It's been about 4 years since I've been to The Burger Spot, but the food and service is still as great as I remember it to be. I used the ordering service through their website and put in my order for pickup. I walked into The Burger Spot and went to the cashier. My order was behind the counter and ready for pickup. My go to speciality burger is Swiss ($15.95). Swiss comes with swiss, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. Burgers are served with fries. The burger was juicy and just the way I remember it to be. The fries are very crispy and the white sauce it comes with is very good. My husband ordered one of the specials, the Tamarind Cilantro Chicken Sandwich ($16.54). This sandwich is grilled chicken with pepper jack cheese, avocado, arugula, topped with homemade Tamarind cilantro salsa on ciabatta. The sandwich was also served with a side of fries, but you can substitute it for others like he chose 1/2 Sweet Potato / 1/2 Onion Rings for $2.07 more. There were only a few onion rings, but they are big. The sandwich was packed with flavors. The Burger Spot is the spot for burgers and fries. There are a few tables inside and when the weather is nice, there are tables set up outside as well. Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

So bummed. If the burger were AS good as Shake Shack, I would have been OK paying for the burger because it's GC. I get it but it wasn't even that. Soft tacos wrapped in corn tortillas made with large seared shrimp were delicious. I liked that they didn't use too much cojita cheese in the tacos, but plenty of healthy avo. I didn't much care for the spicing of my marinated steak taco, but my partner loved it so no accounting for tastes :) Each item comes with a choice of two sauces so I tried them all. The pico and green sauce were my personal faves, I used them liberally to spice things up. Payment and everything went through but there were wet sign cones in both of the drive thru lanes. My partner and I then walked to the door to figure out how can we get our food. A nice male employee told us that they were closed until 6AM. My partner and I started inquiring on how we could get our money back, he went to get the manager. It was this old grumpy lady who is the early AM manager and respectfully needs to be retrained. My partner asked about how do we get a refund. The lady says, " I don't know". That's cool and all to not know but she didn't stop there. She says, " No money, no food" and threw her hands up shrugging oh well. She then closes the window and walks off. I think it's crazy that establishments can take your money, have no detailed refund policy and say "oh well" that's your issue. Point of this review.
