We were greeted in Spanish, I don't know if they understand English much because we pointed to the names on the items we wanted on the menu and asked for no jalapeños. Our item we asked for no jalapeños came with jalapeños. They only took some of the jalapeños off so it was a bit spicy for my liking. The crepes seemed like pancakes so they need to change the name on their menu items to pancakes instead It's nice inside, the decor is great but the lighting needs a bit of work because it doesn't pull the ambiance together. Seems like a spot for date night. I took my girls and were not really dressed up for this place that seems best to be dressed up for. We had to ask for boxes and then the check when I know I asked for it when we asked for the boxes. I do want to come by and try their drinks so I will give them another chance but when I'm with just my cousin instead with her and our kids.

Incredible food, fantastic drinks. Clean environment, amazing service. I would recommend to anyone and everyone in the area. Definitely coming back with my wife for a date night. 5* no question about it!

I'm glad I gave Tulum Mexican Restaurant a try. The restaurant was very clean and I really liked the unique plates and cups--they added a nice, thoughtful touch to the dining experience. The food was good and enjoyable, and overall it was a pleasant visit. Happy I checked this place out and would recommend giving it a try if you're in the area. Service is nice, waitress was very nice to us and checked up on us frequently. Overall I give this restaurant a 3/5 star review. Thank you

Ambiance is really chic and picture ready. Really cute. Service was fast , celebrated my mother's birthday and seated all of us fast. We ordered a lot of things and everything was delicious! Had to ask to remake the cheeseburger and they didn't hesitate or gave us push back. Very professional. I highly recommend the camarones à la diabla ! Spicy but delicious! 10/10 recommend this place.

If you're looking to take a step into authentic Mexico, look no further than Tulum in Manteca. From the very first step into the restaurant we were greeted right away with a smile and a handshake. We were immediately seated in the dining area and when we entered we immediately loved the vibe. It was like your own mini escape into Tulum with all the fresh and carefully selected decor. We sat down and decided on a couple cocktails. When I say that the only thing missing to a mini vacation was the beach after that first sip of the El Rompe Corazones, I kid you not. It tasted amazing with the perfect mix of coconut rum and guava juice. We decided on the birria Pambazos and obsessed over every bite. They were delicious, perfectly crafted and melted at every nibble. For my entree I went with the Empanadas a Cameron and could tell there was a lot of love and effort put into this meal, the seasoning was perfect, the tortillas used were homemade, and there was a perfect amount of cheese and sauce. We also ordered the Tacos de Ribeye and no crumb was left behind. Warm homemade tortillas wrapped around the perfect grill of steak left us stuffed and completely content. To finish off the evening I decided on one more cocktail, Tu Tormento, and it was exactly as it was described, intense and tropical If you're looking for a mini getaway that's light on the wallet but heavy on the vibe, make your way to this hidden boho-luxe experience.

From the moment we walked in, we could feel the heart behind this place. It's one of those rare restaurants where you instantly sense that it's family-owned -- full of warmth, kindness, and genuine care. Everyone was smiling, chatting, and making sure we felt comfortable. The atmosphere is beautiful It's the kind of place that reminds you why family-run restaurants are the heart of a community. Food we tried: chilaquiles, steak breakfast burrito, many kids food options, and enchiladas Stephanie was our favorite waitresses and took good care of us. She was very professional

Came during the week night. Its in the middle of a shopping center so there was plenty of parking. We came in and were seated right away. Beautiful spot. Lovely decorations. Great music. I definitely loved the vibe. Its a pretty large restaurant so it can hold a lot of people. The menu had some great options. Unique items not found at other local restaurants. The chips and the tortillas are made fresh. The steak tacos had a lot fo meat with delicious sides. Only concern was the meat wasnt hot. Not sure if it was pre-made or left out too long after made but the steak was room temp. Other than that the sides/toppings really gave it good flavor. We also ordered the trio (soups) it was delicious. I also enjoyed that it came with all the toppings. The staff was nice and friendly. They do speak English (read another review about them possibly not understanding english, but we didnt have that problem at all). Id definitely return and try some more options because overall the food was good, just a little pricey.

