Did an online order . Waited 5 mins at the speaker for someone to greet me . Told them it was for me and of course they took a few mins to find it . We drove up to the window and wait 15 mins . They hand us the bags we ask is this everything . Yes . We drive forward and park and part of the order was missing we drive back around to tell them and they acted like we we're lying so we went thru the bags at the window in front of them . A little rant about a insignificant matter in the scheme of things. I would not even bring it up if it was just a quality matter. Anyhow I stopped at our neighborhood Burger King and ordered some tacos and a junior whopper and apple pie for mom. I ordered through their amazing (insert rolling eyes emoji here) app ahead. When I arrived home this is what the tacos looked like. Not very similar to the advertised taco is it? I wasn't born yesterday and do acknowledge fast food items rarely look like the advertised item. But these looked absolutely nothing like the advertised photo. Nothing is the same. The shell is different. The meat is different. They actually have stuff in it. Well I jumped back in the car and went back to our BK. I approached Josh the assistant manager who I had obtained my order from 15 minutes earlier. I asked that he either remake my order and actually put "stuff" in my tacos or refund my money. He said whatever you want. So I chose new tacos. He proceeded to pull some premade tacos off the rack and I tell him to make sure they are better made than the ones I brought back. He shows me one and its just the same. A flimsy shell with a maybe 2oz of what I hope was meat. No sauce. Maybe 3 grains of cheese and 3 tiny postage stamp size pieces of lettuce. Come on Josh can't you put something in these. "Its corporate policy to use that much stuff in them. What do you expect for a buck?"I'll take a refund Josh. "Ok, but I need the whopper junior back and apple pie before I can refund your money."What? My mother is eating those as we speak. "I have to refund the whole thing. I can't just refund the tacos." After a look of disbelief from me he could tell I smelled the BS and not from the farm down the road. "I can refund the whole thing and then charge you just for the burger and pie." Fine, go ahead. He swipes some card in his register and hits a few buttons on the touch screen. He then remarks" Its not working it won't let me refund your order." He then starts taking customer orders. I hear a young lady mention tacos in the line and I recommend not to order the tacos. They don't put anything in them. "If you continue to say that I will have to ask you to leave. " I don't think he liked me laughing at him. After taking the customer orders he swipes again and hits a few buttons and then says "Because you used the mobile app I can't refund your money."You can refund my money. "The only other way is to take it out of the till and it will come out of my pocket." That farm is getting closer. I have worked fast food Josh. You can refund my order with it not coming out of your pocket. I want to talk to the manager. "I am the manager." No, you're the assistant manager. Get the manager on the phone. After him taking care of more customers and mind you I never complained about that he gets who I believe he said her name was Patty and he quickly says to her. "I have a customer who says I am lying about not being able to give him a refund because he used the mobile app. He ordered some tacos and wants a refund because theres nothing to them, He doesn't believe it will come out of my pocket." (PEE YOO!)He then hands me the phone and no she does not mention once about it coming out of his pocket. She does say "We never had to refund a mobile order. I don't know if we can." Before I call her on it, she does say." We will refund your money. Please give Josh back the phone." He nods like she can see him and says yes and then hangs up. "She said to take the money from the safe and it will come out of her pocket."He takes care of some other customers and finally refunds my money and I cross the street to taco bell. Now in full disclosure I have had the tacos at BK before and when they actually put something in them they are tasty, similar to Jack in the Box. But this certain BK unit continues to under perform and other BK I have ever been to. Not the first problem I've had with them been skimpy nor the first time they blame "Corporate" but this was the first time they laid that line of bs about not being able to refund my money. Like I said when done right I find the tacos tasty. Avoid Sandusky Michigan's BK and maybe have a trial taco before ordering more and you should be safe. Thanks for listening err reading. read more

Worst burger king I've been to. Unfortunately with my pregnancy cravings I can't help but wanna go here for the food but the employees are terrible. The food is always good but they take 5-10 minutes just to come on the speaker. One time we came here nobody came to the speaker at all and we left after waiting 10 minutes. Always take forever to get your food, probably because they only ever have 2 employees working at one time. read more

Just like any other Burger King, except bigger. I don't understand why the ones back by us are always packed and tiny. These places up here are huge and empty. The only thing that bothered me was they had this coke machine where you can pick what you want, i had unsweetened tea and wanted a splash of lemon, didn't have it. We very disappointed we ordered the buy one burger and get one for a dollar. We only got that and 2 medium sized drinks and the total amount was $12.05. We would been better off getting the 2 for 10. My husband got the big fish and it was way over cooked! read more

This location is awful! For years I have had continuous problems, but I always seem to give them another chance about every 6 months to see if things change. The service is slow, there are times nobody is even at the counter to greet you to take your order. They have continually been "out of stock" on basic menu items like chicken patties. The food is usually put together sloppily and one time it was so cold the cheese wasn't even wilted. I took it a bite and it was terrible so I turned around told them about it. All they asked me is if I wanted them to warm it up in the microwave! Numerous times our order is completely wrong or things forgotten. I hope they get some new training and figure out how fast-food is supposed to work. read more

The indoor service is very slow and there usually is not anyone at the cash register. The drive-thru takes precedence and the lobby customers are pretty much ignored. The staff does not even say hello or say be with you in a minute, etc. It has been like this for a long time, so it does not look like the owner of the franchise is interested in improving it. There is a regular turnover of help. Do not go there if you are really hungry because you will have to wait a while for your food. After waiting in the lobby, had to leave and go thru drive-thru to get my meal when I realized that the outdoor customers were getting waited on faster. The food is good, however. Only complaint is with the wait and the service. read more
