drive through can get a little crowded though. read more
