On March 8, 2026, my family ordered 3 items from Burger King (@ 1071 S Toledo Blade Blvd, North Port FL). One of those items (a burger) had a foreign object inside the sandwich- SHARP METAL. I immediately contacted Burger King through the app so they could look into the matter (i.e., determine the origin of said metal and effect change that would keep other patrons safe.). They responded 4 days later and apologized for the INCONVENIENCE! Their way of making amends was to refund the price of the burger (not the whole order). They didn't ask if anyone had been injured, or for specific details about the foreign object (like size or where it was found) to help determine its origin. Since they were completely disinterested in customer well-being and getting to the root of the issue, there is little expectation that they investigated the matter at all. So, if you're in the mood for a burger, I implore you to eat ANYWHERE ELSE [for two reasons- your own safety, and to support a business who cares about you as a human being]. BK Corporate has told me repeatedly that the resolution to this matter is in the franchisee's hands, but the franchisee has yet to reach out. Neither corporate nor the local franchisee have expressed any class or decency throughout this ordeal. read more

The sandwich came on bread not toasted, when asked why it wasn't toasted like the picture, they said they would have to run it through 6xs to toast it. I will never again return to this place!!! So not only are the employees slow and lazy, they obviously don't want people coming back. About a month ago, I ordered a cheeseburger and a large coke. They give me my total and I pull around. I come up to the window to this girl pouring the end of a warm 2 liter in my drink....... NO. I asked what she was doing...? I'm not sure how this location hires their employees but they never seem to have it together. Whenever you go through the drive through, you have to "pull around front" because they want "to make the food fresh for you". They still don't get the order right. The lady next to us waiting had to send hers back because they forgot one of her burgers. They forgot part of our order too. Watching them count the cash is pretty amusing though. I'm surprised if their drawers balance at the end of the night. The portions are ridiculously small too. "Where's the beef?" lady should ask that question here after ordering a burger. Another bad trip...last time gong here. Went through drive thru. Asked for no ice in coke...got ice. Asked for cheese on chicken sandwich got no cheese. Ordered chicken fries got no dipping sauce. No salt, no napkins no care. French fries were under done. Chicken fries over done. Poor management... poor ownership. Owners must see bad reviews and not care....want to make America great again? If I could leave no stars I would. The employees are dropping F- bombs with customers in the building. Although the cashier was polite, majority of the employees are just standing around while there is a long drive- thru line and customers that haven't even been waited on in the restaurant. I also have not seen one of them change their gloves since being in here and I have been in the restaurant for 20 minutes now waiting on my food. This is not a location you go to for cleanliness, speed or good service. The only decent part about this BK is the prices. Their cheap, especially if you use the app. Heath wise, this place is a hazard. Lots of flys. The flies are either all alive, or alive in some places and dead on the floor or window seals in other places. It's not the only graveyard in this review, wait till you see the fries. Trash usually overflows here and the tables and floor never get cleaned. The employees. Man, gotta step up the customer service. That's all I've gotta say. And on a side note, sometimes you see half or more of them smoking out back and a couple working inside to do the work (not to mention the ones left inside aren't doing the work because they want too). The food is sub-par or worse. Most burgers and sandwiches look slopped together and the fries... The fries look like they were taken out of the grave. This location was really good and clean when they initially opened...but in the last 3-4 years they have really tanked on customer service, cleanliness, and functionality. Half the time they are not open first thing in the morning for breakfast like they are supposed to be...and the lights and business would be closed...so they are not opening when they are supposed to be. I live right off of toldeo so this drive thru is always a quick option for an easy meal. Ive gone here at least a couple of dozen times and every time they manage to screw something up. Cold food, old food, wrong order, you name it. I went to grab breakfast there this morning and after waiting 10 mins to pay (i was the only car there) they told me they were out of mocha iced coffee. Okay cool, just give me a vanilla. They hand me my drink and its a small...when i ordered a large. I asked if it was a large amd they said no, that they were out of large cups. I asked if i was charged for a large and she said yes and the manager could fix it if I would like. I just asked for another small...no biggy. But the fact that they were jusy going to let it slide and expect me not to say anything? Wtf. And top of that, it was just milk, vanilla flavoring, and sugar...no coffee. I've lived near this location for almost two years and have returned only because there are not many quick options near by. Let me start by saying I have never had so many bad/wrong orders from any fast food restaurant as I have here. Atleast their consistent with screwing up. They must be on year two without a manager because not only is the location always out of product and poorly trained but the building and grounds are not kept up what so ever.
