Drive thru time was extremely slow. Took us 20 minutes just to order. The order process went smoothly from that point forward.

Staff rude, feeding friends. The cook dropped my order, then said he was too busy, called me a name. Very dirty.

About the chain: Decent fast Americanized Mexican food at a good price. A good place to get your daily fill of salt and oil. A salsa bar serves up half a dozen or so varieties of salsa. How this store is different from the rest: Staff is a little more friendly and competent than most other nearby TJs. After just a few visits, several staff came to recognize my wife and I and greet us like family. This store is good about changing the oil in their fryer, so the Potato Oles (tater tots) are always good. read more

ZERO STARS!!!!!! My husband prefers Taco Johns over TB so he likes the tacos we pay for extra cheese .90 we were charged for 2-tacos. I should of just made a donation because obviously no extra cheese to be found. This taco john is NOTORIOUS for FORGETTING the chips when you purchase them, good thing! Lots of vegan friendly options Taco Johns is a small chain through the Midwest where we stop when traveling because there are several items on their menu that are vegan friendly, from Bean burritos to bean tostadas etc. They even come out and say on their web site that their refried beans are vegan!! Their potato ole also are listed as "no allergen" so they are vegan, too! I heard on the radio something about Taco Tuesday so I called and crispy tacos are on sale on Tuesday. So I asked if I could get mine with beans instead of beef and was told yes. Then I asked if I could substitute potatoes for beef for the Taco Tuesday price and again was told yes! If you like tacos, for the price, this is a great fast food vegan option. Beans are high in fiber and protein and no cholesterol, so I am always happy when food on the road is this easy. The potatoes are really good, too, in fact for just .30 more I could have ordered a bean instead of beef taco and added the potato, I might do that next time! The clerk was VERY nice, helpful and ensured my order was made without cheese. I will visit this restaurant again, especially on Taco Tuesday! read more

Pull up to the drive-through and they told me that they are out of nacho cheese, which is an a big deal to me because I don't care about nacho cheese. He was kind a hard to understand, I did forget to ask for no sour cream and guacamole, Which they made my order again, they didn't use any gloves and touched my food with their bare hands!! Look, the 3/4 stars this has on Yelp is unfair. Especially for what you're paying for and getting. If you want a gourmet restaurant, this isn't that. It's a tasty Tex-mex fast food chain. I have gotten food from multiple other Taco Johns locations around the metro and have had nothing but great food. So when I went to the Bellevue location I expected the same great service. Sadly I was insulted by the transvestite that took my order. My food was extremely cold and they forgot the Potato oles that came with my meal. I came around the drive trough again just to be told "fuck off cant you see we are in a rush" by the manager. I think his name was nick. I will never be going back. Save your money and go to Taco Bell if you want mexican fast food in Bellevue. Hope this helps read more

First in a long time visiting this establishment, I was very satisfied with my services here and really enjoyed the food here. My only wish the day i came in the manager would defend the disabled cashier that was abused by a customers that came in behind me they were very rude to the young man that worked there, I'm very understanding about slow disability people, they are human being period. read more

Very pleasantly surprised! Im not big on fast food Mexican, and refuse to even stop at a taco bell. But this place is different. I've never even heard of Taco Johns before, so I decided to try it. Service- The young lady at the counter was upbeat, friendly, and helpful without being obnoxious or pushy, a rarity. Being from the South, asking me for my name (like many fast food restaurants here do) is considered rude. That is not done here. This fact alone earns a star. I didn't realize it but after ordering, you are to sit down and they actually bring the food to you! Are you sure this is fast food? The order was filled quickly and correctly, and my table bussed for me. The only reason anyone could call this fast food is because of the short amount of time to get the food. None of the indifference and sloppiness usually associated with other fast food restaurants here! Great job! Food- Good. Its not authentic Mexican, but its not billed that way either. Its "west-mex", and surprisingly good. Its not bland like a certain other Mexican chain, it actually has flavor! It is not so hot that.you cannot enjoy it either. It is billed as "bold flavor with attitude", a very accurate description. It is honest, good food. I need to say this about the potatoes. Perfect! When i go to other fast food restaurants, I refuse to even get the fries because the oil they fry them in leaves a bitter aftertaste, not here at Taco Johns. Cleanliness- EVERY table was clean as was the countertops at the soda fountain and condiment station along with the restrooms. This is a good restaurant, well worth the time and money. The tacos are good and hot. The reason for the three stars. I went though the drive thue and the guy running it was rude and he practically throw my food at me though the door. I checked my order before I left the guy poked out and yelled at me the order was right. The last 3 times I went there half my order was messed up. read more

Pretty good food..especially the oles. Chicken quesadilla was also pretty good, wasn't a fan of , but I like TB's better. Good customer service.
