I ordered a Whopper and fries and it literally came out a minute (or less) after ordering. Although that kind of pace was amazing, it was too good to be true; the whopper wasn't hot and the fries were stale. I requested them to remake the fries and after 10 minutes - when I hadn't gotten it yet - I asked again and they just forgot. They remade it and it was fine. My disappointment was that the place was almost empty (around dinner time) and with 3 employee there - all young teenagers - they were all on their phones, and some even sitting at the tables, so relaxed as if they had nothing to do. They seemed to be taking their job for granted. Whomever is the hiring manager or store manager, you need to do a significantly better job teaching and managing your team; their lack of interest and laziness was clear and it affected the quality of food. Burger King's whole thing is "Have it your way", so why is it when I order my way, which is the way I always order, I'm told I can't have it that way. What did I order? A double whopper jr. w/cheese. This person tells me I can't have cheese on it! . Excuse me, what? I asked why (thinking she's simply going to say they perhaps ran out of cheese. My usual is double cheese burgers. 90% of time cheese is not melted or chilled. Manager has no smile ever. I go inside because no matter what I'm ask to park at door for order at breakfast time. Again cheese not melted for croissant breakfast sandwiches and stale. I always have to ask for them to adjust pricing for two sandwich deals. Why. If I order 5 breakfast sandwiches they charge more for 5th sandwich so I have to get 6. They had a heavy Hispanic woman working there from a stool. No longer there. The new manage just hates her job. Walked into this BK and there was a sign on the register informing customers that they had to use the Kiosk. No one was available to assist in person. I tried using a coupon & tried to follow the instructions Was unable to get help. Employees were too busy at the drive up window. No one wanted to help so I helped myself out the door. It's Burger King! This chain is nostalgic for B and I. Most recently, we got some coupons in the mail and decided to pay a visit. It's clean and organized inside. Plenty of indoor seating is available. The cashier was super sweet and our order was ready in no time. Restrooms are clean as well. We enjoyed our meal and it was a great deal! The food is bottom shelf tier. Tis a shame as used to like the Whopper. Those days are over. I'm not sure if it's the beef quality, or maybe these burgers are frozen. Not a fan, and the chicken nuggets, or fries don't go past marginal level. Fast food isn't gourmet, but there are better options. On a plus note, the employees here are super friendly. The location is very clean. Seating is relatively comfortable. I miss the BK of the 90's. Maybe my age is showing, but the enthusiasm is gone. Is it too late for this chain? The last 3 times I've ordered from this store my order has been wrong. First I ordered a burger and cookies, when I got home I opened my bag and no cookies. I went back to the store and told them I was missing them and they said "oh we are out". Why would you not tell me when you give me my order? They were perfectly fine with me not getting what I paid for with no notice, no refund, no exchange. Second time. I ordered 2 double cheese burgers and when I got home I went to take a bite and noticed it was a single cheese burger. I opened and checked my second one and same thing. Third time today, I had a discount so placed an order for my family. Got home and once again I was missing an item. My double cheese burger was missing and my whopper that I put no tomatoes, had tomatoes. The employee (or possibly manager by now) named Esmeralda at the BK at 3035 Centreville Road is always very friendly to customers and always very courteous and helpful when advising customers when customers want to know more about the food or prices, etc. Esmeralda is always doing something. Full of flies, dirty with spilled soda on the floor and rude employees. They even put my fries upside down. Awful experience.

