Waited for 35 minutes and got poor quality food none fresh food no one in line or in store

I don't know why all the reviews on here are so EXTREMELY negative. Yeah, they mess things up a little bit, but it's fast food? Lol. I was on my was through town, passing by driving from Tulsa to Wisconsin, stopped at a Burger King, because I knew I wanted somewhere that was a safe choice for a vegetarian meal. That's Burger King. My step dad ordered an impossible whopper with just mustard, and instead they put all the toppings AND mustard, so he had to scrape everything off, they did remember not to put onions on mine. They didn't put cheese on the burgers, which was an up charge. It's fine though. We were hungry, and they were damn good impossible burgies. The onion rings were fresh, warm, delicious. Highlight of the meal! Amazing!! Worth the stop in each crispy, salty, savory, minced onion , tiny little circular perfection. Wanted a chocolate shake, got a chocolate shake. Hooray! Wanted a cold cup of water with no ice so I could give some to my dog and some to myself, got a HUGE cup of cold water!! Lasted me the rest of the way home, and we were only halfway there. Are they perfect, always paying attention to detail? No. Do they probably spend the majority of their day getting yelled at by jerks they'll never see again who are taking out their road rage on the first voice or face they've encountered that day as soon as something slips up? Yeah. This is one of THE closest ff restaurants to the highway exit, and I can't imagine how many jerks they have to deal with (or the messes they clean up inside!). Sure, they might not be the absolute most attentive and meticulous when it comes to prepping orders, but is not giving you enough napkins, or your table not being as clean as you want because the store is heavily trafficked when you come during a busy time really a reason to give it a 1 or 2 star review? The people here in Litchfield must have unreasonably high expectations, no reason at all that this place has bad reviews. I have lived here just briefly, since Sept of 2023, I've been here several times and haven't encountered any issues or bad service. I've never had any cold or mishandled food, everything is always hot / fresh, I've had to pull around to the front for them to finish making my meal a couple of times, if anyone is upset about that, you need a dose of reality. I want to start by saying that this rating is solely about the cleanliness of the store. For a location off of the highway, that probably gets pretty regular traffic, you expect things to be a little nicer. The bathroom was under stocked, and the eating area itself was disgusting. There is dust covering all the surfaces, there's even a dead fly on top of dust on the cookie display. Nothing is more appetizing than seeing a dead fly on a cookie case. There are monitors by the window for children to play with but they were covered in a layer of grease, that you could visibly see. And unfortunately even the tables looked greasy. This was not an ideal pit stop, even for a fast food chain. The worst part is that there's an employee with butt length hair who doesn't contain it, nor did any manager force her to. We watched her play with her hair, put it into a new ponytail, then go grab ice to fill the ice bin, without washing her hands. She then went to the fry station and started scooping fries, but since her hair is so long, her ponytail was INSIDE THE FRY BIN! She put her hair in my fries, then someone tried to put them in my bag. Fortunately I watched it happen and asked for new fries, but that is gross. The staff is nice, the girl who greeted us has such a plucky demeanor, but her spunky attitude doesn't make the restaurant any cleaner. read more

Asked for a double wopper with cheese and bacon. I got a double wopper with Cheese and bacon. Northing else on it and it was on a hard bun that crumbled when I bit into it. Nothing else on it. Just cheese and bacon. Wow. You get what you ask for I guess. Extremely upset. read more

Very quiet when my dad and I went in. We were "greeted" very dully by an employee who appeared to have had her personality striped from her. My husband and I visited the Burger King in Litchfield, Il on July 9 at 10:45 AM. This is the filthiest restaurant I have ever seen. The bathrooms were dirty, the counters where they give you your food were dirty. The floors were awful and I slipped on something and almost fell down. The tables where customers eat were not wiped off. In short, there was not one thing that was clean. This restaurant needs to be closed down. Is there a city health dept.? Was better before the remodel and had better staff. We would go at night and either this older lady or man would take our order and was nice and got the order right. Now the place is dirty,new unfriendly staff, and never get the order right. One night we kept telling them all the things they got wrong and had an attitude the whole time. We had a long weight too. Absolutely horrible! We waited in the drive-thru lane for 30 minutes before getting to the window. Then, waited another 15 minutes "out front" because our online order was not ready. Thats 45 minutes for 3 hamburgers and fries. Horrific! We stopped there on our way to Springfield, IL on vacation. read more

This is the dirtiest! Nastiest! Rudest Burger King I have been in and I'm from Chicago... I wouldn't eat out of there! Omg I'm at a loss for words from the filth I saw in there from the door handles to the ice cream/ shake machine to all the boxes on the floor to the open I guess fridge you can look straight back in.... to the the workers attire!! I wish you could give a place 0 stars but unfortunately you have to give one star. False advertising, doesn't accept web/mobile coupons, and the staff is very rude. When I asked her to take the table tent down that advertised the mobile app for location, the girl behind the counter called me a child. read more

1. The service was slow. It took 20 min for our food to get done. We weren't the only ones. 2. All our food was done except for the french fries about 5 min into the waiting. We were told they were making new fries as the other batch had been sitting for a while. Eventually we noticed two other people get french fries while we still waited. One of the employees realized our order wasn't done yet. She asked the front register person, Ysabelle, why it hadn't been completed. The girl didn't know. We got our fries and left. 3. We got back to our hotel room. Everything was cold including the 'fresh' french fries. We were also missing one of the items we ordered. 4. The restaurant and drink station were gross. So dirty. I kept telling my son not to touch anything because it was so unclean. The floors, tables, counters, walls. I didn't go to the restroom so I don't know about them. We will never go back. read more

Been here twice and probably not again. Orders screwed up both times. Have to wait and wait to get food. Don't know if it's the workers or the management. Food is ok once you get it. Not at all pleased. We've ordered at this restaurant before and really had no complaints. However, tonight we went through the drive thru. My husband and I ordered 2 sandwiches and an order of onion rings. We also ordered shakes which we were told the shake machine was down. It's always down. While they remodeled, they probably should have put in a new shake machine. It took almost one hour to get our food. I personally sat and watched one employee making multiple sandwiches and throw them in the warming bin. When we got our food, it was just warm. When I finally got to eating my original chicken sandwich it tasted like it had sat in a grease bath and the crust was so soggy that a part of the crust had fallen off. I ordered it without lettuce. Not only did they keep the lettuce off of the sandwich, they also forgot how to put mayo ON the sandwich. Finally, the bun was soggy and nasty tasting. Needless to say, we won't be wasting anymore of our hard earned money at this Burger King. read more
