The manager that works there in the mornings is a waste of space. He does nothing but sit in the back and even just lets the phones ring as I saw getting my breakfast. I know people like to rag on this place, but I like it. The jalapeno poppers and the cheesey tots are awesome, the Whopper is an American icon, and I like their fries. Date of incident: 5/21/25 at 1:37 pm. Absolutely worst service I have EVER had. I created my order on line went to the restaurant to pick up. Counter person ignored me for 13 minutes. I then summoned her to ask about my order. After showing her the order number and items, she stated she could not find it in the system and continued to work. After 28 minutes I inquired again. She became disrespectful and asked what did I want from her. At that the other workers came from the kitchen to the counter and confronted me. I asked for the manager and was give the name Allison. This restaurant located 2912 Dodge street managed by Chris in the mornings is terribly ran. After spending a nice amount of money on a few meals I noticed that I was missing a sandwich. When I circled around to go inside and notify the manager, I was accused of trying to steal the sandwich. Then I get a sandwich thrown toward me at which I threw it back and asked for names and was told their name was none of my business. Went through the drive thru to pick up some burgers for a new homeless friend we made. There was 1 car in line ahead of us but we had to wait almost 10min to order. We got 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries and a cup of water... we waited over 15min before we got our food! No idea why it took so long... Fiancé wanted to try the impossible burger so we hit up the old BK gem. It was deceptively similar to a real burger patty; I'm convinced you could switch it out with a "real" patty and nobody would ever know. However, the new $1 taco menu item was the most greasy, underwhelming fast food item I've ever seen. Standard Burger King, ala 10 years ago. Old motif stuff, mixed with the new. The Whopper (no cheese please) was fine. The service was okay, if not a bit spacey at times. I skipped the fries. I always like to visit this Burger location because I think the drive thru is very scenic. The burgers are very good and the condiments are proportioned really well at this place. The folks in the kitchen really know how to craft a well balanced sandwich. The workers here all do a great job and they are friendly and helpful in the process. It seems like I always end up behind some rabble-rouser in the drive thru and the employees are always graceful and make sure everyone gets the food that they ordered. read more

The WORST fast food restaurant and service I have ever had. Went to get breakfast at 9:45 am today (Sunday 8/2/15) at 10:15 am I am still sitting waiting for my food from the drive through. Waited 15 min at the window until they said to pull up to the front to wait. No explanation given. While waiting I saw what looked like a dead cockroach inside of the window. After waiting I went inside and asked what was taking so long. The manager said there was two of them (understandable) but was rude about it. I told the manager about the bug issue and she yelled and said that it was a beetle bug. After waiting another ten minutes my friend went in. Because this had made her late to work. She did the same and talked to the other man working there. Meanwhile I was sitting in the car and watched the manger (one of the two workers) have a cigarette and call someone outside by the dumpster. She then walked in and said she was going to "choke out" my friend for raising her voice at her nephew who apparently was the other man working there.