We went last weekend, just wanted to see the options. We all enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the service. We have many mexican restaurants in town, but I urge you to try them all. Different styles mean different flavors and you might find something new that you like or you could find something that isn't on anyone elses menu.

Enjoyed the food, but too pricey for over 3. Incredibly nice staff, and the place is incredibly nice, clean, and up kept. 3.5 if possible

The food was very salty. I ordered the trio which included menudo, posole and birria. They were not hot they were warm almost cold. So I'm thinking they probably cook it the day before and just leave it out overnight and just serve it like that which is a big no no! I didn't finish my food because as i mentioned it was so salt and cold. And the menudo and posole was not good. My husband got the enchiladas and they were also extremely salty didn't finish his plate either. We will definitely not be returning.

Great food and beautiful atmosphere! I would definitely come again. We had the Trio plate, chilaquiles verdes, and cafe de olla. ¡Buena comida y hermoso ambiente! Definitivamente vendría de nuevo. Tuvimos el plato Trio, chilaquiles verdes y café de olla.

Want to try out this new Mexican restaurant and I had El Trio and it's a combination of Menudo, posole, and birria. The Menudo was terrible. It looks sad and old tribe. The honeycomb was old. The service was good. Their homemade corn tortillas were very good, but I don't plan on going back to there again I'm a huge Menudo lover and that was my tester for Mexican restaurant. If the Menudo good and all the rest of the food is good, but this Menudo was not good. I don't recommend the Menudo.

It was ready to go by the time I arrived in the service was great. You guys gotta check this one out!!! everything was super flavorful, and the burrito was the size of the takeout platter. I'm so surprised this place is not more busier than it was. But I hope if you're ever in the area you're able to check this out. Unfortunately, I did completely dig into my meal and did not take a photo which I'm super sad about but when I go again I will definitely be uploading a photo.! Inside is a quaint little dining area with a bar type eating section that may or may not be used. It's separated by the walking path from the door to the cashier making it seem isolated without being isolated. Ordering was like any other taqueria, walk to the register and place your order. Reading the register screen the order was correct, two super burritos and two super fries. Roughly $40. It took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready and the employee was nice enough to bring it to thw table we were sitting at. When we arrive home and unpacked the items, I had to ask what we ordered. We had three containers, two we could only figured were burritos bowls, and the other was super fries. So, not only were we missing part of the order, we got something completely different. Luckily, a few people don't eat a lot and were able to share these meals. The super fries were large enough for two people to easily share. There was plenty of toppings to the point you couldn't see the fries, something, I personally like. However, the first bite into the fries were a undercooked frozen oven potato texture. Thinking it was just a frie that got stuck to another in the fryer, it happens. The second bite we cold, like refrigerator, cold. Digging around under the toppings to expose the fries that looked like they were microwaved instead of deep fried. There was no crispy crunch, or signs of a crispy tips. The potatoes were very easil to smash and had the frozen potatoes oder still. Needless to say, these could not be consumed. The super burritos, beside the fact they were not in a tortilla or in a burritos shape. AKA super burrito bowl, had no complaints from those that had to share. Will not be returning

But the recent changes to the Monday/Wednesday happy hour tacos caught me off guard. The deal now requires everyone at the table to buy alcohol, not just one person -- and the tacos themselves have gotten smaller, too. I don't really have a problem with the alcohol policy itself; that's pretty standard for happy hour. What got me was the service. I sat at the bar for nearly 20 minutes and the bartender ignored me the whole time -- no greeting, no heads-up about the new policy, nothing. Had someone just told me, I would've sat in the dining room from the start. No signage, no note on the menu, no acknowledgment at the bar. All around, a disappointing experience. I'll probably still be back -- back to my usual fajita salad -- but good things can't last forever, I guess.
