We ordered 3 ice cream cups and there were 2 cars in front of us in the drive-thru. We waited 30 minutes and they tried to serve us entirely melted cups of ice cream. This has created the lowest possible standard for fast food and is an embarrassment to the industry. Poor management, came here at approximately 1:45pm on 3/17 and was going to order food but the line was out the drive thru. So I went inside and there was a line inside as well. Don't even think of going to the drive-thru and expecting to be out there in no time. Speedy service is not their forte and it's very infuriating especially when you're planning to be somewhere else and wanted a quick bite to eat beforehand. My child loves BK, but golly I tend to encourage him to go someplace else most times with this situation occuring. Eversince covid happened and prices skyrocketed, their burgers shrink in size and the taste and experience is not the same as it was before. I have not had the best experiences at any BK but this one takes the cake. I was ordering for my sister and my nephew... I ordered a some nuggets, whopper meal, and kids meal in the drive thru. 1. Order was placed with minimal issues. As I received my food from the employee, I asked for my receipt. I thought it is practice to give a receipt but I guess I'm old fashion in that regard. The young man (let's call him Bill for story sake) mentioned he was unable to print out the receipt at that time. Weird because whatever button he was pushing was spitting out a bunch of receipt paper with verbiage on it. He did however say he could take a picture of the POS system with my phone so I agreed. 2. As I left the drive thru and parked in a stall in the front of the store, I went through the food bags to validate my order and to my surprise something was missing. I noticed no TOY was not placed in the kids meal. Luckily the drive thru was empty.. hmmm wonder why? (Apologize for the sarcasm but it was a bit frustrating and trying to find some humor in this situation) So I went through again to let Bill aware and have this issue resolved. 3. Another young man (which will call Chad) opened the window and said "what can I help you with?" I let him know that there was no Toy in the kids meal. He mentioned that they were out of Toys. In my head i was thinking okay totally understandable but I said to Chad why wouldn't you mention that when I placed the order? This is a item I paid for that I did not receive. Chad says no you did not pay for the toy you just paid for the kids meal and I'm looking at what you paid for. Mind you that he is looking at the POS system to verify my receiptless order and trying to tell me that the toy is free. Fast forward, I had to educative Chad on how to read and understand how a receipt works. I proceeded to let him know that the KM 4 PC I would think stands for *Kids Meal 4 piece* and the sum price for this meal in its entirety is located to the right. The items listed under in red with no price would correlate to the KM 4 PC which in turn would mean that all items under that header is what I paid for @5.49. Now Bill/Chad begins to say well do you want to pay for all the items separate, it will be more expensive. After that irrational response I understood I was dealing with two individuals that don't understand how to make things right for this issue. To avoid further conversation I said the Chad/Bill that we are good and left. Moral of this review: Is not to terminate or discipline Chad and Bill but make management aware of the clear lack of customer service and training for these young men. They seem like decent people, they just need supervision and training on situational awareness and how to approach and conduct effectively and professionally. I am sure the majority of Kids Meals that are purchased is for the dumb Toy that gets tossed in the trash within a week but It's what makes a kids meal a kids meal. It is very important to make the customer aware of any and all shortages on any items that are being ordered. I mean you wouldn't buy a car with a sunroof and drive it back home realizing that your missing the sun roof and going back to the dealer and them saying oh yeah forgot to mention we are out of sunroofs. Sorry for the bad example but ultimately it is not good business practice nor is it ethical to conduct business in this manner. They had no regular chicken nuggets, they weren't doing the 3 for $3 promotion, they had no coffee, no coke, and no BBQ sauce. We ordered a double cheeseburger, two packs of the 10 for $1.49 chicken nuggets, and medium fries. The cashier was neither friendly nor unfriendly. They called the order number after a while. I know it's fast food and they usually have their share of problems but the drive thru is ridiculous. I placed a mobile order, drove over, had one car in the drive thru in front of me. Now normally they come on the intercom right away and you hope you know what you want. I literally had enough time to review the menu (which wasn't necessary as I already ordered online) the drive thru employee finally came on and was so loud it scared the he'll out of me. I told them I had a mobile order and was told to pull forward. I got to the window and sat there at least 10 minutes, no one even said a word to me until my order was finally shoved through the window. Got it home (at least it was fresh) but not how I ordered.