AVOID! Near my house so when I want BK it's convenient...but now even that is not worth it. This is, and has been for some time, the worst managed BK I've ever experienced. Understaffed and the staff they have don't seem to have any idea what they are doing, or care. Food and drink items are routinely "Not available". The food that is served is frequently cold - like it's been sitting around. The fries I had yesterday were literally half-cooked and limp. All of this while you can sit in the drive-through for an eternity waiting for someone to even come on the speaker, let alone while you waste gas sitting at the window for food taking forever to show up. I forgot to eat breakfast this morning, so I stopped here on the way to work for some fast food grease. I've been through the Drive-Thru at this BK before - but had never gone inside. This morning - I decided to go in for my food. I ordered the Sausage, egg, and cheese on Sourdough, with small hash browns, and a small coffee. For some reason, this BK seemed to be undermanned, so it took a few minutes longer than most fast food places to get the food out to me. Worth giving them a try again. I read the reviews and yes many of them old, but I was craving Burger King(I know). I checked on everyone's complaints and seems as if they have corrected past issues. Time was 10:15am so their "slower" time. I got breakfast and the curbside guy got lunch and the cashier accommodated both without complaint. Men's bathroom was clean, fountain drink station very clean, tables in dining room clean. Bout the only thing I could find was a wayward hash brown on the floor hiding under a cabinet. I don't do reviews but thought this place could use a good fair perspective on their restaurant. Almost $12 for a whopper meal... whatever. The problem is I eat fast food maybe twice a year and I swear it's a horrendous experience every time. Onion rings and whopper are ice cold at noon and the place is slow. Ordered extra cheese, $.80, and it's not melted at all. They must have cooked all this stuff early this morning. So, the food is the food. As with other fast food, you are trading quality for convenience, and it's not necessarily YOUR convenience. It's a known issue so enough said on that. This isn't gourmet. It isn't home style. It's what it is. What is at issue is the staff. Case in point - I go to the drive through and order 3-4 items off the menu, no special requests. I'm the only one in the drive through. Get to the window, pay, and am instructed to drive to the front and wait for the food? Why? No one behind me. Window tells me "it's because our times are too long and we have to get them down." Huh. So perhaps I'm old school, though on a 100 degree day I see little point in waiting in the unshaded parking lot for food when I'm not holding anybody up in the shaded drive through line. So I say "no thanks, I'll wait right here." Kid gets the manager, who says the same thing - they are getting in trouble for their times and need to get them down. I say that no one is behind me and I'm fine where I am. Manager rather patronizingly says "but the food will take time to cook!" So I say "OK, and I'll be right here." No kidding, I timed 72 seconds after that exchange and the food was in a bag and handed to me. So I'm of a mind to talk to the franchisee about this - those drive through times may look borderline on paper but what at least one shift is doing to improve them is NOT helping customer service at all. Restaurant #10620 (Oak Hill, VA). Drive thru order. After I paid, the associate asked me to drive around front and wait for my food there. They often ask customers to do this and honestly it's quite irritating, especially when there's no clear reason for it happening. Instead of doing so as usual, I told the associate I would rather stay put as there was no one behind me. He claimed they are timed and this is why they ask customers to drive around front. I then asked why I should care about their numbers or statistics and the associate was clearly irritated (as I always am when I am told to drive around). What some of the associates at this location don't realize is that it hurts the customer experience and it tells me they don't care about the most important part of their operation--the people keeping them in business. It's understandable to require something like this if there is a long line, or, I don't know, you're *actually* making something from scratch and it's going to take a while, but I was literally the only customer in or outside the building (10:45 PM) and my food arrived 30 seconds later. It turns out it takes them less time to serve me at the main window than it does for me to drive around to the front, park, and wait for them to walk all the way out to give me my food. No other fast food places in the area do this without very good reason. I then had to ask for a receipt, as this location never hands out receipts normally (Why? Can't you even ask?). Not a good location, management is bad. I ordered a twix pie, and repeated the order twice in the drive thru lane. I paid for the order (was not given a receipt and did not request one since I did not imagine I would need it). This is during rush hour traffic so, over 10 minutes later when I am already a few miles away and stuck in rush hour traffic, I look in the bag and find out they had given me a snickers pie instead of the twix pie. I called the location, the cashier claimed he thought he heard me ask for a snickers pie and that is why he gave me the snickers pie. I asked him if he would be willing to either refund me for the pie or email me a gift card so I could get a twix pie another time. He stated no, that I would need to come back to their location to get a refund or exchange the