It's an Ok restaurant. I had a bacon cheeseburger with all the way toppings. The peanuts were a nice touch. But the burger had flaws... Burnt bun, not much meat to the burger, and the ingredients kept falling out. The service was kinda aggressive to the customers. When calling out the orders not very friendly.

Between In&Out and Five Guys, I would be really hard pressed to find a fast food winner. I guess we all have our favorites but these are my top fast food favs. Each so greasy yet so delicious in their own unique way. In both establishments I've noticed the staff to to be more friendly and helpful and happy than your usual fast food joint. I think although it's fast food, it's still nice to walk into a place you're eating and be greeted and treated as a worthy customer. Five guys make the burgers fresh, if you see them as they put it on the grill they come from the fridge not freezer and are pinkpinkpink. If you're looking for a thick juicy burger this probably won't fulfill your needs, it's a skinny style patty with a lot of flavor. I love that a great variety of toppings are offered free of charge- "all the way" will give you a variety of condiments, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, pickles etc. There are extra free "all the way" toppings too like jalapenos and more, but I usually get it "all the way"regular without the extra extras. Cheese burgers are bit more expensive than hamburgers and they have a "little" aka jr option and regular. If you're a have it all person like me you'll go for the bacon cheese burger! Honestly if you're going to get fries too the "little" will do you just fine. Fries are seasoned cajun or regular, and they sure give you your money worth in fries! A small cup is filled cup plus much more spilling over in the bag. Good value in my opinion. Wait time for the burger is minimal once ordering, and there is not usually a very long line to order just a few people ahead of you. Also, free peanuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since there is no in&out in NE, Five guys gets the craving fixed when it comes.

Need a hangover cure? This is it. Cashier was extremely helpful with ordering and had great customer service. I got a cheeseburger which comes with two patties. Various topping options are available and we got Cajun fries to share. The fries are huge portions so ordering a regular will be more than enough for two people.

Double bacon cheeseburger with unmelted cheese an over the top seasoning Cajun fries

Every time I come here, my order is never ready. I swear they wait for me to arrive before they cook the order. Super annoying.

Honestly, we weren't that... impressed, but we gave it a valiant go on both meals chosen! Kinda bummed there wasn't a drink menu with cocktails, but they had a great selection of wine ranging from $100-$500 a bottle. So, we stuck with water. Bread and creamy butter was dropped off while we waited and who can't resist a warm roll? Got the Trail Boss Prime Rib, with salad bar, and baked potato side was requested as medium. The au ju lacked flavor, and only lasted a few bites before not used at all. The baked potato was delish though! Prime rib was very tender, a lot of cap which was nice, but it was just sorta.. average. I snagged their Teriyaki Tenderloin Kabob on a bed of wild rice, salad bar, and asparagus side (probably the first restaurant I've seen that's offered asparagus as an actual side), requested well done. By all accounts it does look a bit charred, but when the veggies were pulled apart, they were warm and tender and paired well with the teriyaki and rice. That rice was delish! Asparagus didn't blow any air up my skirt unfortunately, because I really wanted it to blow my mind. I felt like we left a lot of food on our plates, but that could've just been how it was. We just felt... underwhelmed and wasn't picking up on all the hype.

I noticed a lot of newer eateries and businesses in Aksarben since the last time I was there, so hopefully some of them stick around a while. Anyhoo, on to Crispy Burger! First off, the interior is bright and colorful, with a lot of orange, red, and then an accent wall of black and white geometric shapes. It's a super welcoming vibe! One thing that's kind of weird is that the building (and Yelp and Google) says Crispy Chicken, but all the wrappers and signs say "Crispy Burger" which was confusing. The smells inside when you walk in make your mouth water, so get ready to over order if it's your first time here (we definitely did!) They have a LOT of fried things, like fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, popcorn chicken, etc. So this definitely is not an every day place if you are looking for health food. We ordered the cheese sticks to start and they were enormous. Definitely shareable between a few people, as each cheese stick is like an appetizer in itself! I ordered the nuggets and fries, and they were really well breaded and pretty large. You can choose from about 1500 sauces for dipping (ok, maybe more like ten, but that's still a lot!) The fries were great too, that come as a side in your box. My husband had the bone in chicken wings combo, and he was very pleased with his choice. Gigantic wings, with fries, a biscuit, and mashed potatoes and gravy on the side. Now is Crispy Burger fine dining or somewhere you'd go on a date night? Definitely not. But it's nice, tasty food, for a pretty inexpensive price. So I would definitely recommend trying it out next time you're in the Aksarben area!

We ordered a chicken nugget meal with teriyaki skewers and a biscuit with a side of fries. This meal had a ton of food and left us feeling as full as a tick. I'd have to say the fan favorite of the night was the skewers. The flavor was so tasty and light. I believe it was chicken thighs, there were some fatty pieces but I honestly didn't mind. The nuggets reminded me of a similar fast food location with the Golden Arches logo. I honestly didn't mind because these had more flavor and seasonings within; same consistency of chicken within though. I can see myself coming back here to try some of their boba and rolled ice cream!

The table also felt sticky and didn't seem very clean, which wasn't a great impression. As far as the food, we ordered the rib dinner, the Hott Mama, and chicken strips with fries. The Hott Mama was honestly almost inedible, it was strangely sweet and had basically no seasoning at all. The ribs were decent at best, nothing I'd go out of my way to order again. The chicken strips were also extremely bland with absolutely no seasoning. What really stood out was that when we were leaving, we noticed other tables had ordered the chicken strips too, and several plates were left almost untouched. That says a lot. A little seasoning would go a LONG way here! Between the slow service, sticky table, and bland food, this was unfortunately a disappointing experience.

One thing that surprised me the first time I visited was how good the cocktails are. Most people come for the wings, but don't sleep on the bar program.
