Was craving a Whopper. Stopped in around noon before heading to Ouray. Parking lot strewn with trash. Front entrance had French Fries on the ground and the door itself needed a wipe down. Figured I would hit the bathroom to wash my hands; that was a big mistake - floor was sticky and needed a deep clean. Left without ordering food. The food here is just ok. I don't know why, but it's never hot. Why is that? I went through there last night and the guy at the drive through window was in such a hurry I couldn't even get his attention! He never even said a single word to me, the entire transaction! Finally the manager, 10 feet behind him noticed me trying to get the first guy's attention and helped me. He was nice and took care of my issue for me. read more

As my husband and I are traveling to Salida, CO we stopped at this Burger King because it's literally the only fast food restaurant that has indoor dining!! Everywhere else the dining room is closed. Thank you Burger King for being there when we needed you!!! read more

Consistently terrible. As far as fast food goes, Whoppers have always been my favorite burger. Since moving to Montrose about 1.5 years ago, I've tried the one Montrose Burger King a few times, with big gaps in-between, hoping it would be better; that the problems would be fixed. You figure, in a chain like this, eventually corporate will hammer on you if your food is so bad for too long. I mean, the one thing fast food chains should always be able to advertise about themselves is consistency. No matter what location you're visiting, it should taste the same everywhere. Montrose Burger King whoppers taste so bad they actually taste WRONG. The meat is dry like it's been sitting around. The bun is stale. But the worst: the toppings. There are barely any toppings (not the case at other Burger Kings) and what is on there is so bad. WILTED lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion. So very wilted. It makes each bite taste ROTTEN. So gross. As well, there's barely any sauce. I don't need a lot, but the difference is easily noticed. All in all, and as expensive as they have become, you're better off going somewhere else. read more

asked for no mayo and extra pickles on a 2 whopper combo. both had mayo and no extra pickles. French fries were way too salty to eat. I called and made complaint they would not offer refund and directed me to the app saying I could receive one from there. after texting and emailing with BK support the best they would offer is a $10 coupon for future visit will never eat at any burger king again. read more

I was in a hurry and needed something fast. Work was really busy. The usual fare is dependable burger, soda and fries. I ordered the king double stack with bacon meal. It came with medium fries and a medium drink. The line moved fairly quick, and I arrived back at the shop with enough time to eat my meal. The fries were still hot, and the drink was as I ordered it, medium Dr. Pepper with no ice. The burger though was burnt and dry. Dry to the point where all the ketchup and mayo cannot help you choke it down. Being used to MRE's I choked it down because there was no time to return to Burger King. I figured it was better than waiting 4 hours until I got to eat. The thought was, I will just go by the store, show the manager the receipt and we will fix it. Got off work and went inside. Explained my situation to one of the older women and she said, sure we can fix that. I did not want another drink or fries, just the sandwich replaced. Another younger heavy-set woman picked up the bag and asked me where the food was? As it was explained to me, I was to go hungry and bring the food back to the Montrose Burger King. My other option was to call the manager and somehow convince her that my food was burned and dry. The tall chunky monkey assured me if the food was as bad as I said it was, I would not have eaten it. I politely went over the part of the story where I had 30 minutes to get my food and eat it before returning to work. I also did not feel it was unreasonable to ask for just the burger. I could not go 10 hours without eating. I do not get paid by my employer to chat up Ashley on the telephone about my crap burger. I will be as straight to the point as I can be. First off when a group of for come into the establishment you don't say after the first thing ordered is that it. Listen to everything thing that is ordered read back the order clearly and don't try and read it like a disclaimer or the micro machine man. And if you are the one at the cash register and your customer says they need a second un like a sit down joint you stand at your register till they order. We the customer are not a inconvenience we are the reason you have a job. I did your job 20 years ago it's not a hard job. The chicken nuggets where cold and stail onion rings under cooked and cold my double whopper was ok minus the fact I wanted cheese but I was going to wait 10 mins in a dead restaurant for them to make it right. read more

To the large, Samoan/ Native American man working the drive through window, taking my money. It's one thing to compliment a woman on her looks & say she is pretty. It should have stopped there. But to then eye her up and down, lick your lips, say things like "damn, Mmm mmm"... And especially in front of her two small children! Shame on you. You made me feel disgusting. The lady however that gave me my food was great, she even fixed the lid on my soda which no one EVER does in fast food. So, thank you. And to Mr. Creep status, learn how to respect women. We got as much buffalo and zesty sauce as we wanted without having to pay a stupid fee. The table was clean! The fries were hot and salty. They offered to cut our burger when they realized we were sharing. Great job fast food! read more