item. I told him it does not make sense for me to drive back in rush hour traffic to exchange the item. I mentioned I was not given a receipt, the response was "We don't give customers in the drive thru receipts unless they ask for them". I told him I do not live in this area, and if it would be possible for me to swap the snickers pie out for a twix one at a different burger king location. The cashier told me no they can't do that either. He claimed they cannot send over the order/purchase information to other burger king locations. Note this cashier was discussing my questions/complaints with the manager of this location. So this location was not willing to work with me at all. I offered them the chance to refund me, email me a gift card, or even if I could get a different pie at another burger king location. The answer to all those questions was no, and they said if I want to exchange or get a refund I have to come back to their location. Obviously I am not going to drive over nearly 3 miles back to this burger king location in rush hour traffic over a pie. Honestly if they are going to request customers to drive back to their location just to get a refund or exchange on an item, they need to either compensate the gas/time costs or offer a free meal/gift card. I was surprised they actually told me the only thing they could do is give me a refund or exchange if I actually drove back to their location with the item to return or exchange it. Note they do not even give receipts (perhaps it makes it harder to report the order messups when you don't have a receipt). Since they made the mistake, they are responsible for either issuing a refund, emailing a gift card, or at the minimum, allowing you to at least exchange the item at another burger king location nearby you. Nobody should have to drive back to the same location for an exchange or refund when it was the burger king employee's mistake. I really did not think I would receive a snickers pie when I asked for a twix pie twice. I also told them they can go back and review their camera/voice footage to confirm I asked for a twix pie, and they told me they do not have any camera/voice footage in the drive thru to verify. I noticed some other reviews mention similar experiences here so this burger location is not well managed. The employee made the mistake in the order, but the manager refused to do anything to rectify the mistake beyond offering a refund or exchange if I came back to their specific location. Even if I had a much larger order it would really be a big waste of time driving back. read more

One his employees (a subordinated) was criticizing him constantly in front of the customers. She was not soft and courteous with the customers. She deemed to be making up accusations against him. Service was so slow that I couldn't even order. When I pulled up, the guy said, "Hold on one second and I'll be right with you." Patiently I waited. I waited at the speaker at the drive thru for 2 songs (4-5 minutes?). Just got back from this location--literally 45 minutes ago--and had such a horrible experience! Firstly, it's a pretty bad sign when a fast food establishment is completely EMPTY at 5:45 on a weekday...why I ignored this fact, I'm not sure... Anyways, despite this, my friend and I proceeded through to the drive-thru where I ordered myself a Medium Satisfries and my friend a coffee with Splendas on the side. That's it. When I reached the window, the manager (a short 30-something year old female) greeted me without a word and instead extended her hand as if I had time to already count out my money. I asked, "How much?" She impatiently said, "3.48," and slammed the drive-thru window in my face. It was enough to startle me. I had to wait a full minute before she came back, collected my money, and gave me my change--all without uttering a single word. I couldn't believe her behavior for a manager. It's like she was literally thinking, 'Oh, let me make this customer wait as long as possible since she inconvenienced me by not having the correct amount of payment ready.' Then, someone completely different--who never dealt with the order-taking process--comes to the window and hands over the Fries and the coffee. I have to ask for the Splenda, which was no big deal...but then had to wait a full 60 seconds while this individual searched for, found, and counted out what he considered to be an appropriate amount of Splenda packets for my coffee. Then had to ask for a stir-stick. Gah. Food and coffee was fine--what I expected it to be. I understand that with fast food, what you pay for is kind of what you can expect to get...but the service here is so uninformed, inexperienced, and outright rude...it's nonsensical. Do not go to this location. You are much better traveling further South toward the KFC or Taco Bell in Sully Plaza or North toward the McDonald's in the Dulles Plaza. read more

Ever since I was a wee lad I would go and enjoy the freshest and juiciest burgers of them all. Of course I'm talking about five guys, but THIS Burger King is in second place, hence the 4 stars. I've always loved imagining there was a play place to play at like at my local Macdonalds. But the best part about the whole experience is the upmost whimsical staff. They tend to almost all of my every needs ;) Since they have redone the whole jaunt it makes me feel like I'm a dog in a dog park or a farmer with his hoe. They were confused and didn't understand what I was askiing. Instead, they told me they didn't have coffee, then they told me they were sold out. They just seemed un-informed about their own corporate marketing. After all this I still wanted a bite, I started to give my food order since I was already at pickup booth and I was the only car in line.
